ehuh.. first, no need for such childish language and it seams interesting how you can talk for everyone, secondly the game is pretty simpler to the Japanese 'Call of the Future', featuring a number of the same mistakes as well as some of the same good things. It's not a copy by any means, but a lot of simpler features and gameplay. When a compassing is made, (which is natural as Call of the Future was mostly the same as a 3D version of the older games like the Headmasters and Mystery of Convoy) it gets removed seemingly because of the mistakes made in that game. :Actually, I agree, I have no idea what you're talking about. No one's trying to "sell" the game; every statement on the page is accurate and backed up by hands-on impressions and promotional material. Also, it's hard for you to claim what a game's weaknesses are or that it's simpler than a previous release when there's NO possible way you could have played it yet. That said, however, it's very clear based on the provided footage and demos that this is a VERY different game from Call of the Future, and is more reasonably compared in its gameplay to, as it says in the article, Platinum's other titles. Comparing Devastation and CotF is like comparing Super Mario Bros. to Symphony of the Night; just because they technically fall into the same genre doesn't mean they are at all similar in their execution. And I'd hardly call CotF a "3D version of Headmasters and Mystery of Convoy"; again, they are NOTHING alike other than being based on G1. Okay, so I think I've filled in the plot the best I can, but I'm a little bit unsure about my interpretation of the ending. Spoiler alert: Here's the [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y1wNhOxOeQ&t=8m13s last scene] for those who haven't reached it on their own yet (and the stinger a little further on in the video). I'm pretty sure those are Nova Prime's specs on Teletraan in that final shot, though it's hard to derive the context of why. Wheeljack said the plan was risky; are they meant to be bringing Nova back online? If so, was that wake-up scene at the end really unknown to the rest of the cast as I stated, or were they intentionally reviving him, hence the on-screen readout? Or am I completely wrong about that being Nova on screen, and it was meant to be Prime getting a risky upgrade (i.e. infused with plasma energy), or perhaps even someone totally different like Ultra Magnus? :From the game's ending, it can be sumrised that to Hasbro, a "prequel to Combiner Wars" means a G1-based continuity where Combiners are totally set to duke it out- which is what the ending pretty firmly suggests, what with the video call of Superion and Defensor followed by the schematics for Optimus Maximus (in which Optimus says it is a "price [he] has to pay"). His first known attack was on the remnants of an Autobot force led by [[Spin-Out]], where Toxitron was 'taken prisoner' and then wiped out the soldiers. His second was attacking a factory making the ''[[Ark] (G1)|Ark]'' engines, where he used the transponder from Spin-Out's rotting head to sneak in and went on to throw down with [[Jetfire (G1)|Jetfire]]. In each place he was used, he would especially loathe any Autobot whose armor was "too shiny".

The mad scientists got complacent and when the primary stasis implant melted, they assumed Toxitron was too conditioned to have realised it. Instead, the mutant was just waiting until a resupply ship arrived at the lab and then he broke free, butchered his tormentors in a very nasty way, and almost reached the ship to escape before the secondary implant kicked in. After that, the lab was abandoned. Toxitron stood immobile and alone until, after [[Thunder Mayhem]] had destroyed Cybertron, the [[Wrecker]]s came to recruit him for a revenge mission. He'd been tortured into being a monster and now [[Impactor (G1)|Impactor]], who openly said he didn't care what Toxie had done as long as he helped fight, was offering him a chance to belong but only to a group of monsters.
