'''An experiment in combining accidentally causes the Autobots to swap personalities. Stuck in the wrong bodies, the team is called on a mission to defeat the Stunticons in a road race.'''
==Synopsis==
[[File:TRID S3 E10 DP SC 1.jpg|thumb|left|250px|''Adventure's waiting just ahead!'']]
Team Bee stands wired up to some heavily technological machinery which [[Fixit (RID)|Fixit]] thinks will ''probably'' merge them into [[Ultra Bee]]. While the others are apprehensive, [[Grimlock (RID 2015)|Grimlock]] is more interested in watching [[television]], as the [[Crown City Grand Prix]] is about to be broadcast. Fixit fires up the equipment, and the Bee Team are all heartily zapped until Fixit's console starts smoking. Nothing seems to have happened at first, but suddenly [[Drift (RID)|Drift]] starts speaking in Grimlock's voice. It's swiftly obvious the Autobots have swapped bodies — Sideswipe, now occupying [[Strongarm (RID)|Strongarm]], admires his own body from the outside, it now being occupied by Drift. Strongarm is thrilled to find she's now [[Bumblebee (WFC)|Bumblebee]] while Bee himself quickly realizes that he's been transferred into Grimlock's body. While Fixit explains that the controls are fried and he can't switch them back, Grimlock enjoys being a car for a change. Fixit believes the effect will be temporary, and Bee thinks it'll mostly be an annoyance, so long as they don't have any crises to deal with. On cue, [[Denny Clay|Denny]] calls them over to the TV — the Grand Prix has been gatecrashed by four of the [[Stunticon (Prime)|Stunticons]]. The team realize they're going to have to do something about it while still body-swapped. As Bee will be incongruous in dino form (not to mention slow), he puts Strongarm in charge of the mission to stop the 'Cons, and asks Fixit to deal with the television broadcasts so they don't blow their cover in doing so.

[[File:RiD2015 - Disordered Personalities - Casey driving.jpg|thumb|right|250px|''She's gaining on you, so you better look alive! She's busy revvin' up the powerful Mach Five!'']]
Over at the start line, current champ [[Casey (RID)|"Crasher" Casey]] sits confidently at the head of the pack. The Stunticons, behind the other racers, argue over which of them is going to win, much to [[Slashmark]]'s annoyance. As the race begins and the cars speed off, Fixit manages to cut off the television broadcast. In the lead, Casey decides the race is too easy and pops in a beginner Spanish tape to keep herself occupied. The Autobots join the race, and Grimlock immediately zooms ahead, identifying [[Heatseeker]] when the Stunticon calls him a "squishie". Strongarm tries to pull over [[Dragstrip (WFC)|Drag Strip]], who explains he intends to become "Ruler of the Roads" by winning the title. He takes Strongarm's comments about the title not being literal as an attempt to confuse him, and has [[Wildbreak]] knock her into the barrier.

Sideswipe and Drift manage to stop Slashmark, however he evades them by energizing his wheels. Drift tries to deploy his Mini-Cons before realizing he's in Sideswipe's body, and Slashmark taunts the "lawbots" before speeding away. The two Autobots give chase, though Sideswipe is having ongoing problems controlling Strongarm's sirens. Ahead, Casey starts on another lap while continuing her Spanish lesson. Grimlock confronts Drag Strip and manages to deploy [[Jetstorm (RID)|Jetstorm]] and [[Slipstream (RID)|Slipstream]], only for the pair to get a face full of Drag Strip's [[Nitro Booster|nitro-boost]] as the Stunticon speeds away. Closing in on Drag Strip and Wildbreak, Strongarm contacts the others for backup, however the others disregard her orders to her immense frustration.

[[File:TRID S3 E10 DP SC 3.jpg|thumb|left|250px|''He's a demon on wheels! He's a demon, and he's gonna be chasing after someone!'']]
Bumblebee's anxious pacing annoys Fixit, who reveals he's finished fixing the equipment. Bee immediately manages to knock the console flying with his tail.

Drag Strip and Wildbreak discuss how they're probably going to win, but Drag Strip's daydreams of taking command are cut short when they realize that Casey is ahead of them. Strongarm catches up with them and Wildbreak keeps her busy by energizing the road behind him. She again calls for backup. Grimlock is unable to come, as he's having trouble getting the Mini-Cons to undeploy, and Drift and Sideswipe are busy with Slashmark. Strongarm tries dealing with the pair herself, only to be blasted by Drag Strip's boost and ends up hitting the barrier, half-dangling over a long drop. The two Cons move in on Crasher Casey and Wildbreak unleashes a literal wave of energized road which Casey, obliviously musing that she didn't ''remember'' there being a hill at that spot, manages to ride out. As Strongarm laments the state of her mission, Grimlock arrives and helps her back onto the road. Elsewhere, Sideswipe and Drift manage to tackle Slashmark and take him down after Sideswipe blinds him with Strongarm's lights, Drift punching the Stunticon off the cliff.

[[File:TRID S3 E10 DP SC 4.jpg|thumb|right|250px|''Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer! He's a demon on wheels.'']]
As Casey heads towards the finish line, the remaining three Stunticons close in. Heatseeker unleashes a pair of guided missiles which streak towards the unaware human, until they suddenly lock on to Sideswipe and Drift coming the other way. The pair swerve around the three Stunticons, who end up being blitzed by their own missiles, leaving Casey to cross the finish line, victorious for the fifth straight year.

Back in the scrapyard, the team reports that the Stunticons all managed to get away in the confusion. Fixit once again fires up the equipment to swap everyone back. The Autobots are all zapped, but in the aftermath they're all back in their own bodies. Everything is fine again, until they discover, as Sideswipe gives Fixit a piece of his mind, that the Mini-Con's consciousness has been swapped into the control panel. While Fixit starts on one of his stories, the others go to get the parts needed for Denny to transfer him back.
"Is this truly necessary, Bumblebee?"<br>
"It is if we want to create and control the effect that merges all of us into our Ultra Bee Team Combiner form."
:—'''Drift''' discovers that '''Bumblebee''' is a [[To sell toys|salesman]] at heart

"Y'know, I may not even give the title over to [[Motormaster (WFC)|the boss]] when we get back. If ''I'm'' Ruler of the Roads, what's ''he'' gonna do about it?"<br>
"Probably run ya over, back up, and then, run ya over again."
:—'''Drag Strip''' and '''Wildbreak''' discuss Motormaster's management style

"Gee, uhh...Sorry about that, Dragstrip."<br>
"One of these days, Wildbreak. Pow! Right in the grill!"
:—'''Wildbreak''' and '''Drag Strip''' continue their Ralph-and-Ed routine.
The three rhyming Omnicon fanboys were among Autobot holdouts working with [[Wing Saber (Energon)|Wing Saber]] below the surface of Cybertron to avoid the paralytic [[Energon gas]]. While the others were delighted with Optimus Prime's arrival, believing he was there to rescue them (he wasn't), these three were more interested their idol Ironhide! When Ironhide led a team of Omnicons to liberate the [[Medical Center]] they finagled their way onto the mission despite being, by human standards, quite underaged. They panicked when confronted by live fire, but Ironhide renewed their confidence by encouraging them to "Fake it!" {{storylink|The Omega Train}}

The trio crafted custom [[Team Ironhide]] faction symbols for everyone to wear, and were being taught the fine art of the g-rated marching song by the delighted Ironhide. They found the Medical Center under siege and liberated it by force, the trio wading in with guns blazing and a surprising degree of competence. Their confidence inspired Ironhide, who broke the Decepticon line with his burning, burning, burning heart of justice. Joining with the Medical Center's patients ([[Bulkhead (Energon)|Bulkhead]], [[Downshift (Energon)|Downshift]] and [[Cliffjumper (Energon)|Cliffjumper]]) Team Ironhide headed out to rescue the wounded Optimus Prime from Galvatron. {{storylink|Decepticon Army}}

Later Team Ironhide happened across Dr. [[Brian Jones]], who had escaped his Decepticon captors, but also ran into [[Scorponok (Energon)|Scorponok]] and a swarm of giant-sized [[Insecticon (Energon)|Insecticons]].
Ignoring Ironhide's orders to stay back, the trio brazenly charged in to fight Scorponok themselves—and were instantly killed. {{storylink|Ironhide Team}}
*Red-Yellow-Blue is the color combination associated with three-man {{w|Super Sentai}}/{{w|Power Rangers|Power Ranger}} teams. This is not a coincidence.
*The trio are depicted slightly different between ''Energon'' and ''Super Link''. The most noticeable difference is ''Energon''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s depiction of them being Omnicons instead of standard Autobots. They also don't rhyme in the Japanese version of the show, which is understandable given that rhymes aren't common in Japanese word-play.
*Like many of the [[generic]]s in ''Energon'', the fanboys are a "Frankensteining" of toy-character models. Their upper torsos appear to be largely those of [[Battle Ravage]], while their upper legs and helmets are modified from their idol Ironhide. Ironhide's front windscreen has also be repurposed as a butt-flap for the the trio.
[[File:Cyberverse Lockdown.jpg|thumb|left|250px|It's your boy, Guzma!]]

Lockdown was among the Decepticons present during [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron's]] eulogy for [[Starscream (Cyberverse)|Starscream]]. When orders went out to bring Megatron [[Optimus Prime (Cyberverse)|Optimus Prime's]] head, Lockdown was forcibly drafted by [[Shockwave (Cyberverse)|Shockwave]] into sabotaging [[Soundwave (Cyberverse)|Soundwave's]] shuttle. He and [[Clobber (Cyberverse)|Clobber]], who had been placed in a similar situation, were subsequently drafted into [[Shadow Striker (Cyberverse)|Shadow Striker's]] own plot as bait. The two went outside to lament their unfair lot, only to encounter an unexpected windfall when the Autobot [[Hot Rod (Cyberverse)|Hot Rod]] appeared from a [[GroundBridge]]. Acting quickly, they captured the Autobot and brought him to Megatron, who decided to use him as a bargaining chip. Unfortunately for them, Hot Rod broke free of his restraints, and their attempts to recapture him inadvertently foiled Shadow Striker's own, allowing the fugitive to escape. {{storylink|Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime}}

Lockdown was one of the Decepticons present after Megatron announced that they had found the [[AllSpark]] on Earth and cheered for their leader. {{storylink|Trials}} The Decepticons ultimately claimed the artifact. When Hot Rod, [[Bumblebee (Cyberverse)|Bumblebee]], and [[Cheetor (Cyberverse)|Cheetor]] broke into the ''Nemesis'', Clobber and Lockdown attempted to stop the Autobots were overpowered and quickly sent fleeing. {{storylink|Dark Birth}} Although the Decepticons believed Starscream dead, the treacherous flier soon resurfaced and seized the AllSpark with a cadre of Decepticons. While Megatron's Decepticons negotiated a truce, Lockdown and Clobber stuck to the sidelines. When talks broke down, the pair were tackled and taken out by [[Rack'n'Ruin (Cyberverse)|Rack'n'Ruin]], who they had insulted earlier. {{storylink|Parley}}

When Starscream made his own power play with an army of [[Scraplet]]s, Lockdown was one of the many Decepticons drained of energon and paralyzed by the creatures, only to be later restored by a burst of AllSpark energy. {{storylink|Starscream's Children}} During his escape from the ''Nemesis'', [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]] slipped past Lockdown and Clobber, who were complaining about the unsanitary conditions aboard their ship. {{storylink|Secret Science}}

Lockdown took part in an attempt to take down the AllSpark-empowered Starscream, but, like the other Autobots and Decepticons, was paralyzed and nearly had his [[spark]] extracted by Starscream before Optimus was able to use the [[Matrix of Leadership]] to blast the artifact free from Starscream's systems. The Decepticons were nearly overwhelmed by the feral Scraplets until Shockwave intervened. With the chamber about to collapse, the Decepticons were forced to relinquish both Starscream and the AllSpark to the Autobots and retreat. {{storylink|I Am The Allspark}}

Lockdown returned to Cybertron along with the other Decepticons and took part in the subsequent battle against the Autobots, during which he assaulted [[Kup (Cyberverse)|Kup]] only to get blasted by [[Whirl (Cyberverse)|Whirl]]. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron II}}

Lockdown was another victim caught in the Quintesson's loop. Clobber attempted to get through to him, and transform. However, Lockdown was to interested in the parade, to hear Clobber's pleas. {{storylink|The Dead End}}
After being freed from the Loop, Lockdown was apart of the resistance to take down the Quintesson's, and proceeded to take part in training simulations, to help build teamwork between the Autobots and Decepticons. He, along with [[Arcee (Cyberverse)|Arcee]], took part in firing heavy artillery against the Quintesson's forces. {{storylink|The Alliance}}
The alliance attempted another strike against defeating the Quintessons, by turning off [[Iaconus|Iaconus]]'s cloaking module, having the Quintesson's be focused on taking down Iaconus, leaving their ship unguarded. Lockdown was one of the many bots who remained behind, to fend off Quintesson attackers within Iaconus.{{storylink|The Judge (episode)|The Judge}}
Upon the destruction of the Quintesson [[Judge (Cyberverse)|Judge]], and the Quintesson ship, Starscream, now a Quintesson Judge himself, rose from the destruction of the ship to put an end to the alliance's short lived victory. Lockdown was among the bots to take shots at Starscream, to no effect. Quickly being taken down, and taken prisoner by Starscream. {{storylink|The End Of The Universe I}}

With the destruction of the Quintessons threat, the Autobots and Decepticons established a peace treaty, which resulted in the segregation of Cybertron between the factions. Lockdown was responsible for being part of border patrol for the Decepticons side of the wall. While the now turned Autobot, Clobber took part in the Autobot's side of the wall. Both took part in friendly conversation, both of which asking if either received any of the multiversal powers Megatron had acquired, and shared to some bots, in defeating the Quintessons. Neither did, with Bumblebee dropping by, both were eager to see his new found powers. Both were amazed, before Lockdown realized Bumblebee had gone over the wall, and quickly snarked at Clobber that he wasn't allowed to let Autobots over the wall. {{storylink|Enemy Line}}

At the border, Lockdown and a Decepticon soldier notice a cloud of dust from the Autobot side. Upon realizing it to be a stampede, they retreat in fear. It turns out to be a distraction ordered by Optimus Prime, who leads a strike team into Croaton City with the goal of destroying Megatron's Matrix.
{{storylink|Silent Strike}}

==Notes==
*Lockdown's design is influenced by his Generation 1 [[Lockdown (G1)|namesake]]'s appearance in the ''[[Transformers: Earth Wars|Earth Wars]]'' mobile game. This is evident by the position his card hood, headlights, and bumper on his shoulders in robot mode.
*Despite never transforming in the cartoon, Lockdown's vehicle mode is implied to be a muscle car similar to his original [[Lockdown (Animated)|namesake]] from ''[[Transformers Animated (franchise)|Transformers Animated]]''.
When the [[Decepticon]]s tracked the [[AllSpark]] to [[Earth]], [[Starscream (Cyberverse)|Starscream]] sent Slipstream to scout the organic planet while he gathered his fleet. {{storylink|Fractured}} In their early clashes with the Autobots, Slipstream accompanied [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]] in locating [[Decepticon scout ship|their stolen ship]], which was currently in the possession of the Autobots Bumblebee and [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]]. The three Seekers were eventually defeated and buried in snow by Windblade. {{storylink|Whiteout}}

When the Decepticons caught up with their shuttle, Slipstream engaged it in a dogfight only to be shot down. {{storylink|Terminal Velocity}} Using her own ship, Slipstream had another go at it. During the fight, Bumblebee jumped onto Slipstream's craft and blasted the cockpit with a [[triple-barrel ion shoulder cannon]] sending the Seeker spiralling towards Earth. {{storylink|Maccadam's}}
[[Shockwave (Cyberverse)|Shockwave]] eventually interfered, trapping Bumblebee in a fake memory and telling Slipstream to retrieve the stolen ship. With the vessel now under her remote control, Slipstream used it to harass Windblade before Bumblebee triggered its self-destruct and allowed the Autobot duo to escape. {{storylink|Sabotage}}

The Seekers soon came across [[Teletraan-X (Cyberverse)|Teletraan-X]] and used the drone to bait a trap for the Autobots. Unfortunately for them, the drone's protocols led to it attacking them allowing Bumblebee, the only one who could access Teletraan, to escape. Undeterred, Slipstream ordered Windblade restrained. {{storylink|Teletraan-X (episode)|Teletraan-X}}

[[File:Slipstream after looking through Windblade's memories.jpg|thumb|300px|"Triton's daughter will be mine, and then I'll make him writhe. I'll see him wriggle like a worm on a hook!"]]
Using a [[cortical psychic patch]], Slipstream tried to gain useful information from Windblade to avail, only succeeding in triggering a power surge that knocked out all the Decepticons. When Slipstream awoke, she found Starscream and Shockwave waiting for her. While the former had rallied the [[Decepticon fleet]] and was on his way, the latter directed Slipstream to repair Earth's [[space bridge]]. {{storylink|Siloed}}

When Shockwave arrived, he dressed down Slipstream before revealing his plan to use [[magnetic disruptor]]s to destroy Earth's geomagnetic field and cleanse the planet of organic life. Slipstream led the ship operating at the [[Arctic|North Pole]] only for the Autobots, now bolstered by [[Grimlock (Cyberverse)|Grimlock]] to destroy the craft. {{storylink|The Extinction Event}}

It wasn't all bad though. One of [[Shockwave's drones]] had managed to tail the Autobots, leading the Decepticons to [[Mount St. Hilary]], the [[Ark (Cyberverse)|''Ark'']]<nowiki>'</nowiki>s resting point. After receiving another beat down from Windblade, Starscream called to let her know the fleet was approaching Earth only for Slipstream to reveal Shockwave had already arrived much to the Air Commander's ire. {{storylink|Awaken Sleeping Giants}}

After some more failed melee combat, the Decepticons tried to use the last magnetic disruptor to destroy the ''Ark'' only for the vessel to be reactivated in time to defend itself. With the crew awoken, the Earth-bound Decepticons regrouped with Starscream's fleet. {{storylink|Eruption}}

Some time later, the Decepticons attempted to turn a [[Moon (moon)|moon]]-based [[Planet Smasher]] on Earth, the Seekers serving as the air defence for the weapon before Grimlock tossed them around. Despite [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron]] calling Starscream for air support, the SIC led the group beneath the Planet Smasher's [[force field]], hoping that the Autobots would destroy the warlord, only to find he'd survived. When Starscream tried to blame Slipstream for his lack of his reinforcements, Megatron backhanded him and named Slipstream the new leader of the Seekers. {{storylink|Sea of Tranquility}}

When the Planet Smasher was destroyed, the Decepticons fled to an underground bunker where Shockwave activated a set of [[planetary engine]]s, intending to slam the moon into the Earth so they could fish the AllSpark out of the debris field. As Megatron attempted to order Slipstream to guard the [[Nemesis (Cyberverse)|''Nemesis'']], his injured leg caused him to collapse. Before aid could be rendered, Starscream mercilessly attacked Megatron, seemingly killing him and declaring himself [[Decepticon leader]], ordering a retreat back to the ''Nemesis'' when the Autobots neared the control room. Aboard ship, Slipstream remained in the hangar bay with her troops before Starscream crashed through the wall, hurled by a furious and still alive Megatron who killed the traitor and dumped his corpse on the lunar surface before ordering the ''Nemesis'' elsewhere. {{storylink|Bad Moon Rising}}

Shortly after, the Decepticons held a ceremony eulogizing Starscream for the benefit of the people of Earth, which was directly followed by Megatron offering the now vacant position of second-in-command to whoever could bring him the head of Optimus Prime. As the other Decepticons hurried off the bridge, Megatron briefly detained Slipstream to remind her of how useful and valuable leadership of the Seekers could be, along with a pointed reminded not to squander the opportunity. The message loud and clear, Slipstream hurried to the hangar bay to issue marching orders, only to discover the bay was empty except for Thundercracker. Slipstream then spent most of the day searching the ship for her missing troops until she finally discovered a group of them carrying [[Vector Sigma]] out of Shockwave's lab. As she was demanding an explanation, the Autobot [[Hot Rod (Cyberverse)|Hot Rod]] bowled her over as he escaped the ''Nemesis'', and by the time she recovered the Seekers were gone.
{{storylink|Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime}}

Annoyed by this, Slipstream pursued the Seekers by following their tracker chips' signal. She was briefly thrown off the trail when she discovered they'd discarded the trackers, but caught the trail of their energon signatures instead, leading her to the silo they'd previously used to hold Windblade captive. She threatened to execute the lot of them and demanded to know what was going on, only to be met by their true leader: Starscream, having just returned from seizing the AllSpark! {{storylink|Trials}}

Falling back in line with the others, Slipstream listened to Starscream's claims of having journeyed to the AllSpark and back following his death at the hands of Megatron. She was much less enthused when Starscream revealed his endgame: by liberating all sparks from all combatants so they could become one with the AllSpark for eternity, he would bring an end to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Her appeals to the other Seekers that he'd gone mad went unheard, even more so when he used the AllSpark to create [[spark armor]] for himself. She resorted to trying to steal the AllSpark while Starscream was distracted, but he quickly knocked her aside. Rather than finish her, Starscream offered his hand instead, asking her to wait and see what he could do with the AllSpark. Any lingering trust or belief she had in him was finally extinguished when he used Vector Sigma and the AllSpark to create [[Scraplet|monstrosities]]. {{storylink|Dark Birth}}

When Starscream addressed several of the newly created monsters as [[Solus Prime]], [[The Fallen|Megatronus]] and [[Zeta Prime (Cyberverse)|Zeta Prime]], that was the last straw. Assuring Starscream she would share the truth of his insanity with the world, Slipstream fled the silo with both creatures and Seekers in pursuit. Despite her arm being disabled by a savage bite from one of the monsters, she successfully escaped. Returning to the ''Nemesis'', Slipstream approached Soundwave to warn him of the threat, but Soundwave, thinking her to be a traitor like the other Seekers, attacked her instead. She managed to fight him off and flee, looking for someone else to warn. Eventually meeting her old enemy Windblade, her desperate plea was enough to move Windblade into believing her. Tragically, before they can do anything else, she was stabbed in the back by [[Bludgeon (Cyberverse)|Bludgeon]], triggering a short but sharp battle that derailed the peace talks that were ongoing at the time. As the ''Nemesis'' departed and the peace talks lay in ruin, Slipstream's wounds proved fatal and she perished. {{storylink|Parley}}

Windblade attempted to avenge Slipstream by trying to assassinate Bludgeon, but she nearly lost her own life before a last-minute rescue by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]]. {{storylink|Secret Science}} Slipstream was eventually avenged when Windblade and Wheeljack used weaponized [[Transwarp|unspace]] material to imprison Bludgeon between universes along with Vector Sigma. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron IV}}
Slipstream, along with her seekers manage to take Grimlock captive. Bumblebee, and Windblade arrive to save their friend, only to find themselves in a quarrel with Slipstream, and her Seekers. With the Autobots victorious, Slipstream flees the city. Slipstream later ambushes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Windblade, after Megatron has took control of the Allspark. The Autobots prove to be victorious, with Slipstream making a tactical retreat once again. When the Autobots return to Central City in an attempt to use the Space Bridge at the museum. Unlike the other Decepticons, Slipstream did not return home to Cybertron. Instead, her, and her Seeker squadron were tasked to remain on Earth for Energon harvesting. Slipstream makes a final stand, with her Seeker squadron. Despite everything, the Autobots overcome Slipstream, and her Seekers. Upon defeat, Slipstream pleads for mercy, with Windblade responding by ordering her to leave Earth alone. The spared, and humiliated, Slipstream begrudgingly does as ordered. When the [[Decepticon]]s tracked the [[AllSpark]] to [[Earth]], [[Starscream (Cyberverse)|Starscream]] sent Slipstream to scout the organic planet while he gathered his fleet. {{storylink|Fractured}} In their early clashes with the Autobots, Slipstream accompanied [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]] in locating [[Decepticon scout ship|their stolen ship]], which was currently in the possession of the Autobots Bumblebee and [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]]. The three Seekers were eventually defeated and buried in snow by Windblade. {{storylink|Whiteout}}

When the Decepticons caught up with their shuttle, Slipstream engaged it in a dogfight only to be shot down. {{storylink|Terminal Velocity}} Using her own ship, Slipstream had another go at it. During the fight, Bumblebee jumped onto Slipstream's craft and blasted the cockpit with a [[triple-barrel ion shoulder cannon]] sending the Seeker spiralling towards Earth. {{storylink|Maccadam's}}
[[Shockwave (Cyberverse)|Shockwave]] eventually interfered, trapping Bumblebee in a fake memory and telling Slipstream to retrieve the stolen ship. With the vessel now under her remote control, Slipstream used it to harass Windblade before Bumblebee triggered its self-destruct and allowed the Autobot duo to escape. {{storylink|Sabotage}}

The Seekers soon came across [[Teletraan-X (Cyberverse)|Teletraan-X]] and used the drone to bait a trap for the Autobots. Unfortunately for them, the drone's protocols led to it attacking them allowing Bumblebee, the only one who could access Teletraan, to escape. Undeterred, Slipstream ordered Windblade restrained. {{storylink|Teletraan-X (episode)|Teletraan-X}}

[[File:Slipstream after looking through Windblade's memories.jpg|thumb|300px|"Triton's daughter will be mine, and then I'll make him writhe. I'll see him wriggle like a worm on a hook!"]]
Using a [[cortical psychic patch]], Slipstream tried to gain useful information from Windblade to avail, only succeeding in triggering a power surge that knocked out all the Decepticons. When Slipstream awoke, she found Starscream and Shockwave waiting for her. While the former had rallied the [[Decepticon fleet]] and was on his way, the latter directed Slipstream to repair Earth's [[space bridge]]. {{storylink|Siloed}}

When Shockwave arrived, he dressed down Slipstream before revealing his plan to use [[magnetic disruptor]]s to destroy Earth's geomagnetic field and cleanse the planet of organic life. Slipstream led the ship operating at the [[Arctic|North Pole]] only for the Autobots, now bolstered by [[Grimlock (Cyberverse)|Grimlock]] to destroy the craft. {{storylink|The Extinction Event}}

It wasn't all bad though. One of [[Shockwave's drones]] had managed to tail the Autobots, leading the Decepticons to [[Mount St. Hilary]], the [[Ark (Cyberverse)|''Ark'']]<nowiki>'</nowiki>s resting point. After receiving another beat down from Windblade, Starscream called to let her know the fleet was approaching Earth only for Slipstream to reveal Shockwave had already arrived much to the Air Commander's ire. {{storylink|Awaken Sleeping Giants}}

After some more failed melee combat, the Decepticons tried to use the last magnetic disruptor to destroy the ''Ark'' only for the vessel to be reactivated in time to defend itself. With the crew awoken, the Earth-bound Decepticons regrouped with Starscream's fleet. {{storylink|Eruption}}

Some time later, the Decepticons attempted to turn a [[Moon (moon)|moon]]-based [[Planet Smasher]] on Earth, the Seekers serving as the air defence for the weapon before Grimlock tossed them around. Despite [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron]] calling Starscream for air support, the SIC led the group beneath the Planet Smasher's [[force field]], hoping that the Autobots would destroy the warlord, only to find he'd survived. When Starscream tried to blame Slipstream for his lack of his reinforcements, Megatron backhanded him and named Slipstream the new leader of the Seekers. {{storylink|Sea of Tranquility}}

When the Planet Smasher was destroyed, the Decepticons fled to an underground bunker where Shockwave activated a set of [[planetary engine]]s, intending to slam the moon into the Earth so they could fish the AllSpark out of the debris field. As Megatron attempted to order Slipstream to guard the [[Nemesis (Cyberverse)|''Nemesis'']], his injured leg caused him to collapse. Before aid could be rendered, Starscream mercilessly attacked Megatron, seemingly killing him and declaring himself [[Decepticon leader]], ordering a retreat back to the ''Nemesis'' when the Autobots neared the control room. Aboard ship, Slipstream remained in the hangar bay with her troops before Starscream crashed through the wall, hurled by a furious and still alive Megatron who killed the traitor and dumped his corpse on the lunar surface before ordering the ''Nemesis'' elsewhere. {{storylink|Bad Moon Rising}}

{{storylink|Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime}}

Annoyed by this, Slipstream pursued the Seekers by following their tracker chips' signal. She was briefly thrown off the trail when she discovered they'd discarded the trackers, but caught the trail of their energon signatures instead, leading her to the silo they'd previously used to hold Windblade captive. She threatened to execute the lot of them and demanded to know what was going on, only to be met by their true leader: Starscream, having just returned from seizing the AllSpark! {{storylink|Trials}}

Falling back in line with the others, Slipstream listened to Starscream's claims of having journeyed to the AllSpark and back following his death at the hands of Megatron. She was much less enthused when Starscream revealed his endgame: by liberating all sparks from all combatants so they could become one with the AllSpark for eternity, he would bring an end to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Her appeals to the other Seekers that he'd gone mad went unheard, even more so when he used the AllSpark to create [[spark armor]] for himself. She resorted to trying to steal the AllSpark while Starscream was distracted, but he quickly knocked her aside. Rather than finish her, Starscream offered his hand instead, asking her to wait and see what he could do with the AllSpark. Any lingering trust or belief she had in him was finally extinguished when he used Vector Sigma and the AllSpark to create [[Scraplet|monstrosities]]. {{storylink|Dark Birth}}

When Starscream addressed several of the newly created monsters as [[Solus Prime]], [[The Fallen|Megatronus]] and [[Zeta Prime (Cyberverse)|Zeta Prime]], that was the last straw. Assuring Starscream she would share the truth of his insanity with the world, Slipstream fled the silo with both creatures and Seekers in pursuit. Despite her arm being disabled by a savage bite from one of the monsters, she successfully escaped. Returning to the ''Nemesis'', Slipstream approached Soundwave to warn him of the threat, but Soundwave, thinking her to be a traitor like the other Seekers, attacked her instead. She managed to fight him off and flee, looking for someone else to warn. Eventually meeting her old enemy Windblade, her desperate plea was enough to move Windblade into believing her. Tragically, before they can do anything else, she was stabbed in the back by [[Bludgeon (Cyberverse)|Bludgeon]], triggering a short but sharp battle that derailed the peace talks that were ongoing at the time. As the ''Nemesis'' departed and the peace talks lay in ruin, Slipstream's wounds proved fatal and she perished. {{storylink|Parley}}

Windblade attempted to avenge Slipstream by trying to assassinate Bludgeon, but she nearly lost her own life before a last-minute rescue by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]]. {{storylink|Secret Science}} Slipstream was eventually avenged when Windblade and Wheeljack used weaponized [[Transwarp|unspace]] material to imprison Bludgeon between universes along with Vector Sigma. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron IV}}
Moments after the events of Eruption, Slipstream took part in the invasion of Central City. Slipstream, along with her seekers manage to take Grimlock captive. Bumblebee, and Windblade arrive to save their friend, only to find themselves in a quarrel with Slipstream, and her Seekers. With the Autobots victorious, Slipstream flees the city. Slipstream later ambushes Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Windblade, after Megatron has took control of the Allspark. The Autobots prove to be victorious, with Slipstream making a tactical retreat once again. When the Autobots return to Central City in an attempt to use the Space Bridge at the museum. Unlike the other Decepticons, Slipstream did not return home to Cybertron. Instead, her, and her Seeker squadron were tasked to remain on Earth for Energon harvesting. Slipstream makes a final stand, with her Seeker squadron. Despite everything, the Autobots overcome Slipstream, and her Seekers. Upon defeat, Slipstream pleads for mercy, with Windblade responding by ordering her to leave Earth alone. The spared, and humiliated, Slipstream begrudgingly does as ordered. Leaving the Autobots to activate the Space Bridge, and return home.
After receiving another beat down from Windblade, Starscream called to let her know the fleet was approaching Earth only for Slipstream to reveal Shockwave had already arrived much to the Air Commander's ire. {{storylink|Awaken Sleeping Giants}}

After some more failed melee combat, the Decepticons tried to use the last magnetic disruptor to destroy the ''Ark'' only for the vessel to be reactivated in time to defend itself. With the crew awoken, the Earth-bound Decepticons regrouped with Starscream's fleet. {{storylink|Eruption}}

Some time later, the Decepticons attempted to turn a [[Moon (moon)|moon]]-based [[Planet Smasher]] on Earth, the Seekers serving as the air defence for the weapon before Grimlock tossed them around. Despite [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron]] calling Starscream for air support, the SIC led the group beneath the Planet Smasher's [[force field]], hoping that the Autobots would destroy the warlord, only to find he'd survived. When Starscream tried to blame Slipstream for his lack of his reinforcements, Megatron backhanded him and named Slipstream the new leader of the Seekers. {{storylink|Sea of Tranquility}}

When the Planet Smasher was destroyed, the Decepticons fled to an underground bunker where Shockwave activated a set of [[planetary engine]]s, intending to slam the moon into the Earth so they could fish the AllSpark out of the debris field. As Megatron attempted to order Slipstream to guard the [[Nemesis (Cyberverse)|''Nemesis'']], his injured leg caused him to collapse. Before aid could be rendered, Starscream mercilessly attacked Megatron, seemingly killing him and declaring himself [[Decepticon leader]], ordering a retreat back to the ''Nemesis'' when the Autobots neared the control room. Aboard ship, Slipstream remained in the hangar bay with her troops before Starscream crashed through the wall, hurled by a furious and still alive Megatron who killed the traitor and dumped his corpse on the lunar surface before ordering the ''Nemesis'' elsewhere. {{storylink|Bad Moon Rising}}

{{storylink|Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime}}

Annoyed by this, Slipstream pursued the Seekers by following their tracker chips' signal. She was briefly thrown off the trail when she discovered they'd discarded the trackers, but caught the trail of their energon signatures instead, leading her to the silo they'd previously used to hold Windblade captive. She threatened to execute the lot of them and demanded to know what was going on, only to be met by their true leader: Starscream, having just returned from seizing the AllSpark! {{storylink|Trials}}

Falling back in line with the others, Slipstream listened to Starscream's claims of having journeyed to the AllSpark and back following his death at the hands of Megatron. She was much less enthused when Starscream revealed his endgame: by liberating all sparks from all combatants so they could become one with the AllSpark for eternity, he would bring an end to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Her appeals to the other Seekers that he'd gone mad went unheard, even more so when he used the AllSpark to create [[spark armor]] for himself. She resorted to trying to steal the AllSpark while Starscream was distracted, but he quickly knocked her aside. Rather than finish her, Starscream offered his hand instead, asking her to wait and see what he could do with the AllSpark. Any lingering trust or belief she had in him was finally extinguished when he used Vector Sigma and the AllSpark to create [[Scraplet|monstrosities]]. {{storylink|Dark Birth}}

When Starscream addressed several of the newly created monsters as [[Solus Prime]], [[The Fallen|Megatronus]] and [[Zeta Prime (Cyberverse)|Zeta Prime]], that was the last straw. Assuring Starscream she would share the truth of his insanity with the world, Slipstream fled the silo with both creatures and Seekers in pursuit. Despite her arm being disabled by a savage bite from one of the monsters, she successfully escaped. Returning to the ''Nemesis'', Slipstream approached Soundwave to warn him of the threat, but Soundwave, thinking her to be a traitor like the other Seekers, attacked her instead. She managed to fight him off and flee, looking for someone else to warn. Eventually meeting her old enemy Windblade, her desperate plea was enough to move Windblade into believing her. Tragically, before they can do anything else, she was stabbed in the back by [[Bludgeon (Cyberverse)|Bludgeon]], triggering a short but sharp battle that derailed the peace talks that were ongoing at the time. As the ''Nemesis'' departed and the peace talks lay in ruin, Slipstream's wounds proved fatal and she perished. {{storylink|Parley}}

Windblade attempted to avenge Slipstream by trying to assassinate Bludgeon, but she nearly lost her own life before a last-minute rescue by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]]. {{storylink|Secret Science}} Slipstream was eventually avenged when Windblade and Wheeljack used weaponized [[Transwarp|unspace]] material to imprison Bludgeon between universes along with Vector Sigma. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron IV}}
Her wings swing around in a spring loaded "Wing Slice" attack attached to her waist, which can be locked in using the landing gear. :Ultra Class Slipstream is an all-new roughly Voyager-sized mold. As this toy is the first ''Cyberverse'' Slipstream toy to ''not'' share a mold with Starscream, it is also the first toy of the character to feature show-accurate robot and jet modes. She features a "Sonic Swirl" Action Attack, which unfurls a large free-spinning rotor setup from her wings to the back of her jet mode when her left arm is pushed in. As this is not sculpted to resemble some kind of energy effect or in-motion part like other Action Attacks in the line, it comes across more as an odd form of propulsion for her jet mode.

:In an odd quality control error, Slipstream's packaging refers to her with the feminine inflections of "Seeker" in Spanish and Portuguese but the masculine inflection in French.<ref>[http://bwtf.com/toyreviews/cyberverse/ultra/slipstream BWTF photo review of ''Cyberverse'' Ultra Class Slipstream, 14 May 2019]</ref>
:''[[Transformers: Cyberverse (toyline)|Cyberverse]]'' Warrior Class Slipstream is a redeco of Warrior Class [[Starscream (Cyberverse)#Warrior Class|Starscream]] and converts from robot to jet and back. Her Action Attack gimmick is activated by winding up a spring in her waist and releasing the upper part of the figure, allowing it to spin and flip out its spring-loaded wing blades with centrifugal force. The waist can be locked in place by pegging her landing gear onto a peg on her backside. Additionally, she has non-firing Null Ray blasters molded into her forearms with [[5 mm post]] hole hands.

:While her arms have articulation comparable to other ''Cyberverse'' Warrior Class toys, this mold has the unusual distinction of having its hip swivels molded together, meaning the front-to-back movement is in tandem. She also lacks knees, likely due to the entirety of the legs being cast from the same cyan plastic. Despite this otherwise restricted movement, she can splay her legs out to the sides due to hinges on her hips, allowing splits and high kicks.

:Warrior Class Slipstream is exclusive to [[Target]] stores in the United States and [[Toys"R"Us]] stores in Canada and is part of the ''[[Power of the Spark]]'' subline.
She was much less enthused when Starscream revealed his endgame: by liberating all sparks from all combatants so they could become one with the AllSpark for eternity, he would bring an end to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Her appeals to the other Seekers that he'd gone mad went unheard, even more so when he used the AllSpark to create [[spark armor]] for himself. She resorted to trying to steal the AllSpark while Starscream was distracted, but he quickly knocked her aside. Rather than finish her, Starscream offered his hand instead, asking her to wait and see what he could do with the AllSpark. Any lingering trust or belief she had in him was finally extinguished when he used Vector Sigma and the AllSpark to create [[Scraplet|monstrosities]]. {{storylink|Dark Birth}}

When Starscream addressed several of the newly created monsters as [[Solus Prime]], [[The Fallen|Megatronus]] and [[Zeta Prime (Cyberverse)|Zeta Prime]], that was the last straw. Assuring Starscream she would share the truth of his insanity with the world, Slipstream fled the silo with both creatures and Seekers in pursuit. Despite her arm being disabled by a savage bite from one of the monsters, she successfully escaped. Returning to the ''Nemesis'', Slipstream approached Soundwave to warn him of the threat, but Soundwave, thinking her to be a traitor like the other Seekers, attacked her instead. She managed to fight him off and flee, looking for someone else to warn. Eventually meeting her old enemy Windblade, her desperate plea was enough to move Windblade into believing her. Tragically, before they can do anything else, she was stabbed in the back by [[Bludgeon (Cyberverse)|Bludgeon]], triggering a short but sharp battle that derailed the peace talks that were ongoing at the time. As the ''Nemesis'' departed and the peace talks lay in ruin, Slipstream's wounds proved fatal and she perished. {{storylink|Parley}}

Windblade attempted to avenge Slipstream by trying to assassinate Bludgeon, but she nearly lost her own life before a last-minute rescue by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]]. {{storylink|Secret Science}} Slipstream was eventually avenged when Windblade and Wheeljack used weaponized [[Transwarp|unspace]] material to imprison Bludgeon between universes along with Vector Sigma. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron IV}}

'''''Transformers: Battlegrounds''''' is a video game by [[Coatsink]], released [[October 23]], [[2020]]. It is the first new ''Transformers'' game released for a home console since [[Activision]]'s previous game development license expired. Described as a "tactical warfare adventure" game, ''Battlegrounds'' is based on the ''[[Transformers: Cyberverse (franchise)|Cyberverse]]'' franchise, featuring the character designs and voice actors from the accompanying [[Transformers: Cyberverse (cartoon)|animated series]].

==Synopsis==
Set a little after the events of season one, The Decepticons begin their search for the Allspark, across the globe. In Central City, You have ignored the city evacuation mandate, and get in the crossfire of Decepticon seekers invading the city. Bumblebee, along with Teletraan X, come just in time for the rescue. Bumblebee orders the ark drone to take you to safety. Teletraan X's idea of safety is to take you straight up, away from the battlefield below. Now being a tactician, of the Autobots, you help Bumblebee navigate the abandoned city, taking down any Decepticons that stand in the way. Shadow Striker ambushes Bumblebee, still determined to end the scout's life, after all this time. Bumblebee makes short work of her, and eventually comes across Windblade. The two bots discover Grimlock is being held captive by Slipstream, and her seekers. The bots eventually manage to force Slipstream and her Seekers to retreat, rescuing Grimlock. Grimlock states he has not seen head, nor tails, of Optimus Prime, or the rest of the Autobots, ever since they seperated from the desert. The dinobot admits that their situation is rather bleak, but confirms Optimus has the Allspark. After a bit of recon, Windblade discovers Megatron is nowhere in the city, and is not leading this assault. Learning this attack was just a diversion, the trio follow Soundwave,to the capital, which leads them to Starscream. Despite him wanting otherwise, Shockwave informs him to remain to hold the city. Starscream attempts to give Windblade a chance to join the Decepticons, but is swiftly taken care of, along with the rest of the Decepticon soldiers. Forcing the Decepticons out of the city, the group heads to a desert, swarming with Decepticons. Teletraan X, and you stumble across Arcee and Wheeljack incognito. Teletraan X informs them Windblade is in need of backup, and you helping the duo navigate the desert, to rendezvous with the Caiman. The trio stumble across Shockwave, but manage to overcome him, and his drones. Bumblebee and Grimlock arrive, for Arcee to inform the crew that they have no idea where Optimus is. When the Decepticon fleet had arrived, an overwhelming amount of guilt,and anxiety forced their leader to have his troops lead them away from him, and the Allspark. From there, Optimus retreated from the scene, after a massive explosion. Teletraan X seems to have picked up an Autobot energy signature at the far side of the desert, along the way Acid Storm, Thrust, and a crew of Seekers, ambush the Autobots. Despite their best efforts, the Decepticons are defeated once again. The Autobots further deeper through the canyon, only to stumble across Shadow Striker, Roadtrap, and BlackJack. Once defeated, Shadow Striker vows revenge, and flees the scene. Upon discovering an oasis, the Autobots find the Allspark, only to be ambushed by Megatron. Megatron overwhelms the crew, and claims the Allspark for his own. Before getting a chance to finish off the Autobots, Optimus Prime swoops in, and guards the crew from Decepticon troops. Using the disoriented Prime, Megatron flees the scene, and Slipstream appears, in an attempt to defeat the Autobots. The Autobots prove to be victorious, however the Allspark is still in the hands of Megatron. The team regroups to the Rocky Mountains, and find the Decepticons are constructing the remnants of a Space Bridge. The team pushes through, a plethora of Decepticon forces such as Starscream, Dirge, Ramjet, Dead End, Hyperdrive, and lastly Shockwave. Once again the Autobots efforts prove to be futile, as the Space Bridge has been activated, and the Decepticons flee to Cybertron. Just before the Autobots can travel through as well, Offroad blows up the Space Bridge, as well as badly damaging him. Defeated, the Autobots lose hope, and almost part ways with you, until realizing a flyer that fell out of your pocket. The flyer is for a museum attraction back in Central City. Upon closer inspection, the attraction is actually a second Space Bridge. With no time to spare, the Autobots return to Central City, only to be ambushed by Slipstream, and her Seeker squadron. Slipstream and her forces, remained on Earth for Energon harvesting. The Autobots overcome Slipstream, and her Seekers, and order her to leave Earth alone. The spared, and humiliated, Slipstream leave, as ordered, leaving the Autobots to activate the Space Bridge. Wheeljack warns the team of the possibility of being trapped in un space, or being transported to a different universe altogether. Bumblebee volunteers to go in first, and manages to successfully warp back to Cybertron. However, the connection back to Earth, has been deactivated. Bumblebee makes an attempt to reativate the Space Bridge terminals, all while dealing with an upgraded Shadow Striker. Despite her best efforts, Bumblebee is successful in reactivating the Space Bridge. The rest of the Autobot troops arrive, and help to take out Shadow Striker. The defeated Shadow Striker accepts her deactivation, but the crew spare her, as Bumblebee assures her victory isn't measured by what they annihilate, but what we preserve. Shadow Striker vows vengeance against the scout, and flees. The Autobots make their way through the war torn city of Iacon, and take down the remaining forces of Decepticons.Upon reaching the Well of Vector Sigma, The Autobots are met with Starscream as well as a surplus of explosive Energon. Starscream threatens to detonate it, revealing his true colors, of taking over command of the Decepticons. The power hungry Seeker once again offers Windblade his Servo in ruling by his side, but she quickly rejects his ambitious offer, and the crew take out Starscream before he even gets a chnace to detonate the Energon. Upon enetering the well of Vector Sigma, the Autobots are greeted with Megatron prepairing the Allspark, in order to create his Perfect Decepticon army. The Autobots all team up to take down Megatron, but upon a great battle, Megatron unleashes a massive Fusion Mega Shot, taking out all the Autobots, and leaving Optimus badly damaged. The two leaders are the last to stand, and with the help of you, and the Matrix of Leadership, Optimus successfully defeats Megatron. Optimus spares Megatron, despite Megatron warning Optimus that he will not stop until Cybertron is made in his vision. Optimus vows that if tyranny rises, him, along with the Autobots will vow to fight. With Megatron defeated, and the Allspark safe from the Decepticons, Optimus thanks the Autobots, as well as you, and bid you goodbye. Back on Earth, Bumblebee, and Teletraan X return you back home, and bid you farwell. Leaving you behind, with words to remember by, stating the future starts with you!
* ''Battlegrounds'' is set in an alternate version of the [[Transformers: Cyberverse (cartoon)|''Cyberverse'' cartoon continuity]]; although it picks up where "[[Eruption]]" left off, it is otherwise largely irreconcilable with the events of that show's second season. A conversation between [[Arcee (Cyberverse)|Arcee]] and [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]] suggests that this game takes place in one of the many alternate universes that the ''Cyberverse'' cartoon repeatedly alluded to over the course of its second and third seasons.
'''The Autobots and Decepticons confront The Other One, a more powerful and tyrannical version of Megatron from another universe.'''

==Synopsis==
Within [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron]]'s [[Matrix of Leadership]], [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]] reaches the pillars that bear the names of the [[Thirteen]] [[Prime (rank)|Primes]]. From one of these pillars emerges [[Optimus Prime (Cyberverse)|Optimus Prime]], explaining her status as a psychic shard. But much to the [[cityspeaker]]'s surprise, he insists that he is not the Optimus that she knows and serves with. Seeing her confusion, Optimus gives her one simple order: destroy the Matrix.

Within [[Croaton]], Optimus recognizes the soldiers surrounding them as the [[Perfect Decepticon]]s that Megatron had dreamed of creating. [[Bumblebee (Cyberverse)|Bumblebee]] points out that it has been impossible for the tyrant have created them without manipulating the [[AllSpark]]. Megatron confirms the scout's skepticism, proclaiming that the soldiers, everything he dreamed of, were created by "the Other One." The soldiers' stillness is revealed to be the result of them waiting for their master, whose impending arrival causes [[Astrotrain (Cyberverse)|Astrotrain]] to flee. This shakes everyone out of their shock with [[Sky-Byte (Cyberverse)|Sky-Byte]] and [[Thunderhowl (Cyberverse)|Thunderhowl]] leading the charge into battle. Unfortunately, the soldiers are too powerful to be bested by standard weapons, forcing Optimus and Megatron to channel their [[multiverse]] energy and atomize the invaders. Though Optimus reiterates that the alternate Matrix must be destroyed, Megatron insists that both it and its local counterpart must be combined to fell the Other One.

Before the debate can continue, a second wave teleports in, Megatron contemptuously blasting them all away to [[Transwarp|unspace]]. Just as Megatron lowers his guard, a teleport flare appears behind him, from which steps forth the Other One, [[Megatron X (Cyberverse)|a towering black-armored alternate version of Megatron]]. Swatting away his smaller counterpart's weapon, Megatron X fatally wounds the primary Megatron and sends him flying back towards the assembled Transformers. [[Alphastrike]] attempts to avenge her master only for her artillery to be absorbed by the invader and fired back at her. As Megatron X observes the differences between this reality and his own, [[Soundwave (Cyberverse)|Soundwave]] demands to know who he is, prompting the warlord to tell his tale.

''[[Megatron Is My Hero|When Optimus Prime refused to join the Decepticons]], Megatron realized that his old friend would forever oppose him and fired a point blank round from his [[fusion cannon]], fatally wounding the newly minted Prime, and then stole the Matrix. In this reality, the [[Great War (Cyberverse)|Great War]] was quickly won by the Decepticons before Megatron used the AllSpark to create his perfect race of Decepticon warriors. Years later, when the [[Quintesson]]s sought to invade [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], Megatron destroyed their ship with a [[laser snare]], salvaging their multiversal technology from its wreckage.''

Suitably cowed, the Decepticons bow to Megatron X only for him to laugh them off before he telekinetically reclaims his Matrix, felling his counterpart in the process. Before he can bond with the talisman once again, Bumblebee steals it and races for the border. Dodging several Perfect Decepticons, the scout reaches the border but cannot breach the now hemisphere-encompassing shield. Circling for a gap to fly through, he is downed by Megatron X. Though the tyrant commends Bumblebee's effort, the arrival of Optimus causes him to reassess his priorities. Optimus instantly unleashes the power of the Matrix on the invader. Initially caught off-guard by the attack, Megatron X quickly retaliates with a blast of his own, his beam steadily overcoming Optimus'.
Within Megatron X's Matrix, Windblade, pressed on by the ghost of the alternate Optimus, unleashes her sword on the psychic pillars of the Primes, short-circuiting the talisman in the physical world and allowing Optimus to overcome his foe, immobilizing him. Getting up, Bumblebee collects Windblade's fragment as it rises from the broken tyrant's chest. As Optimus ponders what to do with Megatron X, Astrotrain arrives. Thanking the confused Optimus for his heroics, Astrotrain seizes the prone form of his old master and opens another portal into the multiverse where he intends to keep Megatron X trapped forever as revenge for his cruelty against him.

Under the light of the rising sun, [[Ratchet (Cyberverse)|Ratchet]] presents the healed Windblade to the [[Autobot]]s, to everyone's hearty delight.
==Notes==
===Continuity notes===
*The [[Tarn (DJD)|Tarn]]-esque soldiers from the previous episode are revealed to be Megatron's race of perfect Decepticons that he intended to have Vector Sigma and the AllSpark create back in "[[Megatron Is My Hero]]." However, Megatron is quick to point out that they are not his creations, given how Vector Sigma was destroyed and the AllSpark was returned to its rightful place in the [[Well of All Sparks|Well of the AllSpark]] in "[[Battle For Cybertron IV]]".
*"The Other One", first mentioned in "[[Enemy Line]]", is revealed to be none other than a more ruthless alternate Megatron from the same dimension as Astrotrain and the [[Insecticon (Cyberverse)|Insecticon]]s.
*Megatron X's timeline diverged during the third flashback of "Megatron Is My Hero", which also reveals that those events took place after Megatron killed the [[Autobot High Council|High Council]] and Optimus received the [[Matrix of Leadership]] in the [[Matrix of Leadership (episode)|eponymous episode]]. In hindsight, it reveals that Optimus split from Megatron ''because'' he murdered the council.
*Upon seeing Shadow Striker, the alternate Megatron comments that she looks like one of [[Shockwave (Cyberverse)|Shockwave]]'s experiments, referencing her reconstruction by ol' one eye in "[[Shadowstriker (episode)|Shadowstriker]]".
*Megatron X defeated his reality's version of the [[Quintesson]]s with a [[laser snare]], the same kind of device that Shockwave used to destroy the ''[[Ark (Cyberverse)|Ark]]'' back in "[[Battle For Cybertron I]]."
*Dead End is once again using his battle mask from "Enemy Line".
===Transformers references===
*[[Prima]] and [[Micronus Prime|Micronus]] are namedropped, being confirmed on-screen to be among this universe's version of the [[Thirteen]].
*Megatron quotes [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]]'s famous line from ''[[The Transformers: The Movie]]'': "One shall stand, one shall fall."

===Other trivia===
*According to [[Mae Catt]], the ''Cyberverse'' crew wanted to invert the [[The many deaths of Optimus Prime|longstanding tradition]] of killing Optimus by instead killing off the primary Megatron. However, she kind of enjoyed the ambiguity of his fate in the finished episode, rather than offering a definitive answer.<ref>"[https://shikai-the-storyteller.tumblr.com/post/613237429097365504/i-absolutely-didnt-go-back-through-and-edit-this Transformers: Cyberverse – Mae Catt Q&A Session (Unedited Edition)]"</ref>
*In an interesting blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, Soundwave and Shadow Striker can be seen celebrating Windblade's revival alongside the Autobots. According to Catt, their cameos were added in the episode by the animation team, as they were not in the script.<ref>" [https://moonbase2.libsyn.com/moonbase-2-interview-mae-catt Moonbase 2 Podcast interview with Mae Catt] "</ref>
**The fact that Soundwave and Shadow Striker are on the Autobot half of Cybertron without causing trouble suggests that Megatron's request for the split control of the planet was repealed following his maybe-death.
*The show ends with Perceptor ''still'' being blind. Guess he prefers seeing the unconventional way.

===Animation and technical errors===
*During the flashback in Megatron X's monologue, his universe's Shadow Striker is seen in her post accident model, when it is said, that Shadow Striker in that universe, never got into said accident.
*When the Decepticons kneel before Megatron X, pledging their loyalty, in the next shot Wildwheel is missing his poncho.
*When Windblade begins destroying Megatron's Matrix, she gains her wings in one shot and they disappear for the rest of the scene.
*Just before Astrotrain returns, Megatron X is missing his Decepticon emblem.
:''Slipstream is a [[Decepticon]] [[Seeker (Cyberverse)|Seeker]] from the [[Transformers: Cyberverse (franchise)|Cyberverse]] [[continuity family]].''
As the captain of an elite [[Seeker (Cyberverse)|Seeker]] unit (and later the commander), '''Slipstream''' is really good at bossing others around and even better at thinking up ways to destroy the [[Autobot]]s. When the [[Decepticon]]s tracked the [[AllSpark]] to [[Earth]], [[Starscream (Cyberverse)|Starscream]] sent Slipstream to scout the organic planet while he gathered his fleet. {{storylink|Fractured}} In their early clashes with the Autobots, Slipstream accompanied [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]] in locating [[Decepticon scout ship|their stolen ship]], which was currently in the possession of the Autobots Bumblebee and [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]]. The three Seekers were eventually defeated and buried in snow by Windblade. {{storylink|Whiteout}}

When the Decepticons caught up with their shuttle, Slipstream engaged it in a dogfight only to be shot down. {{storylink|Terminal Velocity}} Using her own ship, Slipstream had another go at it. During the fight, Bumblebee jumped onto Slipstream's craft and blasted the cockpit with a [[triple-barrel ion shoulder cannon]] sending the Seeker spiralling towards Earth. {{storylink|Maccadam's}}
[[Shockwave (Cyberverse)|Shockwave]] eventually interfered, trapping Bumblebee in a fake memory and telling Slipstream to retrieve the stolen ship. With the vessel now under her remote control, Slipstream used it to harass Windblade before Bumblebee triggered its self-destruct and allowed the Autobot duo to escape. {{storylink|Sabotage}}

The Seekers soon came across [[Teletraan-X (Cyberverse)|Teletraan-X]] and used the drone to bait a trap for the Autobots. Unfortunately for them, the drone's protocols led to it attacking them allowing Bumblebee, the only one who could access Teletraan, to escape. Undeterred, Slipstream ordered Windblade restrained. {{storylink|Teletraan-X (episode)|Teletraan-X}}

[[File:Slipstream after looking through Windblade's memories.jpg|thumb|300px|"Triton's daughter will be mine, and then I'll make him writhe. I'll see him wriggle like a worm on a hook!"]]
Using a [[cortical psychic patch]], Slipstream tried to gain useful information from Windblade to avail, only succeeding in triggering a power surge that knocked out all the Decepticons. When Slipstream awoke, she found Starscream and Shockwave waiting for her. While the former had rallied the [[Decepticon fleet]] and was on his way, the latter directed Slipstream to repair Earth's [[space bridge]].Slipstream took to belittling herself, after the awkward report, not long after trying to come in contact with her Seeker squadron. Running through the missile silo, to see why no response was gathered, clash with the now free Windblade, and clashed with her nemesis. The two engaged in a duel, with Slipstream in possession of Windblade's sword being bested proving that it's not the sword, it's the bot who uses it. Windblade managed to escape, with the help of Bumblebee, who unleashed his stinger, stunning Slipstream, to plummet down to the silo, below. {{storylink|Siloed}}

When Shockwave arrived, he dressed down Slipstream before revealing his plan to use [[magnetic disruptor]]s to destroy Earth's geomagnetic field and cleanse the planet of organic life. Slipstream led the ship operating at the [[Arctic|North Pole]] only for the Autobots, now bolstered by [[Grimlock (Cyberverse)|Grimlock]] to destroy the craft. {{storylink|The Extinction Event}}

It wasn't all bad though. One of [[Shockwave's drones]] had managed to tail the Autobots, leading the Decepticons to [[Mount St. Hilary]], the [[Ark (Cyberverse)|''Ark'']]<nowiki>'</nowiki>s resting point. After receiving another beat down from Windblade, Starscream called to let her know the fleet was approaching Earth only for Slipstream to reveal Shockwave had already arrived much to the Air Commander's ire. {{storylink|Awaken Sleeping Giants}}

After some more failed melee combat, the Decepticons tried to use the last magnetic disruptor to destroy the ''Ark'' only for the vessel to be reactivated in time to defend itself. With the crew awoken, the Earth-bound Decepticons regrouped with Starscream's fleet. {{storylink|Eruption}}

Some time later, the Decepticons attempted to turn a [[Moon (moon)|moon]]-based [[Planet Smasher]] on Earth, the Seekers serving as the air defence for the weapon before Grimlock tossed them around. Despite [[Megatron (Cyberverse)|Megatron]] calling Starscream for air support, the SIC led the group beneath the Planet Smasher's [[force field]], hoping that the Autobots would destroy the warlord, only to find he'd survived. When Starscream tried to blame Slipstream for his lack of his reinforcements, Megatron backhanded him and named Slipstream the new leader of the Seekers. {{storylink|Sea of Tranquility}}

When the Planet Smasher was destroyed, the Decepticons fled to an underground bunker where Shockwave activated a set of [[planetary engine]]s, intending to slam the moon into the Earth so they could fish the AllSpark out of the debris field. As Megatron attempted to order Slipstream to guard the [[Nemesis (Cyberverse)|''Nemesis'']], his injured leg caused him to collapse. Before aid could be rendered, Starscream mercilessly attacked Megatron, seemingly killing him and declaring himself [[Decepticon leader]], ordering a retreat back to the ''Nemesis'' when the Autobots neared the control room. Aboard ship, Slipstream remained in the hangar bay with her troops before Starscream crashed through the wall, hurled by a furious and still alive Megatron who killed the traitor and dumped his corpse on the lunar surface before ordering the ''Nemesis'' elsewhere. {{storylink|Bad Moon Rising}}

{{storylink|Bring Me The Spark Of Optimus Prime}}

Annoyed by this, Slipstream pursued the Seekers by following their tracker chips' signal. She was briefly thrown off the trail when she discovered they'd discarded the trackers, but caught the trail of their energon signatures instead, leading her to the silo they'd previously used to hold Windblade captive. She threatened to execute the lot of them and demanded to know what was going on, only to be met by their true leader: Starscream, having just returned from seizing the AllSpark! {{storylink|Trials}}

Falling back in line with the others, Slipstream listened to Starscream's claims of having journeyed to the AllSpark and back following his death at the hands of Megatron. She was much less enthused when Starscream revealed his endgame: by liberating all sparks from all combatants so they could become one with the AllSpark for eternity, he would bring an end to the Autobot/Decepticon war. Her appeals to the other Seekers that he'd gone mad went unheard, even more so when he used the AllSpark to create [[spark armor]] for himself. She resorted to trying to steal the AllSpark while Starscream was distracted, but he quickly knocked her aside. Rather than finish her, Starscream offered his hand instead, asking her to wait and see what he could do with the AllSpark. Any lingering trust or belief she had in him was finally extinguished when he used Vector Sigma and the AllSpark to create [[Scraplet|monstrosities]]. {{storylink|Dark Birth}}

When Starscream addressed several of the newly created monsters as [[Solus Prime]], [[The Fallen|Megatronus]] and [[Zeta Prime (Cyberverse)|Zeta Prime]], that was the last straw. Assuring Starscream she would share the truth of his insanity with the world, Slipstream fled the silo with both creatures and Seekers in pursuit. Despite her arm being disabled by a savage bite from one of the monsters, she successfully escaped. Returning to the ''Nemesis'', Slipstream approached Soundwave to warn him of the threat, but Soundwave, thinking her to be a traitor like the other Seekers, attacked her instead. She managed to fight him off and flee, looking for someone else to warn. Eventually meeting her old enemy Windblade, her desperate plea was enough to move Windblade into believing her. Tragically, before they can do anything else, she was stabbed in the back by [[Bludgeon (Cyberverse)|Bludgeon]], triggering a short but sharp battle that derailed the peace talks that were ongoing at the time. As the ''Nemesis'' departed and the peace talks lay in ruin, Slipstream's wounds proved fatal and she perished. {{storylink|Parley}}

Windblade attempted to avenge Slipstream by trying to assassinate Bludgeon, but she nearly lost her own life before a last-minute rescue by [[Wheeljack (Cyberverse)|Wheeljack]]. {{storylink|Secret Science}} Slipstream was eventually avenged when Windblade and Wheeljack used weaponized [[Transwarp|unspace]] material to imprison Bludgeon between universes along with Vector Sigma. {{storylink|Battle For Cybertron IV}}
