Conjunx Endura with Knock Out, Breakdown is heavier and slower than what his speed-focused people on Velocitron idealize. Since his world's entry into the Council of Worlds, he has become part of cross-planet endeavors that his Conjunx has gotten involved in. Unlike Knock Out, he goes about his life with more humility towards others.

As a relatively slow and bulky Velocitronian, Breakdown faced prejudice from his fellow Velocitronians, a fact that Moonracer mentioned as she explained the problems of Velocitronian society to Windblade. Windblade vol. 2 issue 4 The next day, Breakdown was in Delta watching the Benefit 500, and thus he cheered upon witnessing the offworlder Blurr's dazzling victory. Race Against the Light When Velocitron joined the Council of Worlds as a result of this victory, Knock Out became one of the planet's representatives and the pair emigrated to Cybertron.Choose Me Knock Out stayed on Cybertron for the sake of his conjunx, as Breakdown was happy to find a place where heavyset 'bots like him could live without facing discrimination. The Chosen One On Chosen One Day, the two took a trip to the planet's Acid Wastes. Choose Me

Some time later, he reminded Knock Out to be nice while dealing with Moonracer. 07:00:00

When a wave of undead Titans approached Cybertron, the two Velocitronians joined the efforts to repel the invaders; Knock Out using his superior speed to lure a Titan into his Conjunx's fusillade of heavy artillery. Ping Their efforts weren't enough, and the Cybertronians were soon pushed back against the Spire in the face of a seemingly endless zombie onslaught. With no other recourse, Windblade hit upon a desperate idea to force the spacebound Carcer to transform, and assembled a team to infiltrate the ship and wrest control of the Titan from its captain Elita One. Desperate Times Breakdown was partnered with Lightbright, Sparkstalker and Blurr. While searching for Titan's brain module however, they were intercepted and detained by Elita herself. Desperate Measures (Till All Are One)

Over the next few months, Breakdown landed a new job on Cybertron, becoming a lab assistant to the Autobot Wheeljack. Schismatic Following the Iron Ring's failed invasion of Cybertron and the rise of New Prysmos, First Strike issue 6, Knock Out revealed to Windblade that he'd stayed on Cybertron primarily for Breakdown's sake. Breakdown and Knock Out attended the debates together, and both participated in Windblade's victory party. The Chosen One

As part of Windblade's early maneuvers as the newly appointed leader of Cybertron, she sent the two to New Prysmos to figure out what had happened to the Talisman responsible for the creation of the alien city. As they approached the city's outskirts, Breakdown inadvertently discovered that some of the Talisman's magic had pooled beneath the city when he poked a glowing crack in the ground (like any good scientist). Exposure to magic caused his arm to crumble to dust; before this infection could consume his entire body, Wheeljack was able to amputate the arm and the two retreated to Iacon to recuperate. Breakdown was still convulsing when Kup and Ironhide arrived. His encounter with the Talisman allowed the villainous Darkling Lords to realize that Cybertronians could be easily felled by their magic. Schismatic

Once Breakdown had recovered, he and Wheeljack were able to determine why Cybertronians were so vulnerable to magic, but concluded that they were unable to come up with any workable countermeasures before the Talisman burrowed its way to Vector Sigma and remade the planet into a copy of Prysmos. They reported this news to Ironhide when he returned; when the exiled Spectral Knights arrived, the Cybertronians reluctantly agreed to an alliance to save Cybertron. Cybertron No More

After Breakdown received a new arm, Wheeljack was able to investigate the magic further, and concluded that what the Prysmosians called "magic" was gamma radiation augmented by inconsistent variances, capable of breaking down Cybertronian molecular structure. From this, Wheeljack was able to design a counter-frequency capable of neutralizing the magic, temporarily reconstituting Breakdown's old limb before it began to break down again. Breakdown pointed out that this was only a temporary stopgap, but Wheeljack concluded it was their best chance at saving Cybertron. Desperate Measures (Transformers vs. Visionaries) The pair were able to construct a counter-frequency "bomb" that would neutralize the Talisman and recruited Quickswitch to carry the weapon into the core of the planet. Good Men

Ultimately, a combination of magic and science were able to both neutralize the Talisman while also raising New Prysmos to the surface of the planet, recreating a portion of old Prysmos on Cybertron in the process. Wheeljack returned safely to Iacon, where he and Breakdown helped repair Waspinator, whose body had been magically mutated by Virulina. With the day saved, the three went out for a drink at Maccadam's. The Curtain

When Unicron attacked, Knock Out and Breakdown stood by as Optimus Prime and his fleet returned from their defeat at Caminus. Last Stand (Unicron)

When the Decepticons hatched a scheme to steal magical artifacts from Equestria, Breakdown remained behind to keep watch over the space bridge, noticing Frenzy's interest in Equestrian culture. Among the artifacts that the Decepticons recovered as a crystal that held King Sombra's spirit, which was released during a skirmish between the ponies and Decepticons. The evil unicorn cast a mind-control spell which brought several Decepticons, Breakdown among them, under his control. The Magic of Cybertron

Later on, Breakdown was part of a group working to create energon cubes from a natural energon spring when they were engaged by Knock Out, Ratchet and Rarity. Knock Out attempted to use a paralyzing electrical on Breakdown, but though it temporarily downed him it failed to release him from Sombra's control. As Breakdown revived and attempted to retaliate, Rarity held him in place and revealed that she needed Knock Out's feelings for him to free him. Knock Out gave a passionate speech about how Breakdown was his better half which Rarity channelled to cast the spell which finally freed him from Sombra's control. The Beauty of Cybertron

Breakdown was head of Security Operations for the Cybertronian colony of Velocitron, and partner to the Ascenticon racer, Knock Out. Velocitron used the Speedia 500 race to choose its First Senator, and a terrorist group called Mayhem threatened the race as a show of protest. Breakdown arranged for extra security precautions as a result of Mayhem's message. He also showed concern over the Wreckers, a stunt show of non-citizens who arrived on Velocitron to enter the Speedia. Tread & Circuits Part 2 Mayhem did attack the race, though, causing the death of at least one racer. They also hacked the emergency bandwidth, cutting Breakdown off from the other racers. Security Operations was deployed onto the race course, but several more racers were critically injured or killed, and Mayhem mostly got away. Breakdown personally intervened to shoot a Mayhem terrorist named Axer, incidentally allowing his partner Knock Out to cross the finish line and win the position of First Senator. Tread & Circuits Part 3

At the swearing in ceremony days later, Mayhem staged another attack on the Velocitronian Senate. Knock Out was shot during the raid, while Breakdown got the rest of the Senators to a safe place. One of the Wreckers named Minerva was caught holding the weapon that shot Knock Out, and so she was arrested on suspicion. Only later was it revealed that the Ascenticons, Mayhem, and Security Operations had all been co-conspirators for the renamed Decepticon movement. Knock Out was set up to win the position of First Senator by eliminating the competition, and Breakdown's own Sec-Ops agents had served as Mayhem thanks to Pretender technology. Breakdown and Knock Out had successfully conquered Velocitron for the Decepticons. Tread & Circuits Part 4
Notes
*This version of Breakdown is, of course, a continuity transplant of Prime Breakdown. While he's depicted as Velocitronian much like Cybertron Brakedown in the 2005 IDW continuity, My Little Pony/Transformers portrays Breakdown as a Decepticon like many of his namesakes.
*While he was introduced midway through Windblade vol. 2, Breakdown was left conspicuously unnamed, even being referred to only as "Knock Out's Conjunx" in the Holiday Special for some time. This was because there was another Breakdown already present in the 2005 IDW continuity.
**It wasn't until the release of the preview for Transformers vs. Visionaries #1, which included a cast page, that he was officially confirmed as being named "Breakdown".
*Mairghread Scott has confirmed from the get-go that Breakdown is Knock Out's Conjunx Endura, likely a wink at fans who believed that Prime Knock Out's relationship with his Breakdown was more than platonic.

The Curtain

*This version of Breakdown is, of course, a continuity transplant of Prime Breakdown.
However, with the lack of resources, poor morale and Starscream's weak leadership, the Decepticons largely collapsed into anarchy and resorted to cannibalism with not enough energon to go around. :In 2016, Collection 2 was re-released in a whole new production run for Dollar General stores in the US as part of a large collection of re-released Kre-O sets. But where most of these releases are nigh-identical to the originals, the re-released Micro-Changer blind-bags use the almost-entirely-retooled 2015 Kreon, with slightly-differently-hued plastics than the originals. (It is possible for some of the add-on pieces to be in the older hues.) Acid Wing's torso tampograph underwent a slight color change, replacing the dark gray with solid black, though the leg tampos remain dark gray.

:This release has no individual-identification code on the bag, requiring the buyer to use the feel-through-the-bag method or just buy blind and hope.

:Masterpiece Acid Storm is a Toys"R"Us-exclusive redeco of MP-11 Starscream (himself a heavy retool of MP-3 Starscream), but without the coronation gear. He transforms into an F-15 Eagle fighter jet, and features numerous built-in gimmicks, such as an opening panel at the top-center of the jet, adjustable thrust vectors, a sculpted radar hidden in his nosecone, and an opening canopy. In robot mode, he features missile pods hidden in his chest.

:For accessories, his non-firing cannons are attached to extending armatures so that they don't have to be removed for transformation, but they each have a 5 mm post, and can be easily detached via ball joint. He also comes with two missile racks which peg via 5 mm post onto ports on his wings, provided the cannons (which normally mount there in vehicle mode) are removed. Also included is a pilot figurine that can fit in his cockpit, and he additionally has a clip that is intended to mount underneath the cockpit and hold the Megatron gun initially included with 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime/Masterpiece MP-1 Convoy. Finally, he comes with a two-piece stand, which has two peg-holes to store two of his weapons, and can be configured for either robot or vehicle mode.

:On the sides of his cockpit, he sports tampographed names of a pilot and a co-pilot: "MSGT. [Master Sergeant] B 'Vicious' Vala" (after Hasbro designer Bobby Vala) and "SSGT. [Staff Sergeant] Etipsone" (after graffiti artist Etipsone/Hasbro designer Mark Maher).

:Acid Storm's instructions neglect to mention numerous steps of his transformation, such as the fact that the strut his nosecone is attached to is on a slide joint that allows it to slide into the cockpit more and help compact his kibble backpack. It also fails to mention the fact that he has heels hidden in compartments just in front of his thrusters, and that his tail-fin/rear wing assemblies are also on slide joints, allowing them to slide up and allow his toes and heels to both touch the surface at once. To make matters worse, his instructions only tell you how to transform him into vehicle mode... despite the fact that he's packaged in vehicle mode.

:Acid Storm, along with fellow Masterpiece, Soundwave, was first released in limited numbers in conjunction with San Diego Comic-Con 2013. Acid Storm was later made available in TakaraTomy's markets as a "USA Edition" of sorts, still exclusive to Toys"R"Us. While the figure itself was unchanged, the packaging was altered to change his ID number, among other things. Common to both versions is a designated number marking him as part of the Thrilling 30 line.

:Acid Storm's original deco would have been significantly different, such as featuring a different pilot and co-pilot ("MSGT. Bill 'Brawlin' Brawley" and "SSGT. Mark 'Tag' Maher"), and being far more busy. He would have had numerous additional tampographs, such as a reference to him being part of the "924th Rainmakers", a reference to a "Toxitron Weapons System", "Bringing the Pain Rain", and even Rainbow Dash's cutie mark!
:As a redeco of the MP-11 release, Acid Storm is likely to be plagued with the same quality control issues.

:The original MP-3 version of this mold was redecoed into MP-6 Skywarp and MP-7 Thundercracker, while the MP-11 version of this mold was also redecoed into MP-11S Sunstorm and Transformers Masterpiece Thundercracker.
Based on a Guido Guidi seeker concept for IDW Publishing, Acid Storm transforms from a hybrid F-15/F-22 style jet. He features a fold out front landing gear, 5 mm-compatible hands, and back/roof, and has 3 mm-compatible upper arm ports. He comes with two removable cannons that have both 5 mm and 3 mm pegs.
Due to the need for his limbs to quickly fold away and the size of his noggin, his robot mode is nigh-impossible to get to to stand unassisted.
:Siege "Seeker Acid Storm" is a redeco of Voyager Class Starscream from the same line, transforming from a heavily Generation 1-inspired robot to a Cybertronian "tetrajet" based on the Seekers' appearance in "More than Meets the Eye, Part 1" and back. Noticeably, said jet mode has the robot legs sticking out from the undercarriage.

: Fitting with the rest of Siege, Acid Storm has 5 mm posts on his biceps, forearms, shins, under his feet (thrusters), and wings. The 3 mm pegs on his shins, forearms, left bicep, and the tips of his Null-Rays can accommodate effects parts sold separately. Like the rest of Siege, his robot mode focuses on articulation, with double-jointed elbows, knees that bend at nearly 180 degrees, ankle rockers, and waist articulation, being notable articulation points for a Seeker toy. Being a rather heavy shellformer, he can be separated into both a wingless robot mode and a nearly complete tetrajet easily, via a friction hinge.

: Acid Storm comes in a three-pack with "Seeker Ion Storm" and "Seeker Nova Storm", based on their cartoon appearance in "Divide and Conquer". All three feature painted battle damage (the exact same layouts across all three) and the smirk-less head sculpt used by Starscream.

: This set was made available at general retail in U.S. Target stores without a prior announcement from Hasbro, then much later Entertainment Earth got a run of them in 2021.

: Interestingly, not only was this set was not released in other Hasbro markets, but TakaraTomy would eventually schedule it for release in Japan nearly two full years later. Further, the toys stock photography used versions of the toys with slightly different paint applications: for Acid Storm, he has red wing edges and a blue nosecone based on a screenshot from the original cartoon. However, the final product was the same as the Hasbro release.
*Although explicitly based on the green Rainmaker from "Divide and Conquer", Acid Storm's near-fluorescent green in the cartoon was specifically toned down to fit better into the quasi-realism of the 2008 Universe toyline.
*Acid Storm's basic camo pattern was designed by Aaron Archer, a relatively rare occurrence for the time given Archer's high hierarchical status within Hasbro. The specifics of Acid Storm's Universe deco were then fleshed out and finalized by designer Bill Rawley.
*According to Hasbro's 2008 panel, Acid Storm was originally to be named Rainmaker, then Acid Rain, but those names didn't clear legal.
*Acid Storm's "hyperion3 cannon" is based on one of the email addresses of Transformers fan Matthew Karpowich, aka "Monzo", much as Acid Storm's bio itself is based in part on him (notably the data-gathering aspect). This is the second Universe toy to shout-out to him, the first being Onslaught.
*Acid Storm's appearance in "season 1" of IDW Publishing's Robots in Disguise comic series (shared, of course, with Starscream, Skywarp, and Sunstorm) is based on the contemporary concept art of Starscream in High Moon Studios' War for Cybertron video game.
Acid Storm is something of an oddity among the Decepticons. He's more than happy to stay buried in the ranks, a largely anonymous soldier among a sea of very similar bots, rather than try and make a big name for himself. This is somewhat baffling, as his intelligence, data gathering skills, charisma and ability to manipulate localized weather patterns to create acid rain could possibly propel him up the ranks.

But for whatever reason, he stays in his role as one of the Rainmakers rather than striking out on his own.
Early in the war, Acid Storm was among the Seekers who led Orion Pax's hostage negotiation party to Bludgeon's base in the Rust Spot. Omega's Conundrum

Three years after Megatron was defeated on Earth, Acid Storm was among those Decepticons who managed to escape the human homeworld and was now under the command of the (self-proclaimed) Decepticon leader Starscream. However, with the lack of resources, poor morale and Starscream's weak leadership, the Decepticons largely collapsed into anarchy and resorted to cannibalism with not enough energon to go around. After another pointless patrol, Acid Storm and Sunstorm dejectedly sat in front of what remained of the ship that carried them to the asteroid that they now called home. All His Engines

When Hot Rod finally tracked the Decepticons to their asteroid, Acid Storm was the first one to detect the Autobot craft but did not have time to plan a counter-attack himself. While he was still panicking, Shrapnel used the base defenses to blow the Autobot out of the sky, causing pieces of it to fall on them in the process. The two Decepticons then went to search the wreckage for anything useful, only to find that Hot Rod was still alive, and heavily armed to boot. Acid Storm was quickly taken out of action by a shot to the back. Heart Like a Wheel Once Megatron was finally repaired, he took back leadership from Starscream and held an impassioned speech to Acid Storm and the others that roused their spirits once more. Spotlight: Megatron
Later, Acid Storm was one of the many Decepticons in Autobot captivity on Cybertron. The Autonomy Lesson (issue) He was put to work alongside other Decepticons in "waste reclamation". Devisive Later, Acid Storm was among a Cybertronian crowd recruited by Starscream to pressure Prowl into revealing one of his secret discoveries below ground on Cybertron. Later underground, they witnessed a Titan declare that Starscream was the Cybertronian destined to unite their whole race. He and the other Cybertronians celebrated afterwards with Starscream. Primus: All Good Things
When Megatron appeared for the first time since the war ended, Acid Storm and the other Decepticons stopped the Autobots from executing him on the spot, then realized that this was their chance to oust the Autobots and return to the good old days. Starscream tried to stop them from rioting with rousing speech about change, but Acid Storm told him to stuff it and walked off with his mates to torch some buildings. City on Fire They then marched straight to the Autobot prison, where they made short work of the guards and liberated Megatron from captivity. The Verge As Megatron led the Decepticons in a new attempt to conquer Cybertron, Acid Storm participated in the battle with the defending Autobots. Plan for Everything The battle ended with a Decepticon defeat, and all Decepticons who wouldn't renounce their faction were banished into the wilderness, including Acid Storm. Shockpoint

After the destruction of Iacon, Acid Storm became one of many down-trodden Decepticons living in a ghetto outside of Metroplex. When Optimus Prime stopped by the ghetto only to be harassed by an angry mob, Acid Storm joined in but tried to stop Sparkstalker from needlessly angering the Prime. City of Steel (issue) Acid Storm was also involved in a second attack on Prime when he visited the ghetto again. First Contact (IDW)
Elita-1 noted this was a clear statement of military intent, and warned Soundwave that everybody would know it. Rise of the Decepticons: All Fall Down

Shortly after Megatron rebranded their movement as the "Decepticons", the Rainmakers took part in the terrorist attack on the Senate. Acid Storm used his powers to melt through the ceiling, allowing the trio to ambush the crowd of unarmed senators in attendance. He was later seen tending to an overworked Ion Storm. Rise of the Decepticons: We Have Deceived You
After seizing full control of the governing body, Megatron introduced the Rainmakers to his fellow Senators before Clench reported that Sentinel Prime had escaped, the Rainmakers being deployed to down and recapture him. Catching up to the Prime, Acid Storm fired a barrage that left him damaged enough to fall victim to being sliced in two by Nova Storm. Touching down, the trio regarded the Prime's dying cries for aid before retreating when Chromia opened fire on them. War World: Prime Though the Rainmakers' murder prompted a mixed reception in the Decepticon ranks, Acid Storm was present at the gladiatorial arena when Termagax returned to denounce the Decepticons, bearing witness to Megatron contemptuously opening fire on his mentor. War World: Awakenings

Acid Storm joined Strika's Heavies and other Decepticons in an assault on the Forge Pyramid, the last major institution in Iacon unclaimed by their forces. They found the Autobots meeting with Perceptor already and tried to storm the building. Acid Storm was in the process of dissolving his way through the defenses when Nova Storm carried out a message that the plasma coolant was shutting down. Those Decepticons that had breached the defenses fled along with the Autobots as the Pyramid melted in on itself. War World: Titans

Sixshot brought forth the Rainmakers when the Decepticons journeyed out to the Sea of Rust. They had been alerted that Termagax was there, in possession of the Enigma of Combination. The Decepticons had begun to rely on the Rainmakers too much, though, as Pyra Magna had snipers on the roof of Termagax's house, prepared for their approach. Arcee and Sureshot shot down Ion Storm and Acid Storm, while Windcharger used his magnetic powers to snare Nova Storm. Lord of Misrule: Sea of Rust II
The Rainmakers later accompanied Megatron to his meeting with Exarchon. War's End Part Three The Rainmakers flew with Megatron to intercept Optimus Prime and the Autobots before they reached Darkmount. End of Time Acid Storm and many other Seekers later fought Sky Lynx during the battle of Darkmount. Transformers: Fate of Cybertron
Acid Storm accompanied Starscream to the tomb of Alpha Trion, where he outed Jetfire as a traitor for his killing of Skywarp.

He is roughly the same size as a Cyberverse Commander Class toy.
:A redeco of Alt-Modes Starscream, Acid Storm is a "super deformed" toy whose body "transforms" when the Decepticon faction symbol on his head is pulled up: in actuality, the robot body and jet mode are on alternate ends of a swing-around arm that swap places inside/outside his great big huge head.

Notes
*Acid Storm isn't solid green in every shot of "Divide and Conquer"—in the monitor shot he first appears in, he has grey intakes and a green-grey upper chest that matches his helmet. Oddly enough, the intakes are one of the areas that were left the basic green on his Universe toy.
Sea Phantom was a member of the Space Pirate Seacons, often found in the crow's nest of their ship as lookout and spotter for the pirates. This also meant he was a bit of a backseat driver for Terrormander at the wheel. On the planet Gaia, the Seacons located the amazing power source called Angolmois Energy as their latest treasure. Their excavation was detected by the Maximals, who wished to stop the pirates from pillaging the seas. Sea Phantom and his mateys formed God Neptune to defend their booty, but they were distracted when Diver and Scuba commandeered their vessel and then blew up the Angolmois Energy already on board, greatly damaging the ship. The Space Pirate Seacons!

As the Seacons began repairs on their vessel, Sea Phantom noticed Scylla was avoiding work and later disappeared altogether when they were buzzed by unknown Cybertronians. He found her pining for the Maximal squid, Scuba, and tried to bring her back to the ship. The equally smitten Bighorn mistook his intentions, and started a fight with Sea Phantom. This eventually led into another battle between the Seacons and several Maximals, but also alerted the Space Pirates to the existence of a rival faction on Gaia, the Predacons. The Tentacular Scuba

Halfshell negotiated an Angolmois Energy bounty on the Maximals' heads from Megastorm, and dispatched his team to isolate and defeat the heroes individually. Sea Phantom targeted Diver for underwater combat. Their efforts were undone largely because Megastorm tried to cheat them out of the bounty by destroying the Maximals himself with bombs, only to have each and every bomb explode in his face instead at the battle sites. The final bomb, caught on Sea Phantom's fin, threw both Megastorm and Sea Phantom back into the seas. Megastorm's Reckoning

Galvatron goaded the Seacons into making a second (unpaid) attack on the Maximals. Sea Phantom struck out at Bighorn and Scuba as they were lured out into the waters by Bighorn's crush on Scylla. The Maximals managed to regroup on a rock in the ocean, but that only made them a convenient target for the combined God Neptune. The Seacons were only driven off after the arrival of the Insectrons Bigmos and Tonbot, the Maximals' southern allies. Showdown in the Sea

When Scylla went missing, apparently shirking her duties again, Sea Phantom labored off to find her. While searching, Terrormander came by and alerted him to a transmission he intercepted between the Jointrons and Bighorn about some form of treasure. Sea Phantom and Terrormander decided to investigate and possibly steal the treasure for themselves. In actuality, the Jointrons had kidnapped Scylla as part of a complicated scheme to help Bighorn win her heart by rescuing her. Sea Phantom and Terrormander tried to steal the bagged "treasure" and, when a stray shot revealed Scylla was in the bag, fought back even harder to recover their lost teammate. Complications ensued, leading to a battle between God Neptune and Tripledacus, but ultimately Scylla was rescued and returned to her crew. Face the Setting Sun

Recognizing their poor fortunes on Gaia, Halfshell prepared his crew to depart. Learning of their intentions, Lio Convoy offered to give the Seacons the energy they needed to leave. Halfshell wouldn't take charity from the Maximal, but got Lio Convoy to agree to fight one-on-one for the energy. As Halfshell explained to Sea Phantom and his crew after the Maximal left, the "one" would be God Neptune! The Seacons arrived as God Neptune and battled Lio Convoy for the energy, but their duel was interrupted by Megastorm trying to kill Lio Convoy himself. His blast set off an Angolmois Energy chain reaction on the beach, leading the Seacons to depart, stealing Lio Convoy's energy as they ran. Sea Phantom and the crew readied the mast, and took off back into space. The Final Battle (BWII)
When the Maximals were on their way to reach the rapidly approaching Nemesis, the Seacons served as its first line of defense and forced the Maximals to crash on a nearby asteroid. There, they fought the confused Maximals. When Lio Junior, Santon, and Skywarp combined to form Magnaboss, the Seacons did their own combination in response and the two combined warriors battled. God Neptune gained the upper hand, but, with the other Maximals' help, Magnaboss was able to strike God Neptune with an Angolmois Ball, which knocked out the Seacons. Sea Phantom in particular went to the Green Planet to rob Green Tender Convoy of his Creation Matrix, succeeding despite the Green Order's efforts. Gathering in outer space, the Seacons combined into God Neptune, who then possessed the power of five colored Star Powers. God Neptune comic 1 The followed battle faced God Neptune against Megatron Omega, who blasted the combiner apart with his own Angolmois Energy. However, encouraging words from White Gallant Convoy's spirit inspired Halfshell to form the pirate gestalt again with his crew. God Neptune comic 2 After all was said and done, the Seacons were returned to their proper time by Primus. Generations Selects Special Comic Finale Part 2
While the Seacons were stuck on Gaia thanks to being lost and their photon sailer running out of energy, Sea Phantom and Terrormander were forced to suffer Scylla's love-struck excitement over "Bighorn". Captain Halfshell took more positively to Scylla's love, making the crew put on an elaborate wedding for the squid. After much ado between the real Bighorn and Scuba, Galvatron's Predacons attacked the festivities and the Seacons combined into God Neptune to fight back. He was quickly felled by Predacon firepower, but Bighorn, Scylla, and Scuba were able to send the attackers fleeing. After Scylla gave her goodbyes to her suitors, the Seacons left the planet. Realize the Forbidden Love!

Flatline is a medic, particularly adept at replacing body parts or constructing whole new bodies for his patients. Although nominally a Decepticon, Flatline takes his medical oaths very seriously and will treat any damaged Transformer who finds themselves in his care, be they Decepticon, Autobot, or otherwise.

Fiction
2005 IDW continuity
Robots in Disguise #18 (mentioned); #20 (full)
Flatline was among those who remained in Iacon after Starscream took command of the neutral population and banished both Autobots and Decepticons. When Fixit refused to leave injured Autobots behind, Starscream argued that they didn't need him since they had Flatline and Quickmix, who were both medics. Second Exodus Starscream then tasked Flatline with building him a new body, though he got annoyed when the medic started going on about why the Aerialbots were so popular. Three Monologues

Flatline got his work cut out for him after a "death wave" emitted from the Necrotitan killed and injured many of Iacon's citizens. Whilst diagnosing Starscream's injury, he let out a flippant remark about leadership that caused the stressed-out jet to snap and start yelling at him, but Flatline was too busy watching the Necrotitan stomp into the city to listen. No Exit: Dark Cybertron Chapter 6 When the Autobots returned to lend a hand, an angry Flatline confronted Fixit, outraged that he was keeping their wounded in a trailer and accusing him of failing to repair the Aerialbots or Omega Supreme before he left. Burning Bright: Dark Cybertron Chapter 8 He then got back to gathering the injured and evacuating the city. Finis Temporis: Dark Cybertron Chapter 9

In the calm that followed the Necrotitan's defeat, Flatline helped Ratchet bring a bisected Megatron in for repairs and build a new body for Arcee. The Becoming: Dark Cybertron Chapter 10 He reactivated Wheeljack after he'd spent months recovering in a CR chamber, and was among the 'bots repairing Superion when Starscream brought Wheeljack to the facility. The World of Tomorrow

Sent by Starscream to examine the fresh hot spot in Alyon, Flatline reported having found hints of someone having visited recently—that someone being Bludgeon, who soon returned and cut down Flatline as well as all the Badgeless posted there. He survived and was later involved with an experiment involving inserting one of Bludgeon's corrupted sparks into the remains of Slug. The Transformers: Salvation

Following Baron Ironblood's attack on Iacon, Flatline was of the opinion that humans—due to their brief lifespans—were intrinsically violent creatures, and was displeased that such a species would be joining the Council of Worlds. Primeless, Part 1
Flatline tended to Sideswipe at Security headquarters after a disastrous raid on a Rise facility. He was less than enthused about Sideswipe focusing on having been insulted by Shadow Striker. The Cracks Beneath Your Feet Part Four Later on, Flatline appeared at The Rise hideout tending to Shockwave's injuries. Instead of being a secret member of the terrorist cell, Flatline indicated he was ethically bound to provide aid to all Cybertronians, regardless of character, in the local version of the Hippocratic oath. Rise of the Decepticons: All Fall Down
Flatline was repairing the injured Roughstuff on a carrier that also held a captive Quake, before a mob of Ascenticon supporters started toppling the hovering platform. Rise of the Decepticons: Prisoners Flatline later helped Ratchet and Hoist repair injured Autobots. When Gutcruncher's group of Decepticons arrived to threaten their patients, Hoist managed to drive them away using repurposed diagnostic drones. Escape Part One
After the Autobots abandoned Iacon, Flatline remained behind to care for the brain-dead Ruckus and Kaskade. When the long-thought dead Provoke was discovered alive, Flatline administered to her as well, offering a diagnosis to her visiting friend Cyclonus. Lord of Misrule: Test Flight I Flatline continued to monitor Provoke and called Cyclonus back to the medbay when she awakened. Lord of Misrule: Test Flight II Later, when Ruckus unexpectedly awakened as well, Flatline was flummoxed, as it seemed medically impossible. Provoke tried to convince him otherwise, but Flatline insisted on a full examination of Ruckus. Provoke then revealed that she was actually Exarchon in disguise and required two more bodies to contain his Threefold Spark— Ruckus...and Flatline himself! Lord of Misrule: Enigmatic His spark supplanted by Exarchon, Flatline's body was used to gain access to The Rise's hideout, where Exarchon made known his return to his former lieutenant Shockwave. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Three Exarchon-as-Flatline gave his sales pitch to both Shockwave and Skywarp, trying to secure their allegiance once again. War's End Part One Ultimately, Exarchon's Flatline incarnation was melted to slag by the radiation-spewing Sunstorm. War's End Part Three
