:''Trypticon is an orbital space station in [[Decepticon]] hands from the [[Transformers: Prime]] [[continuity family]].''
[[Image:WfC-IGN-Trypticon.jpg|thumb|300px|Rawr]]
Serving as a waypoint between the bases on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]'s moons, '''''Trypticon Station''''' was captured by the [[Seeker (body-type)|Seeker]]s early in the war, and ultimately held by the Decepticons once [[Megatron (Prime)|Megatron]] had fully recruited the aerial forces that occupied it. Subsequently [[Shockwave (Prime)|Shockwave]] performed extensive upgrades to the station, including granting it an array of [[spark]]s, and guided it to sentience as the Decepticon '''Trypticon'''. In pursuit of the escaping [[Autobot]]s, Shockwave's final upgrade to Trypticon was revealed, its ability to transform into the interstellar warship known as the '''''Nemesis'''''.

==Fiction==
===''Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron''===
Prior to the war, ''Trypticon Station'' was used for research that could not be conducted planetside, including the first forays into sequestering the [[Dark Energon]] that had resulted from [[Unicron]]'s attack on the planet. Its security was seen to by the Seeker caste, which allowed [[Air Commander]] [[Starscream (Prime)|Starscream]] knowledge of its secrets. As a result, he ordered his forces to occupy it after the capture of [[Sentinel Zeta Prime]], as a bargaining chip in negotiations with Megatron and his growing Decepticon army.

During one of Starscream's absences, Megatron decided he tired of negotiations and took ''Trypticon Station'' by force. Upon Starscream's return to the station, Megatron pressed the Seeker and ultimately gained access to the facility's research on Dark Energon. However as the supplies of the substance from the initial harvest were slender, he required the means to transfer large quantities of [[energon (fuel)|energon]] to the station so that they could be converted into the rarer resource. As Trypticon Station was configured to receive fuel from the [[Geosynchronous Energon Bridge]] in [[Crystal City]], the Decepticons were able to transfer an initial supply, but not nearly enough for the ravenous rate at which they were consuming Dark Energon. This was eventually remedied by Megatron's capture of the [[Plasma energy|Plasma Energy Chamber]], which provided a nearly unlimited source of fuel directly from Cybertron's core.

After a team led by [[Optimus Prime (Prime)|Optimus Prime]] ventured into the planet's core to cut off the transfer, Megatron decided to switch tactics. Allowing Shockwave to apply the experimental knowledge he had gleaned over the course of the war, Trypticon was granted life and sentience, including the ability to shape its corridors into a dizzying array of defense drones and [[Mini-Con|Minicon]]s.

Ultimately a team of Autobots aboard the ''[[Eight Track]]'' found a gap in the station's external defenses, and managed to venture within and knock the behemoth from orbit. Victory was brief however, as Trypticon revealed a robot form and crawled from the wreckage planetside. Though initially the [[Wrecker]]s and [[Omega Supreme (Prime)|Omega Supreme]] were tasked with keeping the gargantuan Decepticon away from the ''[[Ark (Prime)|Ark]]'' launch, this proved to be in vain as Megatron boarded Trypticon along with a hand-picked crew of the Decepticon elite. Transforming into a ''Nemesis''-class battleship, Trypticon pursued the ''Ark'' to, and subsequently through, the last remaining functional [[space bridge]] in Cybertronian orbit. As the ''Ark'' emerged in unknown space, the ''Nemesis'' was nowhere within sensor range. {{storylink|Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron|Exodus}}
===''Transformers: War for Cybertron'' (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)===
:''Voice actor:'' [[Fred Tatasciore]] (English)
After Optimus Prime learned of the coming Great Shutdown, he ordered an evacuation of all Autobots. When Megatron started using his space station to blow up the ships, Optimus sent Jetfire, Air Raid, & Silverbolt to destroy the station. Flooding it with coolant while under heavy fire, the jets were about to blow it up... until they discovered that the station itself was alive. The fliers hoped that they could prevent Iacon's destruction by destroying Trypticon's conversion cog, reverting him to his robot mode. Unfortunately, for the aerial Autobots, his robot mode was a gigantic metal dinosaur. Jetfire destroyed his jetpack, and Trypticon plummeted to the planet below. Optimus, Ironhide, and Bumblebee went to investigate the crash and battled the titan, destroying his weapon's systems. After suffering heavy damage, Trypticon lost his balance, and fell into an energon lake below. {{storylink|Transformers: War for Cybertron (360/PS3/PC)|Transformers: War for Cybertron}}
:''Omega Supreme is an [[Autobot]] from the [[Generation 1 (franchise)|Generation 1]] [[continuity family]].''
'''Omega Supreme''' is one of the [[Scale|largest Autobots there is]]. He isn't much for words, preferring his massive frame and equally massive weapons to do the talking for him. Omega is the last line of defense for the Autobots, a titanic guardian robot capable of instilling fear and panic into the [[spark]]s of [[Decepticon]]s that dare face him on the field of battle.

Except [[Buzzsaw (G1)|Buzzsaw]]. Kill that little guy, it just makes him angry.

Millions of years ago, Omega Supreme was a member of the legendary [[Guardian robot]]s, and was charged with defending [[Crystal City]], the most spectacular city on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. He befriended the [[Constructicon (G1)|Constructicons]], the city's creators. However, as it would happen, the Constructicons were attacked by [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Megatron's]] [[Robo-Smasher]] and converted into [[Decepticon|Decepticons]]. The now-evil Constructicons convinced Omega to leave his post to help defend another city, and promised to look after the city in his stead. When he left, they demolished the Crystal City, to Omega Supreme's horror. He tracked them down and tried to change the builders back into Autobots, but the process was irreversible, and the treacherous Constructicons lured Omega into an ambush by the Smasher. The Robo-Smasher attacked Omega, but it was destroyed before it could convert him.

{{Quote|I lived, but changed. Since then, I feel only hate for the Constructicons.}}

Some time after these events transpired — after the launch of the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] and the ''[[Nemesis (G1)|Nemesis]]'' — the Constructicons left Cybertron in a starship and tried to locate the missing Megatron. Omega Supreme pursued them, "for millions of years, across the galaxies"; eventually, the Constructicons rejoined Megatron on [[Earth]], and Omega Supreme followed them there, still seeking revenge. {{Storylink|The Secret of Omega Supreme}}
He got his chance at revenge when the Constructicons started mining an asteroid that turned out to be the egg of an [[Asteroid bird alien|strange creature]]. Omega left the creature to its own devices, which would have resulted in it devouring [[San Francisco]]. However, [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]] convinced Omega to lead the creature back to its asteroid, which would sustain it. Omega lost his chance at revenge, but he did his duty. {{Storylink|The Secret of Omega Supreme}}

{{storylink|Kremzeek!}}

In late 1985, the Autobots used Omega Supreme to follow the Decepticons back to Cybertron when they intended to use [[Vector Sigma]] to create a new group of Decepticon warriors. After failing to stop the Decepticons from creating the [[Stunticon (G1)|Stunticons]], the Autobots created a new team of their own to counter the new threat, the [[Aerialbot (G1)|Aerialbots]]. As Omega Supreme escaped Cybertron, he was hit by weapons fire from the [[Centurion droid]]s, and once he safely disembarked his passengers on Earth, he catastrophically exploded. {{Storylink|The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1}}

[[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]], [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] and [[Sparkplug Witwicky]] connected Omega Supreme's mind to the ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]'s'' life support unit while they set about putting the giant back together. The arrogant Aerialbots, unimpressed with both the Autobots and the humans they protected, refused to help their comrades in defeating the Decepticons until their group leader [[Silverbolt (G1)|Silverbolt]] showed them how Sparkplug was able to disregard his fatigue and continue repairing Omega Supreme simply because of his concern for a friend's well being. Soon afterwards, the Aerialbots were facing defeat as [[Superion (G1)|Superion]] at the hands of the Stunticon combined form, [[Menasor (G1)|Menasor]], when the newly-repaired Omega Supreme suddenly appeared and helped them defeat the combiner and send the Decepticons packing. {{Storylink|The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2}}

He transported the Autobots and the Aerialbots back to Cybertron when they detected strange energy readings emanating from the planet. The trip expended his energy so he was forced to sit out the mission. While the Autobots dealt with a [[Kronosphere|time machine]] sending the Aerialbots to the past, the Decepticons reacted one of Omega's fellow Guardian Robots. After the Aerialbots returned from their trip through time, Silverbolt handed over some power packs they had taken from the Cybertron's Golden Age to refuel Omega. {{Storylink|War Dawn}}

After the coming of [[Unicron]], his space transport was fulfilled by [[Sky Lynx (G1)|Sky Lynx]], though he still carried out occasional missions. He transported several Autobots to Junkion to investigate the strange behaviour of the Junkions. He was shot down by [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]], [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] and the [[Sweep]]s crashing the Autobots on an asteroid. After being repaired Omega quickly turned the tide of the battle. On arriving on Junkion Omega again battled the Decepticons. He was knocked down by a blast from Galvatron's cannon mode but recovered and battled the Decepticons until Blaster asked him to bring him to altitude to counter the Quintesson signals. {{Storylink|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (episode)|The Big Broadcast of 2006}}
Almost immediately after [[Grapple]] was brought online on Earth, [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] had a secret project in mind for the architect. {{storylink|Rock and Roll-Out!}} Constructed by Grapple and given life by Prime's [[Creation Matrix]], Omega Supreme was unveiled in front of the Autobots as the Ark's last line of defense. With Omega completed, the Autobots were now free to leave the base en masse to attack the Decepticons, an advantage Optimus Prime took advantage of immediately. As the Autobots attacked the Decepticon headquarters, Megatron, unaware of Omega Supreme's birth, took [[Skywarp (G1)|Skywarp]], [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]], [[Frenzy (G1)|Frenzy]], [[Rumble (G1)|Rumble]], [[Buzzsaw (G1)|Buzzsaw]], and [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] with him to attack the Ark, which he believed to be unguarded. At first Megatron underestimated the tank and rocket ship sitting outside their target, but Omega Supreme transformed and within moments destroyed all of them one by one without pause. Laserbeak managed to escape with a wounded Megatron back to the Decepticons. {{Storylink|Command Performances!}}

''Early on in the first [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] encounter, the Autobots openly talked about siccing Omega Supreme on the Decepticons. And then '''never did so''', despite it being a smart idea and knowing it was an option.'' {{Storylink|Target: 2006}}

Though Omega Supreme continued to guard the Ark, he didn't seem to stay [[Scale|quite as huge]] as he used to be. He could soon fit into the Ark, where watched with other Autobots as Ratchet tried to repair Optimus Prime, who had fallen in battle. At Prime's funeral, Omega placed his body in his final resting place, a spaceship casket which they shot into space. {{storylink|Funeral for a Friend!}} Omega entered the Ark again when he and other high-ranking Autobots assembled to nominate Prime's replacement, and he suggested courage as a valuable trait for their imaginary candidate. When [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]] attacked, the Decepticon carpeted the entrance to the Ark with sonic scrambler mines, disabling Omega and the other Autobots within; Omega was thus unable to square off against the giant. Fortunately, they were rescued by Grimlock and the other [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]], a turn of events that persuaded him, along with the other Autobots, to support Grimlock as their new leader. {{Storylink|King of the Hill!}} Later, Omega Supreme acted as a sort of Master of Ceremonies when [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] and Grimlock were due to fight it out for Autobot leadership on the [[Moon (moon)|moon]]. He had shrunk more by then, but once [[Ratbat (G1)|Ratbat]]'s Decepticons surprise-attacked them, he seemed bigger again. Omega survived the battle seemingly uninjured. {{Storylink|Totaled!}}

Omega traveled with the rest of the Autobots to the [[Arctic]] to investigate a distress signal sent by [[Buster Witwicky (G1)|Buster Witwicky]]. Soon, they were ambushed by two Decepticon armies, and Buzzsaw cannon-blasted Omega Supreme—and [[:Image:Buzzsawyikes4.jpg|Omega actually seemed to be getting knocked over]]. This was all revealed as a plot by Starscream to divert both factions away from his attempts to absorb the powers of the [[Underbase]]. Omega traveled to [[Buenos Aires]] as part of a team led jointly by [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]] and [[Soundwave (G1)|Soundwave]]. When Fortress Maximus was in danger, he jumped to his rescue—however, the Underbase-powered Starscream, recalling his earlier defeat at Omega's hands, gleefully killed him. {{Storylink|Dark Star (issue)|Dark Star}}

Pieces of him were seen in Ratchet's repair bay. {{Storylink|Back from the Dead}}

In an alternate future of 2006, Omega Supreme flew a group of Autobots to [[Junkion (planet)|Junkion]] to investigate some strange goings-on there. He fought off alien spacecraft that were attacking the Autobots under hypnosis. He also battled with "[[Scourge (G1)|Sweeps]]" and helped disrupt a [[Quintesson]] hypnosis signal by flying [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] into the air to broadcast soothing music. {{storylink|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (issue)|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (US)}}
Some time after the departure of the Ark, Omega Supreme and [[Jetfire (G1)|Jetfire]] were part of one of the last Autobot space programs, tasked with containing the expansion of the Decepticons to other worlds and, more importantly, to find [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] and the crew of the Ark. After falling out with the other members of the operation, Jetfire and Omega detected what they thought was the energy signature of the Ark, only to be attacked by [[Scourge (G1)|a mysterious, powerful assailant]]. They ultimately ended up buried under Antarctica on Earth. {{Storylink|Original Sin}} Millions of years later, Jetfire remotely reactivated Omega Supreme in an attempt to defeat the powerful and insane [[Sunstorm (G1)|Sunstorm]]. Though Omega Supreme managed to capture the weakened Sunstorm thanks to Ratchet's energy siphon, Starscream destroyed the device to enable his own escape, reactivating Sunstorm and truly commencing the battle between the two powerhouses. Omega was ultimately successful in overpowering Sunstorm in a straight fight, but when he retracted his damaged visor in order to examine his quarry, Sunstorm blasted him right in the face with a burst of solar radiation, instantly knocking him off line. {{Storylink|The Omega Effect}} While he was recuperating from his damage, he shared [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]]'s concerns over the danger their friends were in and how useless they felt. {{Storylink|Atonement}} Omega later recovered and helped the Autobots in building [[Autobot City]]. {{Storylink|The Route of All Evil}}
Omega Supreme is largely a non-participant in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Predating the notion of factions and having survived two [[Prime (rank)|Primes]], he remains in seclusion in a specially-shielded artificial asteroid within the [[Muta-Gaath Nebula]]. Though nominally allied with the Autobots, he remains outside of the conflict for fear of escalating it due to the firepower he commands. Instead, he exists as a resource to Primes in times of doubt. However, he did participate in the Autobot/Decepticon battle to stop [[Thunderwing (G1)|Thunderwing]], alongside [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], and [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]]. {{storylink|Stormbringer issue 1}}

Omega Supreme is one of the few living Transformers to remember the first ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]''. Believing that the Transformer race should exercise a slow inner growth through intellectual contemplation, he frequently clashed with the expansionist [[Nova Prime]], who felt Cybertron's destiny lay in the conquest of other worlds. After the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s departure and Nova Prime's disappearance, Omega Supreme discovered a horrific creation of theirs: [[Monstructor (G1)|Monstructor]]. He sealed the gestalt in a dimensionally-displaced prison to prevent it from devastating Cybertron and escalating the burgeoning conflict. Centuries later, Optimus Prime came to him for advice. While the two were talking, Monstructor — somehow freed from captivity — attacked. Omega Supreme told Optimus Prime the truth about himself, Nova Prime, and Monstructor. Though Optimus Prime succeeded in defeating the gestalt, he condemned Omega Supreme for attempting to play god by simply locking them away. {{Storylink|Spotlight: Optimus Prime}}

{{Note|As he was defeated very easily by a single gestalt, this version of Omega is either considerably weaker than others, or the gestalts are considerably ''stronger'' in this continuity. Omega seems to believe the latter.}}

When the [[Dead Universe]] Transformers began attacking the Autobots, Omega confirmed the identities of Galvatron and Cyclonus for Jetfire, informing him that they too had been aboard the first ''Ark'' millions of years ago. {{Storylink|Spotlight: Hardhead}}
Omega Supreme would appear some time later, after the Decepticons had executed a galaxy-wide assault on Autobot outposts, whose security systems had all been shut down by Bombshell's use of the Headmaster technology present within Hunter O'Nion. Alerted by a presumed futile distress call sent by Hot Rod, Omega arrived on Cybertron to assist the group of Autobot survivors, who were stranded there and about to be devoured by the Swarm. Omega's arrival on the battlefield almost instantly turned the tide, and he apologised for taking so long. When questioned about his survival (Prowl stated the Decepticons would've sent an entire ''army'' to take down Omega), Omega gave a simple explanation: "I am Omega Supreme." At Prime's request, he transformed to shuttle mode, allowing the weary Autobots to board and disembark for Earth. {{Storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 10}}
We didn't see much of the fight, as [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus]] ordered him to take it somewhere else to avoid damaging the city, but in the part that we did see, Omega was winning. {{Storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 11}} At the Statue of Liberty, Omega and Devastator duked it out, before Omega took the gestalt out with a blast to the midsection, which also destroyed Lady Liberty. :Omega Supreme transforms into three individual components simultaneously: a large rocket base, a rocket and a tank. Omega Supreme's "transformation" involves very little manipulation of his moving parts. Instead, it is achieved by disassembling him into his component pieces, which are then put back together in a different configuration. The tank forms his main body, the rocket forms his forearms, the track makes up most of his legs, while the gantry forms his feet and backpack, with extra track parts forming wings. The torso features a battery-operated motor which propels the tank around the track as its turret spins and flashes with orange light, or allows Omega to walk (very slowly) forward in robot mode. This motor is extremely susceptible to failure.

:Omega Supreme was one of several toys licensed by [[Hasbro]] from a company other than [[TakaraTomy|Takara]]. In this case, and in common with [[Sky Lynx (G1)|Sky Lynx]], Omega Supreme was licensed by a company called Toybox. As a consequence, Omega Supreme was never released in [[Japan]] under the ''Transformers'' brand during the original 1980s run. In June 2008 TakaraTomy released the toy for the first time in Japan as part of their "[[Encore|Transformers Encore]]" ''Generation 1'' [[Generation 1 reissues|reissue]]. The new release was slightly [[retool]]ed to have a face (well, the top half of one) in the tank turret which becomes his head.

: The retooled version was later [[redeco]]ed as a [[Guardian robot]], available through the online [[e-Hobby]] store.
:As an [[Action Master Elite]], Omega Spreem is one of the few figures in the [[Action Master]] line that can actually transform to some extent, in this case transforming into a Cybertronian tank, though the "transformation" itself merely consists of him bending over. A button on back of the tank turret, when pressed, spins the front half of the turret. In robot mode, he carries the front of his tank as a treaded gun.
*'''Omega Supreme''' (2001)

:A three-inch tall [[plastic|PVC]] figurine of Omega Supreme was available in "Act 5" of [[TakaraTomy|Takara]]'s ''[[Super Collection Figure]]'' line (which, oddly, centered around ''[[Super-God Masterforce]]'', a series which Omega Supreme was not part of). Like all the figures in the wave, it was available as both a standard full color figure and a metallic silver "pewter" version, one of each of which was available in a standard case of twelve [[blindpacking|blindpacked]] figures. Additionally, the pewter version of Omega Supreme came packaged with a part of the [[Scorponok (G1)|BlackZarak]] collectable "build-a-figure".
:Omega Supreme's ''Super Collection Figure'' PVC was released two years later by [[Hasbro]] as part of their ''[[Heroes of Cybertron]]'' line. Like all the figures in the series, Omega was given a [[light-piping]] gimmick by being cast entirely in translucent blue plastic then painted everywhere except on his eyes and the back of his head. Part of the fifth and final wave of ''Heroes of Cybertron'', Ratchet was, unlike the Japanese figure, sold on an individual blister card and came packaged with the torso of the [[Metroplex (G1)|Metroplex]] "build-a-figure".
==Trivia==
[[Image:ToyboxMechabot-1.jpg|thumb|250px|Repaint: [[Black repaint|black]].]]
*Unlike the bulk of early Transformers that drew their molds from [[Takara]]'s ''[[Diaclone]]'' and ''[[Micro Change|Microchange]]'' toys, Omega Supreme's original form was "[http://1501bc.com/pretf/mechabot.html Super Change Robo Mechabot-1]", produced by a company called [[Toybox]] (an origin he shares with [[Sky Lynx (G1)|Sky Lynx]]). As mentioned above, he was not released in [[Japan]] under the ''Transformers'' brand during the original 1980s run, and it seems that he was not released in the United Kingdom, either; part of the reason for the latter omission is presumably due to the fact that the Mechabot-1 mold was licensed to a UK company called Grandstand and sold as [http://megatronofcybertron2.homestead.com/omegatron.html Omegatron], part of Grandstand's ''Convertors'' toyline.

*Originally, Omega Supreme was going to be named [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]], due to Hasbro wanting to use the name on something.

*Omega Supreme's name could be translated as "Last of the Best"; given his role as the "last line of defense", this is appropriate.

*Omega Supreme can seemingly launch his rocket into space, leaving the remaining parts behind at his launch base, and then transform fully back to robot mode even though a good number of his body parts are separated from the rocket by a good planetary diameter or two (if not several light years). Indeed, sometimes his rocket mode is seen to be inexplicably landing on his base mode which is already waiting at his destination, leading some to speculate that Omega (rather implausibly) has duplicate body parts on some other planets, "just in case". Some [[fanon]] alternatively holds that in cases such as these Omega's non-rocket parts actually use [[Size changing|size-changing technology]] to shrink down and travel as cargo inside his rocket mode, which are then disgorged and enlarged before landing. Another theory is that the base is transported to [[subspace]], as some believe happens with Optimus Prime's trailer. Whatever helps you sleep at night...
*Omega rarely spoke in the animated series, and then it was usually just two or three words. This, however, was by choice, as he can speak normally if prompted.
*According to the [[Letters page (Marvel_UK)|letters page]] of Marvel UK issue #285, [[External Forces!]], Omega is tougher than a "block of triple-strength [[Durabylium]] Steel."
*Omega Spreem (the name of Omega Supreme's Action Master Elite form) is actually one possible transliteration of the Katakana (i.e. Japanese) version of "Omega Supreme". Thus it is probably a typo resulting from the name "Omega Supreme" going from English to Japanese, and then back to English again. ''[[Romanization|Well]]''.

*He will be featured in the "Transformers: War For Cybertron" video game. Notably, He resembles his G1 self, with his rocket arms and tank tracks sticking out of his back.
He isn't much for words, preferring his massive frame and equally massive weapons to do the talking for him.

{{Quote|I lived, but changed. Since then, I feel only hate for the Constructicons.}}

Some time after these events transpired — after the launch of the [[Ark (G1)|Ark]] and the ''[[Nemesis (G1)|Nemesis]]'' — the Constructicons left Cybertron in a starship and tried to locate the missing Megatron. Omega Supreme pursued them, "for millions of years, across the galaxies"; eventually, the Constructicons rejoined Megatron on [[Earth]], and Omega Supreme followed them there, still seeking revenge. {{Storylink|The Secret of Omega Supreme}}
He got his chance at revenge when the Constructicons started mining an asteroid that turned out to be the egg of an [[Asteroid bird alien|strange creature]]. Omega left the creature to its own devices, which would have resulted in it devouring [[San Francisco]]. However, [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Optimus Prime]] convinced Omega to lead the creature back to its asteroid, which would sustain it. Omega lost his chance at revenge, but he did his duty. {{Storylink|The Secret of Omega Supreme}}

{{storylink|Kremzeek!}}

In late 1985, the Autobots used Omega Supreme to follow the Decepticons back to Cybertron when they intended to use [[Vector Sigma]] to create a new group of Decepticon warriors. After failing to stop the Decepticons from creating the [[Stunticon (G1)|Stunticons]], the Autobots created a new team of their own to counter the new threat, the [[Aerialbot (G1)|Aerialbots]]. As Omega Supreme escaped Cybertron, he was hit by weapons fire from the [[Centurion droid]]s, and once he safely disembarked his passengers on Earth, he catastrophically exploded. {{Storylink|The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1}}

[[Ratchet (G1)|Ratchet]], [[Wheeljack (G1)|Wheeljack]] and [[Sparkplug Witwicky]] connected Omega Supreme's mind to the ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]'s'' life support unit while they set about putting the giant back together. The arrogant Aerialbots, unimpressed with both the Autobots and the humans they protected, refused to help their comrades in defeating the Decepticons until their group leader [[Silverbolt (G1)|Silverbolt]] showed them how Sparkplug was able to disregard his fatigue and continue repairing Omega Supreme simply because of his concern for a friend's well being. Soon afterwards, the Aerialbots were facing defeat as [[Superion (G1)|Superion]] at the hands of the Stunticon combined form, [[Menasor (G1)|Menasor]], when the newly-repaired Omega Supreme suddenly appeared and helped them defeat the combiner and send the Decepticons packing. {{Storylink|The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2}}

He transported the Autobots and the Aerialbots back to Cybertron when they detected strange energy readings emanating from the planet. The trip expended his energy so he was forced to sit out the mission. While the Autobots dealt with a [[Kronosphere|time machine]] sending the Aerialbots to the past, the Decepticons reacted one of Omega's fellow Guardian Robots. After the Aerialbots returned from their trip through time, Silverbolt handed over some power packs they had taken from the Cybertron's Golden Age to refuel Omega. {{Storylink|War Dawn}}

After the coming of [[Unicron]], his space transport was fulfilled by [[Sky Lynx (G1)|Sky Lynx]], though he still carried out occasional missions. He transported several Autobots to Junkion to investigate the strange behaviour of the Junkions. He was shot down by [[Cyclonus (G1)|Cyclonus]], [[Scourge (G1)|Scourge]] and the [[Sweep]]s crashing the Autobots on an asteroid. After being repaired Omega quickly turned the tide of the battle. On arriving on Junkion Omega again battled the Decepticons. He was knocked down by a blast from Galvatron's cannon mode but recovered and battled the Decepticons until Blaster asked him to bring him to altitude to counter the Quintesson signals. {{Storylink|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (episode)|The Big Broadcast of 2006}}
Almost immediately after [[Grapple]] was brought online on Earth, [[Optimus Prime (G1)/Marvel Comics continuity|Optimus Prime]] had a secret project in mind for the architect. {{storylink|Rock and Roll-Out!}} Constructed by Grapple and given life by Prime's [[Creation Matrix]], Omega Supreme was unveiled in front of the Autobots as the Ark's last line of defense. With Omega completed, the Autobots were now free to leave the base en masse to attack the Decepticons, an advantage Optimus Prime took advantage of immediately. As the Autobots attacked the Decepticon headquarters, Megatron, unaware of Omega Supreme's birth, took [[Skywarp (G1)|Skywarp]], [[Starscream (G1)|Starscream]], [[Thundercracker (G1)|Thundercracker]], [[Frenzy (G1)|Frenzy]], [[Rumble (G1)|Rumble]], [[Buzzsaw (G1)|Buzzsaw]], and [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] with him to attack the Ark, which he believed to be unguarded. At first Megatron underestimated the tank and rocket ship sitting outside their target, but Omega Supreme transformed and within moments destroyed all of them one by one without pause. Laserbeak managed to escape with a wounded Megatron back to the Decepticons. {{Storylink|Command Performances!}}

''Early on in the first [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] encounter, the Autobots openly talked about siccing Omega Supreme on the Decepticons. And then '''never did so''', despite it being a smart idea and knowing it was an option.'' {{Storylink|Target: 2006}}
Though Omega Supreme continued to guard the Ark, he didn't seem to stay [[Scale|quite as huge]] as he used to be. He could soon fit into the Ark, where watched with other Autobots as Ratchet tried to repair Optimus Prime, who had fallen in battle. At Prime's funeral, Omega placed his body in his final resting place, a spaceship casket which they shot into space. {{storylink|Funeral for a Friend!}} Omega entered the Ark again when he and other high-ranking Autobots assembled to nominate Prime's replacement, and he suggested courage as a valuable trait for their imaginary candidate. When [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]] attacked, the Decepticon carpeted the entrance to the Ark with sonic scrambler mines, disabling Omega and the other Autobots within; Omega was thus unable to square off against the giant. Fortunately, they were rescued by Grimlock and the other [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]], a turn of events that persuaded him, along with the other Autobots, to support Grimlock as their new leader. {{Storylink|King of the Hill!}} Later, Omega Supreme acted as a sort of Master of Ceremonies when [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] and Grimlock were due to fight it out for Autobot leadership on the [[Moon (moon)|moon]]. He had shrunk more by then, but once [[Ratbat (G1)|Ratbat]]'s Decepticons surprise-attacked them, he seemed bigger again. Omega survived the battle seemingly uninjured. {{Storylink|Totaled!}}
Omega traveled with the rest of the Autobots to the [[Arctic]] to investigate a distress signal sent by [[Buster Witwicky (G1)|Buster Witwicky]]. Soon, they were ambushed by two Decepticon armies, and Buzzsaw cannon-blasted Omega Supreme—and [[:Image:Buzzsawyikes4.jpg|Omega actually seemed to be getting knocked over]]. This was all revealed as a plot by Starscream to divert both factions away from his attempts to absorb the powers of the [[Underbase]]. Omega traveled to [[Buenos Aires]] as part of a team led jointly by [[Fortress Maximus (G1)|Fortress Maximus]] and [[Soundwave (G1)|Soundwave]]. When Fortress Maximus was in danger, he jumped to his rescue—however, the Underbase-powered Starscream, recalling his earlier defeat at Omega's hands, gleefully killed him. {{Storylink|Dark Star (issue)|Dark Star}}
Pieces of him were seen in Ratchet's repair bay. {{Storylink|Back from the Dead}}
In an alternate future of 2006, Omega Supreme flew a group of Autobots to [[Junkion (planet)|Junkion]] to investigate some strange goings-on there. He fought off alien spacecraft that were attacking the Autobots under hypnosis. He also battled with "[[Scourge (G1)|Sweeps]]" and helped disrupt a [[Quintesson]] hypnosis signal by flying [[Blaster (G1)|Blaster]] into the air to broadcast soothing music. {{storylink|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (issue)|The Big Broadcast of 2006 (US)}}
Some time after the departure of the Ark, Omega Supreme and [[Jetfire (G1)|Jetfire]] were part of one of the last Autobot space programs, tasked with containing the expansion of the Decepticons to other worlds and, more importantly, to find [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] and the crew of the Ark. After falling out with the other members of the operation, Jetfire and Omega detected what they thought was the energy signature of the Ark, only to be attacked by [[Scourge (G1)|a mysterious, powerful assailant]]. They ultimately ended up buried under Antarctica on Earth. {{Storylink|Original Sin}} Millions of years later, Jetfire remotely reactivated Omega Supreme in an attempt to defeat the powerful and insane [[Sunstorm (G1)|Sunstorm]]. Though Omega Supreme managed to capture the weakened Sunstorm thanks to Ratchet's energy siphon, Starscream destroyed the device to enable his own escape, reactivating Sunstorm and truly commencing the battle between the two powerhouses. Omega was ultimately successful in overpowering Sunstorm in a straight fight, but when he retracted his damaged visor in order to examine his quarry, Sunstorm blasted him right in the face with a burst of solar radiation, instantly knocking him off line. {{Storylink|The Omega Effect}} While he was recuperating from his damage, he shared [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]]'s concerns over the danger their friends were in and how useless they felt. {{Storylink|Atonement}} Omega later recovered and helped the Autobots in building [[Autobot City]]. {{Storylink|The Route of All Evil}}

Omega Supreme is largely a non-participant in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Predating the notion of factions and having survived two [[Prime (rank)|Primes]], he remains in seclusion in a specially-shielded artificial asteroid within the [[Muta-Gaath Nebula]]. Though nominally allied with the Autobots, he remains outside of the conflict for fear of escalating it due to the firepower he commands. Instead, he exists as a resource to Primes in times of doubt. However, he did participate in the Autobot/Decepticon battle to stop [[Thunderwing (G1)|Thunderwing]], alongside [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]], and [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]]. {{storylink|Stormbringer issue 1}}

Omega Supreme is one of the few living Transformers to remember the first ''[[Ark (G1)|Ark]]''. Believing that the Transformer race should exercise a slow inner growth through intellectual contemplation, he frequently clashed with the expansionist [[Nova Prime]], who felt Cybertron's destiny lay in the conquest of other worlds. After the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s departure and Nova Prime's disappearance, Omega Supreme discovered a horrific creation of theirs: [[Monstructor (G1)|Monstructor]]. He sealed the gestalt in a dimensionally-displaced prison to prevent it from devastating Cybertron and escalating the burgeoning conflict. Centuries later, Optimus Prime came to him for advice. While the two were talking, Monstructor — somehow freed from captivity — attacked. Omega Supreme told Optimus Prime the truth about himself, Nova Prime, and Monstructor. Though Optimus Prime succeeded in defeating the gestalt, he condemned Omega Supreme for attempting to play god by simply locking them away. {{Storylink|Spotlight: Optimus Prime}}

{{Note|As he was defeated very easily by a single gestalt, this version of Omega is either considerably weaker than others, or the gestalts are considerably ''stronger'' in this continuity. Omega seems to believe the latter.}}

When the [[Dead Universe]] Transformers began attacking the Autobots, Omega confirmed the identities of Galvatron and Cyclonus for Jetfire, informing him that they too had been aboard the first ''Ark'' millions of years ago. {{Storylink|Spotlight: Hardhead}}

[[Image:Omega Arrives in AHM.jpg|thumb|left|200px|RAAAAAIIIID?!]]

Omega Supreme would appear some time later, after the Decepticons had executed a galaxy-wide assault on Autobot outposts, whose security systems had all been shut down by Bombshell's use of the Headmaster technology present within Hunter O'Nion. Alerted by a presumed futile distress call sent by Hot Rod, Omega arrived on Cybertron to assist the group of Autobot survivors, who were stranded there and about to be devoured by the Swarm. Omega's arrival on the battlefield almost instantly turned the tide, and he apologised for taking so long. When questioned about his survival (Prowl stated the Decepticons would've sent an entire ''army'' to take down Omega), Omega gave a simple explanation: "I am Omega Supreme." At Prime's request, he transformed to shuttle mode, allowing the weary Autobots to board and disembark for Earth. {{Storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 10}}

[[Image:Ahm12 devastatorgettingtrashed.jpg|right|200px|thumb|Wish [[Devastator (G1)|you]] had that chestplate now, don't you?]]

Later, when he arrived on Earth, he engaged [[Devastator (G1)|Devastator]]. We didn't see much of the fight, as [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus]] ordered him to take it somewhere else to avoid damaging the city, but in the part that we did see, Omega was winning. {{Storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 11}} At the Statue of Liberty, Omega and Devastator duked it out, before Omega took the gestalt out with a blast to the midsection, which also destroyed Lady Liberty. Woops. {{Storylink|All Hail Megatron issue 12}}
===Generation 1===
[[Image:G1OmegaSupreme_toy.jpg|thumb|300px|Little yellow clips: misplaced.]]
*'''Omega Supreme''' (1985, 2008)
**''Accessories:'' 2 small shields, 2 medium shields, 2 large shields, 4 armour halves (A, B, C, D), 4 ankle halves (E, F, G, H), 2 feet, backpack, 4 tracks (J, K, L, M)

:Omega Spreem, as with the other Action Master Elites, was only released in Europe and Australasia.
===Super Collection Figures===
[[Image:HOC_OmegaSupreme.jpg|thumb|250px|]]

===Heroes of Cybertron===
*'''Omega Supreme''' (2003)

==Trivia==

Notably, He resembles his G1 self, with his rocket arms and tank track sticking out of his back.

'''''Transformers: War for Cybertron''''' is a video game developed by [[High Moon Studios]] and published by [[Activision Blizzard|Activision]], set before the Transformers take their war to [[Earth]]. [[Hasbro]] intends it to act as a foundation for ''[[Transformers brand| Transformers]]'' franchise storylines for years to come, and so they've been giving a lot of input and stressing character development.<ref name="tfw2005">[http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/video-games-17/tfw2005-war-for-cybertron-interview-with-aaron-archer-and-matt-tieger-168910/ War for Cybertron interview with Aaron Archer and Matt Tieger @ TFW2005.com]</ref> There are both a [[Decepticon]] and an [[Autobot]] campaign with distinct, linear storylines; the Decepticon campaign occurs chronologically before the Autobot campaign, but [[Fandom| fans]] can play through them in whichever order they prefer.<ref>[http://www.seibertron.com/news/index.php?f_keyword=war+for+cybertron Seibertron Q&A with Activision]</ref>

The game itself will be an over-the-shoulder third-person shooter in which the player can choose his character from a small roster of either Autobots or Decepticons. The game will be released on [[July 22]], [[2010]], for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and PC.

[[Image:WarforCybertron-OptimusPrime.jpg|right|thumb|400px|This is my rifle, this is my gun...THIS IS MY AXE.]]

The game is set during the early days of the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]] on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] is searching for a dangerous power source known as [[Dark Energon]] to fuel his conquest of the planet. [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]] has come to prominence after joining the fight following an attack on [[Iacon]], but he is not yet leader of the Autobots. [[Starscream]] joins the Decepticons as second-in-command, but does not consider either Optimus or Megatron to have the planet's best interests at heart. (We will apparently learn ''why'' Starscream is such a whopping traitor and why Megatron [[:Image:Infiltration6_takeyourpunishment.jpg|doesn't just]] [[:Image:Swordscream.JPG|kill him]])

==Characters==
The Decepticon campaign includes a boss battle with [[Omega Supreme (G1)|Omega Supreme]] and the Autobot campaign includes defending [[Iacon]]. [[Trypticon (G1)|Trypticon]] appears in the IGN trailer, but he's, uh, probably not playable. Players should expect references to Cybertron locations taken from all previous Transformer stories, "things which may have only been referenced once, in one comic way back when, could be used and expanded upon."<ref name="tfw2005"/>
==Features==
* Campaigns will be co-op both online and off for the first time in a Transformers game.
* All playable characters have at least one special ability, such as absorbing health from enemies or marking targets.
* The game will run on the Unreal engine.
* High Moon is prepared to "support the game after release," meaning either patches or downloadable content.

==Production==

As an early marketing campaign, the game's website included the feature "Operation Transmission Recovery": using transmission and coordinate dials, you could pick up "transmissions" from Cybertron (or "video clips" to you and me).

The art and design team did intense research (i.e. watched the original cartoon, looked at comics, and watched "typical sci-fi cool stuff" like ''Blade Runner'') to work out the aesthetic of Cybertron; lead artist [[Ivan Power]] remarked that the original cartoon was the main inspiration, and that Cybertron wasn't shown there so they had to rewatch the same few clips "over and over". While many of the city designs are elaborate and shiny, Decepticon [[Kaon]] was deliberately designed to be sharp-edged, rusting, and slapped together to show the Decepticons weren't interested in building a functioning society. <ref>[http://gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2009/12/21/transformers-art-video.aspx Game Informer: Behind the Art of War for Cybertron]</ref>

==Operation Transmission Recovery==

As an early marketing campaign, the game's website included the feature "Operation Transmission Recovery": using transmission and coordinate dials, you could pick up "transmissions" from Cybertron (or "video clips/images" to you and me). There are two dials, blue (outer) and yellow (inner). using mouse you can drag the dial to set coordinates

The blue dial is set by aligning it to marks on outer circle when aligned it becomes a blue ring. After that the yellow dial is set so that signal strength is full (meter on right). Once a transmission is unlocked its symbol lights up and total recovered increases a little bit. When you reach 100% it tells you how many hours remain until next batch.

As of 12 Jan 2010, following transmissions were available (Batch 9), almost all of them are part of second trailer (link below)

:''Bonecrusher is a [[Decepticon]] from the [[Movie (franchise)|2007 movie franchise]] in the [[Live-action film series|live-action film]] [[continuity family]].''

[[Image:MovieBonecrusher.jpg|right|300px|thumb|''He was a sk8ter boi<br>She said see ya later boy'']]

'''Bonecrusher''' is a Transformer that can be described with one word: Hate. While other Decepticons get by on greed, ambition, or just their fondness for dispensing chaos, Bonecrusher is fueled by sheer, unrelenting hate. He hates everyone and everything, be they Autobot, Decepticon, or anything in-between—he even hates ''himself'', revolted by his misshapen, hunchbacked robot mode, which he considers a reflection of all the ugliness and malice inside himself. The full force of this vicious cycle of hatred finds release in explosive frenzied bursts of psychotic brutality, as Bonecrusher takes out the full force of his bitterness and self-loathing on anyone who looks at him sideways. He hates that. He also hates [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]], but would hate being terminated by the Decepticon leader more, so he sticks around.

On [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], Bonecrusher was actually quite a skilled tactician—dedicated to the art of war, a fast thinker who could plough into battle while others were still mapping out strategy, and, most importantly in Megatron's eyes, a masterfully ''dirty'' fighter. However, Bonecrusher's skills left him consigned to a supervisory position and kept him off the battlefield, which, of course, he hated. Naturally, this only helped to increase his already epic levels of frustration and misery at his lot in life, until he became what he is today. <ref>Bonecrusher profile in [[Transformers Comic issue 8|Titan's UK Transformers Comic #8]]</ref> He's so intensely pent-up that he'll unflinchingly take on opponents of any size{{m-}}the bigger the better! Bonecrusher wouldn't hesitate to confront [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] head on, if he could.

He transforms into a Buffalo mine-clearing vehicle used by the military, perhaps because it was the vehicle he hated the least.
== Fiction ==
===Titan Magazines ''Transformers'' movie comics===
Bonecrusher was known and feared by Autobots for never giving up. He almost killed [[Jazz (Movie)|Jazz]] once and pursued him and his comrade [[Clocker (Movie)|Clocker]] for ages, driven by his hatred of nice-looking shiny robots (or nice-looking ''anythings''). As he said, "I figure, why should they look so nice... when I look like ''this!''" Clocker covered the wounded Jazz's retreat and tried to fight Bonecrusher, who hated that and killed him. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 6|Lost In Space 4: Jazz}}

{{notetitantlg}}
[[Image:Titan11_Bonecrusher.jpg|right|250px|thumb|"Should we tell him we don't have bones?"<br>"Nah. He'd hate that."]]
Bonecrusher was surprisingly still alive and was in charge of security at the Decepticon's [[All Spark]] holding facility. Although he was happy that he has his arm and head reattached, he hated his job, as he was just a glorified drone director, and not able to kill anything himself. Thus, when he learned that Ironhide and Ratchet were trying to get into the facility, he decided to let the two Autobot infiltrators in, just so he could personally confront and kill them. So he not only disliked his job, he also wasn't very good at it. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 11|Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 3}} His fists hated on Ironhide's face before Ratchet stepped in, tearing the Decepticon up with offensive weaponry. He fought Ironhide again and this time lost, and may have been blown up with the All Spark. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 13|Twilight's Last Gleaming, Part: 5}}

Bonecrusher was a member of Starscream's unit that was keeping [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]]'s reinforcements out of [[Tyger Pax]]. When [[Brawl (Movie)|Brawl]] arrived with news of Megatron and the All Spark, Bonecrusher insisted that they move on as they had already killed all the Autobots in the area. He then demanded that Brawl take them to Megatron or he would kill them all. Witnessing the launch of the All Spark, [[Barricade (Movie)|Barricade]] commented that [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] would die, but Bonecrusher replied that they should let it die, and that Barricade should join it in death. After Starscream and Blackout settled their differences, the group headed after Megatron. {{storylink|Planetfall|Planetfall}}

They landed on [[Mars]], the fourth planet of the solar system where they had detected the All Spark's energy signature. The Decepticons destroyed a [[Beagle 2 Rover|primitive life form]] encountered on the surface. {{storylink|The Reign of Starscream Issue Number One|The Reign of Starscream issue 1}}

The Decepticons made planetfall on [[Earth]] in Afghanistan, quickly attracting the attention of a nearby [[United States military|US military]] base, which sent out an armoured personnel carrier to investigate. Bonecrusher declared his satisfaction in finally having something to kill, but this chance was snatched away when [[Wreckage (Movie)|Wreckage]] scanned the vehicle and destroyed it. He hated when that happened. Hitting the US airbase, Bonecrusher easily killed the humans before scanning a Buffalo mine-clearance vehicle. Bonecrusher hated the notion of "disguise", but hated standing out more. After scanning, he complained that there weren't enough lifeforms to kill. {{storylink|Planetfall|Planetfall}}
{{-}}
===''Ghosts of Yesterday'' prequel novel===
Bonecrusher was aboard the crew of the ''Nemesis'', led by [[Starscream (Movie)|Starscream]], who were searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the [[All Spark]]. He hated Starscream, but all the other Decepticons do as well, making it something he has in common with his fellow Decepticons.

When Starscream left to go destroy [[Ghost 1|an alien vessel]], Bonecrusher eagerly joined [[Blackout (Movie)|Blackout]]'s plan to attack the ''[[Ark (Movie)|Ark]]'' against Starscream's orders, as there was nothing else to attack. Bypassing [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]], he headed straight for the ''Ark''. However, [[Jazz (Movie)|Jazz]] and [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]] were waiting, and unleashed hell upon him. He hated that. When Blackout ordered a withdrawal, Bonecrusher reluctantly complied.

Shortly afterwards, Barricade picked Bonecrusher to lead another assault on the ''Ark''. His only response to the command was a growl. After Blackout had his [[exhaust port]] handed to him for challenging Starscream, Bonecrusher had to drag him back to the ''Nemesis''. During the subsequent fight, Bonecrusher had to fight Ironhide, and managed to dent his armor. However, Bonecrusher demands answers from Starscream when Blackout demands information on why the Decepticon leader wanted to destroy the alien ship, cause damn it, even Bonecrusher needs reasons to kill (well, not really, he was just getting fed up with Starscream). Bonecrusher was forced to drag Starscream back to the ''Nemesis'' when he was injured by the alien ship. {{storylink|Ghosts of Yesterday|Transformers: Ghosts of Yesterday}}

[[Image:Movie Bonecrusher carflip.jpg|left|250px|thumb|He hates the sundown slowdown.]]
Bonecrusher was hiding out in the motor pool of a military base when he received a communique from Starscream ordering the Decepticons to mobilize and converge on the location of the All Spark. Leaving the base, he reported that he was "rolling" out. Sometime after this, he rendezvoused with [[Barricade (Movie)|Barricade]] and [[Brawl (Movie)|Devastator]], and the three Decepticons headed off together to intercept the Autobots and their human allies who had the All Spark in their possession.

[[Image:Movie Bonecrusher face.jpg|right|250px|thumb|Bonecrusher, like most celebs, hates the paparazzi. He also hates closeups.]]

Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room. Unsatisfied with Barricade's less conspicuous method, Bonecrusher used his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way. Surprisingly, the Autobots didn't find this out of the ordinary, and only reacted when [[Sam Witwicky|ladiesman217]] recognized Barricade and warned the Autobots. [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]], [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]], and [[Ratchet (Movie)|Ratchet]] aligned to block the Decepticons from [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], who had the All Spark and the fleshlings.

[[Image:Movie2007_Bonecrusher_attacks_Prime.jpg|left|250px|thumb|Bonecrusher loves (for once) to watch things burn. Just not himself.]]

After Barricade pulled over to the side of the road, Bonecrusher transformed while still moving and skated towards the Autobots. Optimus Prime transformed and slid into position to block his path. Seeing the Autobot he really hated, Bonecrusher smashed through a bus, and tackled Optimus Prime, pushing him off an overpass tumbling and falling off the edge, dragging the Autobot leader down with him.

[[Image:Movie Bonecrusher dies.jpg|right|250px|thumb|Thus began (and ended) Bonecrusher's hatred of Prime's sword.]]

When they landed, he sucker-punched Optimus Prime, who then hit Bonecrusher so hard one of the Decepticon's [[Sensors#Optical sensors|optics]] popped free from its socket, all the while being observed by a little kid in an SUV, who though the entire experience was ''totally'' cool. The two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. After Prime jumped down to ground level, Bonecrusher swung his tail wildly at the Autobot, all the while screaming incoherently. This gave Optimus the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready... which the Autobot leader used to cleave Bonecrusher's right arm and run through the Decepticon's neck, nearly severing it. Optimus then wrenched Bonecrusher's head from its neck and tossed it aside. {{storylink|Transformers (2007)|Transformers}}
Despite all appearances, Bonecrusher managed to escape after his encounter with Optimus Prime (missing his head? beaten to a pulp?), and went to hide out in the South American jungle. : Bonecrusher transforms into a [[wikipedia:Buffalo_(mine_protected_vehicle)|Buffalo mine-protected vehicle]], with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path. The fork can change from its packaged "Grabber claw" configuration into a more fork/shovel like configuration, a fact not stated on the instructions. He has six rolling wheels in this mode, and two sculpted, non-functional spare wheels.

: In robot mode he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie, though a major deviation to both designs is that the entire front shell halves of the vehicle mode are mounted upon his arms. His arms have limited articulation due to this [[kibble]], but can extend out into '''really''' long arms. His legs fare better, with ball jointed hips, swivel knees and ankles, but his hips can often detach from the codpiece holding them together. The mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider [[Automorph Technology|Automorph]] mechanism.

: He is named "Bonescrusher" on the Canadian [[cross-sell]]. Guess how Bonecrusher feels about ''that'' little mispelling.
He also hates redecos, slavish or not. He also hates quality control, and [[Fandom|fans]] who complain that the claw arm now has a habit of popping off with little force, while the original did not. Reviewer [[Ben Yee|Benson Yee]] pointed out that this interferes with the automorph trick, as the arm can now pop off while sliding that lever. It's obvious by now how he feels about Ben Yee, [[Swivel joint|swivel joints]], quality control, [[Hot Shot (Armada)|cars addicted to]] [[JaAm]], sore shoulders (&amp; possibly his own shoulders as well), [[Ball joint|ball joints]], JaAm, etc...
:Bonecrusher comes packaged with the impressively-armed [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]]. He is depicted lunging forward on his roller-skate feet, presumably to deliver an extremely enthusiastic hug. This figurine is notorious for not actually being able to stand up on its feet very well, usually requiring one of its hands to be used for balance.
{{-}}
==Trivia==
[[Image:PhotoshopedBuffalo.PNG|right|250px|thumb|*Giant fork and Decepticon insignia not included with the real Buffalo.* Bonecrusher hates those disclaimers.]]
* The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle doesn't have such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive[http://www.forceprotection.net/models/buffalo/]. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie.

* Force Protection really loves Bonecrusher and the fact that he has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode. They are actually quite proud of it.[http://www.forceprotection.net/news/transformers.html]

* Bonecrusher's toy was used as a prop for a CNN Headline News report demonstrating the real Buffalo vehicle's mine-sweeping arm.[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maAWP2uVd7M]

* According to a press kit sent out in conjunction with the movie, Bonecrusher is, "another [[Constructicon (ROTF)|Constructicon]]" who "forms [[Brawl (Movie)|Brawl's]] left arm".[http://numberonestars.com/transformers/production/decepticons.htm] Thus far, there have been no reports of people using Bonecrusher as one of Brawl's arms, left or otherwise.

* At various points during his fight with Optimus Prime, Bonecrusher emits some garbled roars that ''might'' be English. However, there is little agreement among viewers as to what he might be saying, and indeed, whether he even said anything at all. The subtitles and closed captions for the film do not identify any dialogue, just labelling it as "roaring". Maybe he just hates speaking? Someone should really ask Jimmie Wood.

* Bonecrusher is [[Michael Bay]]'s favorite character from the film, despite his limited screentime —so much so that Bay named [[Bonecrusher (ROTF)|his new dog]] after him. Bonecrusher still hates Bay for the small screen time he gets though.

* Bonecrusher is never discussed or mentioned in ''[[Transformers: The Movie Guide]]''.

* In one of [[Hasbro Q&A|Hasbro's bimonthly Q & As]], it was revealed that in retrospect, Hasbro thinks a Voyager-class figure would have been a better fit for the figure than the Deluxe.

* According to the DVD commentary, Bonecrusher's sequences were particularly difficult for [[Industrial Light & Magic|ILM]] to do at first. The solution came from videotaping employees rollerblading in the parking lot, and a pair of fighting experts going through the motions wanted for Bonecrusher and Prime, then using that footage as references.

* Bonecrusher's movements seem to be heavily inspired by several types of sports including hockey (his running movements) and American football (his tackling on Optimus Prime).

* Last but not least, Bonecrusher hates ''you''. Yeah, you. You know who you are. Don't try to pretend you don't know, either. Bonecrusher hates ignorance. And apples.
Before the war, '''Sideways''' was a simple courier, not exactly a career demanding massive levels of courage. This means that in the battle against the [[Autobots]], Sideways prefers to team up with larger Decepticons. This way, his target-friendly companion takes all the heat! In fact, he generally shuns combat entirely. He's not a courageous fellow. But when he absolutely must face the enemy, he eagerly deploys the spinning saw blades on his arms.

Since he's arrived on [[Earth]], Sideways has started hanging out with the mountainous [[Demolishor (ROTF)|Demolishor]]. There's few larger Decepticons to lurk in the shadow of!
Sideways made an early landing in [[Australia]], with [[Optimus Prime (Movie)|Optimus Prime]] and [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]] pursuing him through its northern territories. With his souped-up sports car alt mode, Sideways had them outclassed on the roads and was able to both outpace the Autobots and batter them about. Eventually, Optimus decided to change the terrain by blasting the Decepticon off the road. While willing to fight, the Decepticon gave up when human reinforcements arrived.

However, it became clear (to us, anyway) that he was ''meant'' to get captured as part of a plan to frame [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]]: as soon as he was taken to [[Diego Garcia]], [[Scorponok (Movie)|Scorponok]] arrived to free him. Knocking Arcee aside and using debris as a weapon against humans, Sideways made good his escape. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 2.5|Reversal of Fortune}}
Sideways was hiding out in [[Shanghai]] with [[Demolishor (ROTF)|Demolishor]] when [[NEST]] came to investigate a possible Decepticon insurgence. At first, the two Decepticons remained concealed, but Demolishor soon transformed and attacked. While the soldiers and their Autobot allies were busy fighting off Demolishor, Sideways took advantage of the chaos and attempted to make his getaway. He was not entirely undetected, however, as [[William Lennox|Major Lennox]] sent out [[Arcee (Movie)|Arcee]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|the]] [[Skids (ROTF)|twins]] in pursuit.

[[Image:ROTF Sideways death.jpg|thumb|left|200px|Ouchies.]]
With Arcee behind him and the Twins in front of him, Sideways turned a corner to an apartment complex in his way. Rather than turn and lose momentum, Sideways chucked caution to the wind and transformed, jumping through the apartment building and out the other side. The Twins were unable to keep up with the chase, and Sideways was soon able to fight off Arcee. Sideways didn't get far, and eventually met his end when [[Sideswipe (ROTF)|Sideswipe]] engaged in pursuit, transformed, and bisected Sideways as he attempted to flee. {{storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (film)|Revenge of the Fallen}}
[[Image:ROTFTheGame_Sideways.jpg|300px|thumb|Bite my shiny metal ass!]]

Sideways operated as a high-speed reconnaissance operative with the ability to snipe at Autobot opponents from afar with his [[plasma sniper rifle]], and slow enemies to a crawl with his [[graviton mine]] when he needed to get away.

Sideways was deployed to Shanghai after the Autobots and their NEST allies were detected interfering with an important operation in the area. Upon arrival, various [[Protectobot Scout|Protectobot drones]] were sent to stop him, but failed. Later, Sideways was sent to the Shanghai waterfront to retrieve [[Grindor (ROTF)|Grindor]], who had been damaged and captured by the Autobots. The nimble Decepticon sports car used a combination of speed and guile to fight his way through the numerically superior Autobot forces, freed Grindor and escorted his Decepticon brother back to the extraction point. He was sent back to the waterfront again find a cloaked Autobot probe that threatened the Decepticon operations in China. Following the probe's wake, Sideways raced through the waterfront past startled human dockworkers and the [[Protectobot Warrior|Protectobot units]] assigned to the area, destroying the probe as it revealed itself. {{Storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)}}
=====Autobot campaign=====
The Autobots were deployed to China when NEST forces detected the presence of Decepticons in Shanghai. Sideways secreted himself within the urban jungle and sent waves of [[Stunticon Scout 2|Stunticon drones]] against [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]]. After the last batch of Stunticons had been defeated, Sideways revealed himself, taking pot shots at the powerful Autobot with his [[slag repeater]], after which he would <s>cheese it</s> flee through the narrow alleyways where Ironhide had difficulty following. While the Autobot struggled to pass the cramped causeways, Sideways set himself up on the roof of the tallest residential block and fired his plasma sniper rifle. Ironhide shrugged off the blasts, clambered up the building, and with a mighty punch, sent Sideways plummeting to the ground, reducing him to scrap. {{Storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)}}

:Deluxe-Class Sideways features [[Automorph]] action during the conversion from car to robot mode. When the front bumper is pressed, his front pair of wheels automatically flip underneath the hood, and his robot abs flip down. There is also some [[Mech Alive]]: you can see internal gears moving in his fore-arms when moving his arms, as well as a turning disk on each of his elbows. On his right arm is a spinning "saw" blade. He is probably the least film-accurate toy to date (that doesn't fall in a lesser [[Legends Class|size-class]] or different [[Movie (toyline) #Fast Transformers Fun|toy-line]]), but that doesn't make him any less awesome.

:Unlike the other on-screen characters in ''[[Revenge of the Fallen (toyline)|Revenge of the Fallen]]'' who turn into consumer vehicles, Sideways' vehicle mode is merely an approximation of an [[wikipedia:Audi_R8|Audi R8]] and is not an accurate replica. This is because the toy vehicle, lacking Audi signage, is unlicensed. This doesn't explain why all versions of Deluxe class Sideways (hand-painted [[prototype]]s, test shots and production toys) are missing the black front lid, roof and rear hood seen on Sideways toys of other price points, and the real car. However, all of the toys are missing the unique silver stripes on top of the black areas seen on the [http://www.europeancarsblog.com/apr-audi-r8/ APR-tuned Audi R8], which was the car used in the movie.

:Yet another victim of late mold changes rampant among the 2008-2009 financial crisis, Sideways appears to have had a hinged thumb on his left hand in Hasbro stock photos whereas this is a solid section molded on to the arm on the final toy. Although not indicated on any early photos nor instructions, Sideways' windshield underside has two notches that connect to Sideways' hood on small square pegs immediately behind the front wheels. This requires folding up the two small triangular pieces on top of the hood. Also it seems as if the spinning saw blade was originally powered by gears, the gearbox and shaft for the lever can still be seen on his right forearm but are molded just like his thumb onto the arm.

:Along with [[Breakaway (ROTF)|Breakaway]], Sideways was initially released in two color schemes, a light silver version and a less common very dark silver version.

However, it became clear (to us, anyway) that he was ''meant'' to get captured as part of a plan to frame [[Skids (ROTF)|Skids]] and [[Mudflap (ROTF)|Mudflap]]: as soon as he was taken to [[Diego Garcia]], [[Scorponok (Movie)|Scorponok]] arrived to free him. Knocking Arcee aside and using debris as a weapon against humans, Sideways made good his escape. {{storylink|Transformers Comic issue 2.5|Reversal of Fortune}}
With Arcee behind him and the Twins in front of him, Sideways turned a corner to an apartment complex in his way. Rather than turn and lose momentum, Sideways chucked caution to the wind and transformed, jumping through the apartment building and out the other side. The Twins were unable to keep up with the chase, and Sideways was soon able to fight off Arcee. Sideways didn't get far, and eventually met his end when [[Sideswipe (ROTF)|Sideswipe]] engaged in pursuit, transformed, and bisected Sideways as he attempted to flee. {{storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (film)|Revenge of the Fallen}}

Sideways was deployed to Shanghai after the Autobots and their NEST allies were detected interfering with an important operation in the area. Upon arrival, various [[Protectobot Scout|Protectobot drones]] were sent to stop him, but failed. Later, Sideways was sent to the Shanghai waterfront to retrieve [[Grindor (ROTF)|Grindor]], who had been damaged and captured by the Autobots. The nimble Decepticon sports car used a combination of speed and guile to fight his way through the numerically superior Autobot forces, freed Grindor and escorted his Decepticon brother back to the extraction point. He was sent back to the waterfront again find a cloaked Autobot probe that threatened the Decepticon operations in China. Following the probe's wake, Sideways raced through the waterfront past startled human dockworkers and the [[Protectobot Warrior|Protectobot units]] assigned to the area, destroying the probe as it revealed itself. {{Storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)}}
=====Autobot campaign=====
The Autobots were deployed to China when NEST forces detected the presence of Decepticons in Shanghai. Sideways secreted himself within the urban jungle and sent waves of [[Stunticon Scout 2|Stunticon drones]] against [[Ironhide (Movie)|Ironhide]]. After the last batch of Stunticons had been defeated, Sideways revealed himself, taking pot shots at the powerful Autobot with his [[slag repeater]], after which he would <s>cheese it</s> flee through the narrow alleyways where Ironhide had difficulty following. While the Autobot struggled to pass the cramped causeways, Sideways set himself up on the roof of the tallest residential block and fired his plasma sniper rifle. Ironhide shrugged off the blasts, clambered up the building, and with a mighty punch, sent Sideways plummeting to the ground, reducing him to scrap. {{Storylink|Revenge of the Fallen (Xbox 360/PS3/PC)}}
**''Japanese ID number:'' '''RD-05'''

* Traditionally, it's been thought that Hasbro own all the characters from the Marvel ''Transformers'' comics EXCEPT those that debuted elsewhere (discounting TFUS #3, the "Spider-Man issue" which involved various other Marvel cameos, that virtually limits it to Circuit Breaker & Death's Head). However, the indicia in TFUS #74-80 also claim that Marvel own the Neo-Knights and '''all''' their individual members, rather than just Circuit Breaker. Significantly, the other characters ([[Dynamo]], [[Thunderpunch]], [[Rapture]] and [[G.B. Underwater, [[Scalpel]] orders the Constructions to kill [[ze little one]] (the Volvo excavator). In a [http://www.actionfigs.com/index.php?categoryid=21&p2_articleid=2471 previous Q&A], it was stated that Demolishor, Rampage, Mixmaster and Long Haul received figures before Scrapper because they had more screentime, even though the Volvo excavator/ze little one shared a scene with the latter three. * Based on past releases, it seems to be possible to repair older molds to restore detail lost with repeated use. Specifically, the G1 Jazz mold appears to have had its face detail corrected between the 2003 U.S. reissue and the 2004 release of the mold as Ricochet. Are there limits to how much damage can be repaired, or is it just a matter of whether it's economically feasible to repair a mold? *So, there are lots of look-alike Constructicons in the film ''[[Revenge of the Fallen (film)|Revenge of the Fallen]]''. According to the toys, Rampage is the yellow bulldozer able to combine. The '''question''' is: Are there two Rampages in ''Revenge of the Fallen'' OR the yellow bulldozer is Rampage while the red one is Skipjack just as the credits ({{m-}} which means Starsream's line is an error)? --'''[[User:TX55|<span style= "color:#00FA9A">TX55</span>]]'''<small>''[[User talk:TX55|<span style= "color:#0000CD">TALK</span>]]''</small> 02:37, 1 October 2009 (EDT)
Blackrock]], who were named individually) had all debuted in ''Transformers'' itself, earlier than #74 - G.B. Blackrock debuted over 50 issues earlier! - and ''weren't'' previously claimed by Marvel in this fashion. * In ''Revenge of the Fallen'', during the scene where the Constructicons go to revive Megatron, a flyover shot shows a red bulldozer (Rampage), a concrete mixer (Mixmaster), a dump truck (Long Haul) and a yellow front-end loader (Scrapper), but after that flyover, the front-end loader is replaced with a yellow Volvo excavator marked with a Decepticon insignia. This means the Volvo excavator/ze little one isn't Scrapper (even though his robot mode is similar), so what is he?
