Titan

:Titan is a class from Fall of Cybertron's multiplayer mode.

Do you prefer your foes drained of energon, pumped full of lead, and crushed under your enormous treads? Then choose the Titan, the biggest and brawliest FOC class. They transform into tanks. Usually.

Characteristics
The Titan was tweaked from the War for Cybertron Soldier class. It still has the highest overall health, but greater emphasis was placed on heavy machine guns, with most of the explosive munitions transferred to the Destroyer class.

Body Types
Six body types were available with the game initially, with two unlocked from the get-go and the rest available by spending Energon shards. The heads, chest/vehicle, shoulders, arms, legs, and cannon were interchangeable. The initial bodies were:
*Gunner (Megatron)
*Obliterator (Warpath)
*Tanker (Brawl)
*Wrecker (Scattershot)
*Bruiser (Demolishor)
*Steel Crusher (Quake)
Several bonus heads could be added on by attaining certain levels. They were:
*Beast (Grimlock beast head, unlocked at level 25)
*Warlord (Head of the Autobot Titan enemies in campaign, Unlocked at Prime)
*Crawler (Insecticon head, unlocked at Prime level 25)
*Elite (Megatron with a crown, unlocked by reaching Prime 25 with every class)
Later, downloadable content could be purchased that added more body types. So far, they've been:
*Annihilator (Perceptor)
*Beetle (Hardshell)
*Berserker (Grimlock cannon can't be altered with this type)
Finally, each class could apply a variety of faction symbols (called "decals"). Each set cost 400 Energon shards, and many contained references to past Transformers subgroups. They were: Targetmasters; Lightning Strikeforce; Warchargers; Astro Squad; Protectobots; Energo Squad; Battle Squad; Lazer Rods.

Weapons
Each class in FOC was able to equip a primary and secondary firearm, and each had four to choose from. Two would be unlocked to begin with, and the rest became available as levels were gained. Each weapon upgrades that could be added by gaining levels. The Titan had access to:
*Energon Harvester
*X18 Scrapmaker
*E.D.K. TechVolt
*Corrosive Slime Cannon

Abilities
Each class had access to two different abilities and could equip one at a time. The second ability, as well as various upgrades, could be unlocked by gaining experience. The Titan could:
*Whirlwind - A spinning melee attack. Could be canceled by jumping or pressing the ability button.
*Flak Shield - A huge, handheld shield that blocked incoming attacks.
Everything about Skalor is gross. His general lack of hygiene. His dual crustation rifles. And even his Targetmaster mode, formed when he combines with his crustation rifles, is gross; it's a double-barreled corrosive slime-shooter, which... well, shoots corrosive slime.

Also, when Bomb-Burst can't drain his victim's fuel, he'll settle for pelting them with his own corrosive slime shooter.

Still fuzzy on the concept of stun, Finback also uses a metal-corroding stun rifle that fires thick, viscous underwater slime, capable of stunning his targets into melted heaps of slag. He should probably stick to this gun for his and Misfire's sakes.

Blot also has a slime gun, which in a similar fashion, coats his targets in corrosive slime that smells almost as bad as he does. It also makes one wonder if the prerequisite for using these guns is being insanely gross.

The corrosive slime cannon also appears in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron as a heavy weapon.
When the Autobots detected an energon vein in Greece, Bulkhead and Miko went to investigate. There they spotted a painting of a god wielding the Energon Harvester and figured one must be on Earth. Bulkhead encountered Breakdown at the construction site, which meant the Decepticons also knew about the Harvester. Team Prime surrounded the museum, while Ratchet GroundBridged the children into the museum to steal the Harvester. But Knock Out and Breakdown attacked the Autobots, Soundwave snatched the Harvester from the kids, and Miko was arrested. Bulkhead deduced Starscream would return to Greece to harvest the untapped energon source. Starscream had already demonstrated its power by absorbing the life from a Vehicon and was harvesting the energon when Bulkhead arrived. The Decepticon attempted to use it to kill Bulkhead, but he grabbed onto it, causing it to overload. Bulkhead threw the Harvester into the air, where it safely exploded.

Later, Agent Fowler gave a replica of the Harvester (made by Ratchet) to the museum and got Miko out of trouble with the security guard. Deus ex Machina

Wielded by Prima, one of the original thirteen Transformers at the dawn of time, the Star Saber sword was a weapon unlike any other. Though several other swords throughout the multiverse share its name, only one could snuff out stars and crumble the stuff of planets into dust. Many legends swirl around this blade of blades, from its origin to it its precise nature to the circumstances surrounding its disappearance into the annals of history, but somewhere between fiction and fact, the Star Saber waits to be discovered again by one worthy enough to wield its power...

Fiction
Fun Publications comics
Due to unknown circumstances, long before recorded time began, the Star Saber was shattered into five pieces. To keep its fragments from falling into the wrong hands, Nexus Prime decided to use his very body to conceal it. His fellow original Transformers Vector Prime and Alpha Trion used the quantum edge of the blade (still functioning despite the sword's sad state), to carve Nexus Prime into five pieces, each of which became an individual: Heatwave, Skyfall, Landquake, Topspin and Breakaway. The five pieces of the Star Saber were then scattered across the multiverse, followed soon by the five components of Nexus Prime, their knowledge of the pieces' locations and of their own previous lives suppressed until such time as the sword was needed again. Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club issue 30

Uncounted aeons later, the components of Nexus Prime found each other once again, and the titan was re-formed. Reunification: Part 6 He proceeded to embark on a multiversal journey with the negative-polarity Quintesson Aquarius in order to recover the sword fragments, but one major obstacle stood in their way: Nexus Prime's memories had not returned entirely. He knew that he was searching for an artifact powerful enough to collapse the entire multiversal stack, but could no longer remember what the artifact was, what its pieces looked like, or where exactly they were. When the pair made a stop in the "Wings Universe", however, Nexus felt that the Cybertron Elite Guard symbol he spotted on a box was somehow a clue, one that finally got him started on the right track. The Coming Storm: Part 1

After unknown further adventures, at least one fragment of the sword was successfully discovered in Axiom Nexus, which Aquarius picked up from a courier. Transformers I.Q.#issue 48

The Star Saber was one of the greatest weapons created by Solus Prime. To hide the full truth of its nature from any single Cybertronian, many myths exist about it; some claim that it was created out of three bots and wielded itself, others that it was integrated into the chassis of one of the Thirteen, and others still that Solus forged it from the core of a star, using its own heat as her furnace. Transformers: Exiles More concretely, it is known that the Matrix of Leadership once adorned the sword's hilt. Transformers: Exodus

According to Alpha Trion, the Star Saber was shattered into five pieces after the defeat of Liege Maximo. Per Trion's story, Nexus Prime gathered the pieces, broke himself into five bots—Clocker, Mainspring, Chaindrive, Pinion, and Cannonspring—hid a piece inside each bot, and spread his component bots across the universe in order to keep the Star Saber away from the Fallen. Transformers: Exiles

Following the Great Exodus of Cybertronians from Cybertron, Optimus Prime was led across the galaxy by the Matrix of Leadership that he now bore, discovering on each stop blade-like fragments of Cybertronian metal. Optimus presumed them to be pieces of the Star Saber, but they were in actuality the Blades of Time, another artifact entrusted to Nexus. However, Prime's journey had also led to the discovery of the five components of Nexus Prime, who reformed during a battle with the Decepticons on Junkion. The sword he proceeded to summon was, contrary to legend, named the "Cyber Caliber", calling into question whether or not the story about him being guardian of the Star Saber was true. Transformers: Exiles

The Star Saber was held in the Iacon vaults near the end of the war, and ejected into space with the rest of the items stored there. It found its way to Earth where it became entombed in rock. When Megatron uncovered it, he found that its energy rendered the rock around it indestructible and he was unable to extract it. The Decepticons attempted to lift the whole rock face with the Nemesis, but Optimus Prime was able to pull it from the stone. With it, he split the entire mountain in half and unleashed a wave of energy that struck the Nemesis. Alpha Trion later sent Optimus Prime a message using the sword. Legacy

Desperate to match Optimus' newfound power, Megatron transplanted the arm of a dead Prime onto himself, which allowed him to use the Forge of Solus Prime to forge the Dark Star Saber. He challenged Optimus to a battle for the latest relic, and though their swords seemed to be equal when it came to flinging energy waves around, the original Star Saber proved to be less durable when Megatron managed to shatter it with his own blade. The shards from the blade dissolved into dust, and Optimus took the hilt back to base with him. Alpha/Omega

After regaining the Forge of Solus Prime, Optimus used it to reforge the Star Saber and took it with him to Cybertron. He used it in battle with Megatron, matching the Dark Star Saber, and keeping his opposite busy while the other Autobots reclaimed the Omega Keys. Once they'd succeeded, he used the sword to knock Megatron flying so the Autobots could retreat. Regeneration (Prime)

With the Decepticons threatening the kids, Optimus had no choice but to throw down the Star Saber. When it turned out Megatron intended to destroy Earth, he picked up the sword again, using it to slice off Megatron's right arm and destroy the Omega Lock. He later used it to destroy the GroundBridge controls so the Decepticons couldn't work out where the Autobots had retreated to, though as moments later the Decepticons destroyed the base with Optimus and the sword still in it, the act was rendered moot. Darkest Hour (episode)
Notes
*At Botcon 2010, Fun Publications said that Hasbro has, in effect, taken custody of the character of Nexus Prime due to their plans for the Thirteen. Because of this, Fun Pub will not be continuing his story. Thus, whether or not we will ever find out the fate of his quest to reunite the Star Saber remains in doubt—though Fun Pub were able to make a quick nod toward his continuing mission a few years later in issue #48 of their magazine.
*The sketchy relationship between the "Aligned" universe and the multiverse that Fun Publications' stories take place would suggest that the Saber's appearance in the Prime cartoon does not have any bearing on Nexus Prime's quest.
*The exact connection between Nexus Prime and the Star Saber in the Aligned novels is a bit of a mess, simply because Exiles is so riddled with plotting and continuity errors that it's hard to tell if the "Cyber Caliber" is actually a different sword from the Star Saber, or if the book just used the wrong name for a few pages. While continuity between the Prime cartoon and the novels is decidedly wobbly, the sword's later appearance in the cartoon—while probably not intended to solve the novel's errors—can be seen to suggest that Nexus never had the Star Saber, that just being another of the many myths surrounding the blade.
Swindle may buy and sell an arsenal's worth of weapons in a day, but he keeps an occasional piece of merchandise for himself. His scatter blaster fires a wide spray of explosive buckshot - perfect for keeping away dissatisfied customers.

Wildrider uses the similar scattershot gun, which he could've easily bought off of Swindle. If he shoots at anything, including small five story buildings in a fifty-square yard area, up to a 1/4 mile away, THE TERRORISTS WIN.

A popular short-range weapon during the Great War, the Scatter Blaster was commonly carried by Scout and Scientist class Transformers. Starscream, Skywarp, Breakdown, Ironhide, and Air Raid all favored this weapon. Surprisingly it is full auto. Transformers: War for Cybertron (360/PS3/PC)

Fall of Cybertron
They were still in use later in the war, as the Autobots readied the Ark for launch. At this point, the weapon was favoured by Jazz and Starscream, but not, surprisingly, Swindle. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
