==Synopsis==
With [[Decepticon]]s surrounding them and [[Sharkticon (BB)|Sharkticons]] circling in a tank below their feet, [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], [[David Reeve|Reeve]], and [[Diana Lux|Lux]] are forced to listen as [[Malignus (BB)|Malignus]] gloats about the success of his plan to slowly push [[Earth]]'s superpowers into a nuclear war. After humankind destroys itself, the way will be clear for the Decepticons to collect the many ancient [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertronian]] relics and treasures that litter the planet without interference! Bumblebee appeals to [[Diabla (BB)|Diabla]] for aid one last time, but she remains unmoved. Fortunately, Lux has a trick up her sleeve—she previously covertly modified the homing device Bumblebee tagged Diabla with to turn it into a bomb, which she now remotely detonates. The resultant blast takes out a chunk of the wall, and in the confusion, Bumblebee dives into the Sharkticon tank, converting his alternate mode into a submersible form to carry Reeve and Lux and using his "oil slick" to darken the waters, blinding and disorienting the metal-eating monsters. It's not quite enough, however; as 'Bee surfaces, one of the Sharkticons appears in front of him and lunges... only to be blown to bits by a shot from Diabla!

Before 'Bee can learn why Diabla is suddenly helping him, [[Runabout (BB)|Runabout]] alerts the other Decepticons to her betrayal. Exasperated with the whole ordeal, Malignus orders the cannibalistic [[Dead End (ROTF)|Dead End]] to eliminate ''all'' the other Decepticons while he initiates the final phase of his plan. After hitting away Runabout, Dead End aims to make Diabla and Bumblebee his next victims; 'Bee assumes Diabla will help him fight the monstrous Decepticon, but instead, she turns her weapons on 'Bee himself! Diabla isn't working with him ''or'' the Decepticons; it turns out our heroes' first guess was correct, and she's actually been secretly been working with human allies, specifically the Eastern Bloc crime syndicate [[E.I.D.O.L.O.N.]]. She merely saved Bumblebee from the Sharkticon so she could kill him herself.

Malignus, meanwhile, hits a switch on a control panel, and a nuclear missile rises up out of a concealed silo beneath the Sharkticon tank, with one of the hapless creatures still clinging to its nosecone. Realizing that Malignus intends to fire the missile at her human allies in the Soviet Union, and that England will be blamed for the attack, thereby triggering the war Malignus desires, Diabla leaves Bumblebee to Dead End and attempts to stop the missile before it can launch. Her way is barred by [[Blitzwing (BB)|Blitzwing]] and [[Astrotrain (DOTM)|Astrotrain]], but Astrotrain's heart isn't in it anymore; seeing Dead End sicced on his fellow Decepticons has given him reason enough to abandon Malignus, and he promptly transforms and flies off, leaving Blitzwing to fight Diabla alone.

With Transformers battling all around them, Reeve and Lux take on Malignus, whose spinning saw-blade hands make him a dangerous opponent. While Lux keeps the Decepticon mastermind busy, Reeve rushes to Bumblebee's side and calls on the Autobot to give him another of his modified explosive homing devices. Though distracted by his fight with Dead End, 'Bee complies, and Reeve takes the device, sneaks up behind Malignus, and jams it into the little Decepticon's neck. Lux detonates the device, and Malignus's is blown to pieces... but unfortunately, this does nothing to stop the missile from taking off. Diabla breaks off her brawl with Blitzwing and flies after the missile, watching as the Sharkticon holding onto it is shaken loose and sent plummeting back to Earth. Bumblebee positions Dead End so that the Sharkticon lands on top of him, freeing Bumblebee up to tackle Blitzwing, throwing off the [[Triple Changer]]'s aim just as he opens fire on Diabla. Blitzwing's wild shot hits the missile's propulsion system, and it spirals out of control, falling back down towards the combatants below. Bumblebee is so focused on calling out to Diabla to get clear that he doesn't notice Blitzwing and Dead End coming at him from opposite sides; fortunately, a cry from Reeve prompts him to duck at just the right moment, causing Blitzwing's shot to miss him and hit Dead End instead. 'Bee grabs Reeve and Lux and beats a hasty retreat, leaping outside and into the safety of the ocean as the missile hits, blowing up the Decepticons' base.

In the aftermath of the blast, Bumblebee calls out for Diabla, but there is no sign of her. Blitzwing and some others, however, has survived, and decides to flee rather than continue the fight. Reeve and Lux grab onto a tire bobbing in the ocean nearby to stay afloat; Bumblebee recognizes it as one of Diabla's, which Reeve assumes must mean she has perished, but Bumblebee draws the opposite conclusion, confident that she still lives. As he ferries his partners back to land, Bumblebee resolves to find Diabla... and if it turns out that he is wrong, and that she ''is'' dead... then he vows to get revenge.

Over the next twenty years, Bumblebee eventually parts ways with Reeve and Lux and travels the globe searching for Diabla. Ultimately, he is unable to find any trace of her, and switches to hunting Blitzwing, with the Decepticon repeatedly managing to slip through his fingers, over and over again down through the years. But finally, Bumbleebee tracks Blitzwing down, and the two prepare to to do battle again...

The cortical psyshic patch also released a powerful energy pulse, alerting the Decepticons Thundercracker and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]] to their location. Windblade, after coming to, immediately took to the skies to engage Nova Storm in a dogfight. She then instructed [[Stinger (weapon)|stinger]]-deprived Bumblebee to retreat to a nearby mineshaft, after which she used her detachable turbines to put Decepticons stuck beneath a pile of rubble until they escaped. She then set off to found the Decepticons' ship, which she thought could be used as additional computing power for the cortical patch procedure, but discovered that Bumblebee had rushed in without listening to her carefully detailed plan about how to infiltrate the ship. Entering the bridge, she set up the cortical patch again to enter Bumblebee's memories, using her [[Cityspeaker]] skills to guide him through the process. While Windblade hoped to recover the current location of the Ark, Bumblebee only managed to recover a small fragmented memory detailing the ship's launch... and memories of Windblade herself, finally recognizing her as his old friend. ''At some point in the past, a disoriented Bumblebee comes to on an icy mountainside, and is briefly confused by a mountain goat.''

In the present day, [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]], still inside Bumblebee's mind, finishes watching yet another memory. Although Bumblebee still can't remember anything meaningful about the location of the ''[[Ark (Cyberverse)|Ark]]'', Windblade finds the image of the mountain familiar and consults the ship's logs to determine that it matches a peak in the [[Himalayas]]. Leaving a disappointed Bumblebee to guard the ship, she sets off. In the meantime, Bumblebee distracts himself by watching some human [[television]] on the [[Decepticon scout ship|scout ship]]'s monitors.

Having arrived in the Himalayas, Windblade is unaware that her communications with Bumblebee have been picked up by the [[Decepticon]]s [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]]. Their commander [[Slipstream (Cyberverse)|Slipstream]] instructs them to follow the signal while she catches up with them.

Somewhere in the upper slopes of the mountain range, Windblade arrives at the spot she saw in Bumblebee's memory and uses her fans to reveal a [[stasis pod]] of [[Autobot]] manufacture and a blaster, both left abandoned in the snow. Unfortunately, that's all she finds: her scans are unable to pick up the ''Ark'' itself, and she's unaware that the Decepticons have tailed her to her present location until the three [[Seeker (Cyberverse)|Seeker]]s reveal themselves!

Captured by the Decepticons, Windblade is interrogated by Slipstream for information on the location of [[Optimus Prime (Cyberverse)|Optimus Prime]] and the other Autobots, her glib answers only infuriating Slipstream and providing her with the window to break free and escape. A battle ensues as Windblade makes her escape, and though Windblade is able to send Thundercracker tumbling off a cliff into the fog but is fine, Nova Storm proves a tougher foe, and Windblade herself is thrown off the same cliff. She successfully transforms, flying up and knocking Nova Storm unconscious, before uses her fans to drop Slipstream into the snow before finally making her escape.

Back at the ship, Windblade catches up with Bumblebee about her adventure, and happily presents him with his old blaster. Now, Windblade is certain that they're on the right track: the ''Ark'' is somewhere on Earth, and they'll have to find it before the Decepticons do!

The energy pulse released by [[Windblade (Cyberverse)|Windblade]]'s [[cortical psychic patch]] blasts across the desert, and, in the progress, knocks the [[Decepticon]]s [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]] off their feet. Alerted to the presence of Autobots on Earth, Nova Storm quickly takes command and informs her captain that they're setting off to investigate.

Not far away, both Windblade and a skeptical [[Bumblebee (Cyberverse)|Bumblebee]] come to. Given his recent experiences, Bumblebee is skeptical of Windblade, but before she can convince her old friend of her good intentions, the two Decepticon scouts zoom overhead! Windblade takes to the skies in a dogfight with Nova Storm while Bumblebee holds off Thundercracker, but the yellow Autobot discovers that his [[stinger (weapon)|stinger]] isn't working. Windblade orders him to fall back to the nearby mineshaft, where she uses her detachable turbines to bury the two Decepticons beneath a pile of rubble until they escaped. The encounter has given Windblade an idea, however, and the two set off to find [[Decepticon scout ship|the starship]] that the two Decepticons arrived in.

Arriving at the ship, Windblade explains her plan: by using the ship's systems for additional computing power, she'll be able to retry the cortical patch procedure, but when she begins to explain ''how'' they'll break in, she discovers that Bumblebee has already charged into the ship. Windblade follows, and finds Bumblebee playing with the ship's controls; hacking into the ship's mainframe, Windblade sets up another attempt to unscramble Bumblebee's memories, and uses her [[Cityspeaker]] skills to guide an apprehensive Bumblebee through the procedure. Inside his mind, a lucid Bumblebee learns how to tap into his undamaged memories, but despite Windblade's hopes that he'll be able to recover information relating to the location of the ''[[Ark (Cyberverse)|Ark]]'', Bumblebee can only unscramble a fragmentary memory of the ship's launch.

With [[Decepticon]]s surrounding them and [[Sharkticon (BB)|Sharkticons]] circling in a tank below their feet, [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]], [[David Reeve|Reeve]], and [[Diana Lux|Lux]] are forced to listen as [[Malignus (BB)|Malignus]] gloats about the success of his plan to slowly push [[Earth]]'s superpowers into a nuclear war. After humankind destroys itself, the way will be clear for the Decepticons to collect the many ancient [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertronian]] relics and treasures that litter the planet without interference! Bumblebee appeals to [[Diabla (BB)|Diabla]] for aid one last time, but she remains unmoved. Fortunately, Lux has a trick up her sleeve—she previously covertly modified the homing device Bumblebee tagged Diabla with to turn it into a bomb, which she now remotely detonates. The resultant blast takes out a chunk of the wall, and in the confusion, Bumblebee dives into the Sharkticon tank, converting his alternate mode into a submersible form to carry Reeve and Lux and using his "oil slick" to darken the waters, blinding and disorienting the metal-eating monsters. It's not quite enough, however; as 'Bee surfaces, one of the Sharkticons appears in front of him and lunges... only to be blown to bits by a shot from Diabla!

Before 'Bee can learn why Diabla is suddenly helping him, [[Runabout (BB)|Runabout]] alerts the other Decepticons to her betrayal. Exasperated with the whole ordeal, Malignus orders the cannibalistic [[Dead End (ROTF)|Dead End]] to eliminate ''all'' the other Decepticons while he initiates the final phase of his plan. After hitting away Runabout, Dead End aims to make Diabla and Bumblebee his next victims; 'Bee assumes Diabla will help him fight the monstrous Decepticon, but instead, she turns her weapons on 'Bee himself! Diabla isn't working with him ''or'' the Decepticons; it turns out our heroes' first guess was correct, and she's actually been secretly been working with human allies, specifically the Eastern Bloc crime syndicate [[E.I.D.O.L.O.N.]]. She merely saved Bumblebee from the Sharkticon so she could kill him herself.
Malignus, meanwhile, hits a switch on a control panel, and a nuclear missile rises up out of a concealed silo beneath the Sharkticon tank, with one of the hapless creatures still clinging to its nosecone. Realizing that Malignus intends to fire the missile at her human allies in the Soviet Union, and that England will be blamed for the attack, thereby triggering the war Malignus desires, Diabla leaves Bumblebee to Dead End and attempts to stop the missile before it can launch. Her way is barred by [[Blitzwing (BB)|Blitzwing]] and [[Astrotrain (DOTM)|Astrotrain]], but Astrotrain's heart isn't in it anymore; seeing Dead End sicced on his fellow Decepticons has given him reason enough to abandon Malignus, and he promptly transforms and flies off, leaving Blitzwing to fight Diabla alone.

With Transformers battling all around them, Reeve and Lux take on Malignus, whose spinning saw-blade hands make him a dangerous opponent. While Lux keeps the Decepticon mastermind busy, Reeve rushes to Bumblebee's side and calls on the Autobot to give him another of his modified explosive homing devices. Though distracted by his fight with Dead End, 'Bee complies, and Reeve takes the device, sneaks up behind Malignus, and jams it into the little Decepticon's neck. Lux detonates the device, and Malignus's is blown to pieces... but unfortunately, this does nothing to stop the missile from taking off. Diabla breaks off her brawl with Blitzwing and flies after the missile, watching as the Sharkticon holding onto it is shaken loose and sent plummeting back to Earth. Bumblebee positions Dead End so that the Sharkticon lands on top of him, freeing Bumblebee up to tackle Blitzwing, throwing off the [[Triple Changer]]'s aim just as he opens fire on Diabla. Blitzwing's wild shot hits the missile's propulsion system, and it spirals out of control, falling back down towards the combatants below. Bumblebee is so focused on calling out to Diabla to get clear that he doesn't notice Blitzwing and Dead End coming at him from opposite sides; fortunately, a cry from Reeve prompts him to duck at just the right moment, causing Blitzwing's shot to miss him and hit Dead End instead. 'Bee grabs Reeve and Lux and beats a hasty retreat, leaping outside and into the safety of the ocean as the missile hits, blowing up the Decepticons' base.

In the aftermath of the blast, Bumblebee calls out for Diabla, but there is no sign of her. Blitzwing and some others, however, has survived, and decides to flee rather than continue the fight. Reeve and Lux grab onto a tire bobbing in the ocean nearby to stay afloat; Bumblebee recognizes it as one of Diabla's, which Reeve assumes must mean she has perished, but Bumblebee draws the opposite conclusion, confident that she still lives. As he ferries his partners back to land, Bumblebee resolves to find Diabla... and if it turns out that he is wrong, and that she ''is'' dead... then he vows to get revenge.

Over the next twenty years, Bumblebee eventually parts ways with Reeve and Lux and travels the globe searching for Diabla. Ultimately, he is unable to find any trace of her, and switches to hunting Blitzwing, with the Decepticon repeatedly managing to slip through his fingers, over and over again down through the years. But finally, Bumbleebee tracks Blitzwing down, and the two prepare to to do battle again...

Although Bumblebee still can't remember anything meaningful about the location of the ''[[Ark (Cyberverse)|Ark]]'', Windblade finds the image of the mountain familiar and consults the ship's logs to determine that it matches a peak in the [[Himalayas]]. Leaving a disappointed Bumblebee to guard the ship, she sets off. In the meantime, Bumblebee distracts himself by watching some human [[television]] on the [[Decepticon scout ship|scout ship]]'s monitors.

Having arrived in the Himalayas, Windblade is unaware that her communications with Bumblebee have been picked up by the [[Decepticon]]s [[Thundercracker (Cyberverse)|Thundercracker]] and [[Nova Storm (Cyberverse)|Nova Storm]]. Their commander [[Slipstream (Cyberverse)|Slipstream]] instructs them to follow the signal while she catches up with them.

Somewhere in the upper slopes of the mountain range, Windblade arrives at the spot she saw in Bumblebee's memory and uses her fans to reveal a [[stasis pod]] of [[Autobot]] manufacture and a blaster, both left abandoned in the snow. Unfortunately, that's all she finds: her scans are unable to pick up the ''Ark'' itself, and she's unaware that the Decepticons have tailed her to her present location until the three [[Seeker (Cyberverse)|Seeker]]s reveal themselves!

Alerted to the presence of Autobots on Earth, Nova Storm quickly takes command and informs her captain that they're setting off to investigate.

Not far away, both Windblade and a skeptical [[Bumblebee (Cyberverse)|Bumblebee]] come to. Given his recent experiences, Bumblebee is skeptical of Windblade, but before she can convince her old friend of her good intentions, the two Decepticon scouts zoom overhead! Windblade takes to the skies in a dogfight with Nova Storm while Bumblebee holds off Thundercracker, but the yellow Autobot discovers that his [[stinger (weapon)|stinger]] isn't working. Windblade orders him to fall back to the nearby mineshaft, where she uses her detachable turbines to put Decepticons stuck beneath a pile of rubble. The encounter has given Windblade an idea, however, and the two set off to find the starship that the two Decepticons arrived in.

Arriving at the ship, Windblade explains her plan: by using the ship's systems for additional computing power, she'll be able to retry the cortical patch procedure, but when she begins to explain ''how'' they'll break in, she discovers that Bumblebee has already charged into the ship. Windblade follows, and finds Bumblebee playing with the ship's controls; hacking into the ship's mainframe, Windblade sets up another attempt to unscramble Bumblebee's memories, and uses her [[Cityspeaker]] skills to guide an apprehensive Bumblebee through the procedure. Inside his mind, a lucid Bumblebee

Missiles slam into [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] from behind, knocking him off the roof and sending him crashing to the street below, but the little [[Autobot]] survives the blast and looks up at his approaching attacker: the [[Triple Changer|triple-changing]] [[Decepticon]] [[Blitzwing (BB)|Blitzwing]]! Blitzwing is out for revenge after being left near death following an encounter with Bumblebee a thousand years ago on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], and Bumblebee remembers him well, still blaming him for "convincing" [[Diabla (BB)|Diabla]] to switch sides. Both Blitzwing and Diabla point out once more that Diabla was ''never'' an Autobot, having always been an undercover Decepticon spy... though Blitzwing suspects Diabla ''may'' be going soft when she asks him to kill Bumblebee ''quickly'', rather than allow him to suffer. While [[David Reeve|Reeve]] and [[Diana Lux|Lux]] try to evade the clutches of [[Dead End (ROTF)|Dead End]], Bumblebee engages Blitzwing but quickly realizes he is physically outmatched. Rather than prolong the fight, 'Bee instead shoots a gas main beneath the street, using the resultant explosion as cover to scoop up Reeve and Lux and flee into the London Underground. Unfortunately, he starts driving the wrong way down the tracks, and soon finds himself backing up at high speed to keep ahead of an oncoming train! Worse yet, Diabla catches up to them and attacks from behind, with Bumblebee unable to defend himself thanks to almost all of his vehicle-mode weaponry being front-facing! He opens fire with the one rear-facing gun he has, which seems to have no effect, so he instead transforms to robot mode, leaping out of the way of the train and leaving it to crash into the surprised Diabla.

After the trio make good their escape, Reeve makes contact with an "old friend" who may be able to help them. That evening, Bumblebee, Reeve, and Lux head for Hyde Park to rendezvous with this new ally, but when Reeve thinks he spots his friend sitting on a park bench, the figure turns out to be a disguised mannequin. Things look bad, and immediately get worse when Dead End, [[Runabout (BB)|Runabout]] and [[Astrotrain (DOTM)|Astrotrain]] appear and surround the heroes, declaring their intent to capture Bumblebee and bring him before their mysterious "boss." Suddenly, an electric blast strikes the Decepticons, knocking them unconscious—courtesy of Reeve's old friend, [[Sector Seven]] agent [[Heath Donavan]]! Donavan explains that he is in the country to covertly keep tabs on Bumblebee following the Autobot's assignment to [[P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.]]; it's only his off-the-books status that has prevented the Decepticons from learning about him and eliminating him like they have so many others. As the group put some distance between themselves and the unconscious Decepticons, Donavan shows the trio film reels that Sector Seven has managed to acquire of numerous assassinations the evil robots have carried out around the globe and pinned on other nations—including that of P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.'s own on-loan agent, [[Ian Byrde]]. Footage of [[Konrad Gotell]]'s death includes the mastermind behind the plot killing Gotell with his own hands: a masked human-sized figure, seemingly confirming the heroes' suspicion that the Decepticons are in league with human co-conspirators. With the world inching closer to nuclear war thanks to the Decepticons' efforts to turn the planet's superpowers against one another, it is imperative that the team locate the villains and put a stop to their plan... and fortunately, Bumblebee knows just where they are, the seemingly "ineffectual" gun that he fired during their battle in the Underground having actually tagged Diabla with a homing device!

A few hours later, Bumblebee, Reeve, and Lux are strapped to the underside of Donavan's Lockheed stealth jet and preparing to HALO jump onto the Decepticons' secret headquarters in an abandoned castle on a peninsula. Just as they drop, Lux believes she hears [[Jetfire (ROTF)|the jet ''talk'']]... but Reeve writes it off as her imagination. As they land outside the castle, Bumblebee knocks the [[Darksteel (DOTM)|lone Decepticon guard]] unconscious and the trio head inside, where they find that the castle's first chamber is one huge shark tank! Bumblebee is unafraid, confident his metal body means sharks pose no danger, and begins to cross over the bridge spanning the tank... only to find that the waters hide not ordinary sharks, but [[Sharkticon (BB)|Sharkti''cons'']], who are all too eager to take a bite out of the Autobot's hide! Just then, the walls of the room split and slide open, revealing the assembled forces of the Decepticons, who have been waiting for Bumblebee's arrival after discovering his tracking device. At their feet stands their master... not a human at all, but a tiny Decepticon named [[Malignus (BB)|Malignus]], who gleefully announces his intent to make humanity extinct!

Missiles slam into [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] from behind, knocking him off the roof and sending him crashing to the street below, but the little [[Autobot]] survives the blast and looks up at his approaching attacker: the [[Triple Changer|triple-changing]] [[Decepticon]] [[Blitzwing (BB)|Blitzwing]]! Blitzwing is out for revenge after being left near death following an encounter with Bumblebee a thousand years ago on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]], and Bumblebee remembers him well, still blaming him for "convincing" [[Diabla (BB)|Diabla]] to switch sides. Both Blitzwing and Diabla point out once more that Diabla was ''never'' an Autobot, having always been an undercover Decepticon spy... though Blitzwing suspects Diabla ''may'' be going soft when she asks him to kill Bumblebee ''quickly'', rather than allow him to suffer. While [[David Reeve|Reeve]] and [[Diana Lux|Lux]] try to evade the clutches of [[Dead End (ROTF)|Dead End]], Bumblebee engages Blitzwing but quickly realizes he is physically outmatched. Rather than prolong the fight, 'Bee instead shoots a gas main beneath the street, using the resultant explosion as cover to scoop up Reeve and Lux and flee into the London Underground. Unfortunately, he starts driving the wrong way down the tracks, and soon finds himself backing up at high speed to keep ahead of an oncoming train! Worse yet, Diabla catches up to them and attacks from behind, with Bumblebee unable to defend himself thanks to almost all of his vehicle-mode weaponry being front-facing! He opens fire with the one rear-facing gun he has, which seems to have no effect, so he instead transforms to robot mode, leaping out of the way of the train and leaving it to crash into the surprised Diabla.

After the trio make good their escape, Reeve makes contact with an "old friend" who may be able to help them. That evening, Bumblebee, Reeve, and Lux head for Hyde Park to rendezvous with this new ally, but when Reeve thinks he spots his friend sitting on a park bench, the figure turns out to be a disguised mannequin. Things look bad, and immediately get worse when Dead End, [[Runabout (BB)|Runabout]] and [[Astrotrain (DOTM)|Astrotrain]] appear and surround the heroes, declaring their intent to capture Bumblebee and bring him before their mysterious "boss." Suddenly, an electric blast strikes the Decepticons, knocking them offline—courtesy of Reeve's old friend, [[Sector Seven]] agent [[Heath Donavan]]! Donavan explains that he is in the country to covertly keep tabs on Bumblebee following the Autobot's assignment to [[P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.]]; it's only his off-the-books status that has prevented the Decepticons from learning about him and eliminating him like they have so many others. As the group put some distance between themselves and the unconscious Decepticons, Donavan shows the trio film reels that Sector Seven has managed to acquire of numerous assassinations the evil robots have carried out around the globe and pinned on other nations—including that of P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.'s own on-loan agent, [[Ian Byrde]]. Footage of [[Konrad Gotell]]'s death includes the mastermind behind the plot killing Gotell with his own hands: a masked human-sized figure, seemingly confirming the heroes' suspicion that the Decepticons are in league with human co-conspirators. With the world inching closer to nuclear war thanks to the Decepticons' efforts to turn the planet's superpowers against one another, it is imperative that the team locate the villains and put a stop to their plan... and fortunately, Bumblebee knows just where they are, the seemingly "ineffectual" gun that he fired during their battle in the Underground having actually tagged Diabla with a homing device!

A few hours later, Bumblebee, Reeve, and Lux are strapped to the underside of Donavan's Lockheed stealth jet and preparing to HALO jump onto the Decepticons' secret headquarters in an abandoned castle on a peninsula. Just as they drop, Lux believes she hears [[Jetfire (ROTF)|the jet ''talk'']]... but Reeve writes it off as her imagination. As they land outside the castle, Bumblebee knocks the lone Decepticon guard unconscious [[Darksteel (DOTM)|Darksteel]] and the trio head inside, where they find that the castle's first chamber is one huge shark tank! Bumblebee is unafraid, confident his metal body means sharks pose no danger, and begins to cross over the bridge spanning the tank... only to find that the waters hide not ordinary sharks, but [[Sharkticon (BB)|Sharkti''cons'']], who are all too eager to take a bite out of the Autobot's hide! Just then, the walls of the room split and slide open, revealing the assembled forces of the Decepticons, who have been waiting for Bumblebee's arrival after discovering his tracking device. At their feet stands their master... not a human at all, but a tiny Decepticon named [[Malignus (BB)|Malignus]], who gleefully announces his intent to make humanity extinct!

This IDW-original character first appeared in the ''[[Transformers: Foundation|Foundation]]'' and ''[[Transformers: Rising Storm|Rising Storm]]'' mini-series in 2011; he's got a new design here, with his flaring shoulder-wings and a chestplate that make him look a lot more like his [[Astrotrain (G1)|Generation 1 predecessor]] than he previously did. ==Synopsis==
It's [[1964]] and, following his adventures in [[World War II]], [[Bumblebee (Movie)|Bumblebee]] is now working with British intelligence agency [[P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.]] under the codename "Goldwheels," partnered with Agent Omega Zero, [[David Reeve]]. Reeve and Bumblebee are sent to [[Germany|East Berlin]] to track down [[Konrad Gotell]], head of the crime syndicate [[E.I.D.O.L.O.N.]], with Reeve infiltrating the organization's facility and Bumblebee poised for exfiltration once the job is complete. Reeve disguises himself as an E.I.D.O.L.O.N. goon, but his ruse is seen through when he knocks out one of the other henchmen who bars his way. Nevertheless, the resourceful Reeve is able to use a variety of concealed gadgets and gizmos—along with fully-licensed lethal force—to take out the enemy agents, navigate the traps separating him from Gottel's office, and pick the lock on the office door... but it turns out that someone has gotten to Gottel before him. Reeve finds the villain quite dead, dagger still sticking out of the stab wound in his chest, with explosives strapped to his body. Reeve leaps out the window as the explosives go off, and as he falls, radios Bumblebee for pick-up... but the car that comes speeding towards him, transforms to robot mode, and snatches him out of the air is ''not'' Bumblebee... but the [[Decepticon]] [[Wild Rider|Wildrider]]! Bumblebee, it turns out, has been delayed by an encounter with the German State Security Service, who are chasing him through the streets of Berlin—but he is able to outpace them, and arrives on the scene just before Wildrider can crush Reeve. Bumblebee tackles Wildrider through the Berlin Wall, and knocks him unconscious with a piece of rubble.

Bumblebee and Reeve return to [[United Kingdom|England]] to meet with P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E. director [[Pelham]] at [[Maundy Gregory Studio]], one of the organization's bases hidden in plain sight as a recording studio. It turns out Pelham is running late, but agent [[Diana Lux]] begins the briefing anyway, filling Reeve in on intel provided by the American [[Sector Seven]]: Wildrider has been working with two other Decepticons familiar to Reeve, [[Runabout (Bumblebee)|Runabout]] and [[Diabla (Bumblebee)|Diabla]], and stranger still, all available evidence indicates that the Decepticons are in cahoots with an unknown ''human'' enemy.

Outside the studio, Bumblebee is grumbling to himself about being left out in the rain when Director Pelahm's car pulls up. Just as Bumblebee is thinking about telling the old man off, Pelham falls from the car onto the pavement... dead from a dagger wound to the chest, with explosives strapped to him, just like Gotell! Bee has barely a second to warn Reeve before the blast takes out the studio; Reeve and Lux survive, but Agent [[Parson]] is killed. Pelham's car takes off, and Bumblebee gives chase, only to be rammed from the side by another car: the new arrival is Diabla, and Pelham's car is Runabout! Reeve and Lux emerge from the wreckage of the studio as Bumblebee engages the two Decepticons in battle; Diabla opens fire on the two humans, but Bumblebee blocks her shots with his body. 'Bee believes this behavior does not represent who Diabla truly is; he claims she was once an [[Autobot]] who switched sides, but Diabla explains that she was ''always'' a Decepticon, who merely served as a spy within the Autobots' ranks for [[Megatron (Movie)|Megatron]]. At Lux's suggestion, in order to protect civilians, Reeve orders Bumblebee to fall back, and the Autobot does so, scooping up the two agents, transforming to vehicle mode, and beating retreat, leaving an oil slick in his wake to slip up the Decepticons and prevent them from giving chase.

From a phone booth on Victoria Embankment, Reeve contacts P.R.O.G.R.A.M.M.E.'s senior organization [[B.A.S.E.S.T.A.T.I.O.N.]] on a secure line, delivering his report. The team's tactical specialists, the [[E.G.G.H.E.A.D.]]s, take the destruction of Maundy Gregory Studio as proof of a hypothesis they have been working on: an agent operating out of the studio is working with the Decepticons. With Pelham and Parson dead, only Reeve, Lux, and Bumblebee remain, and Reeve is informed that they are hereby sanctioned: they will receive no contact or aid from the intelligence services until the compromised agent is confirmed eliminated. Knowing what he has to do, Reeve hangs up, unholsters his pistol, and leaves the booth...

Though the original [[Transformers: Movie Prequel|2007 movie prequel]] showed Bumblebee arriving on Earth in the 2000s, the 2017 film ''[[Transformers: The Last Knight (film)|The Last Knight]]'' would reveal that he had been on the planet since at least the 1940s and had fought alongside the Allies in [[World War II]]. The series refrains from addressing the discontinuity, and simply runs with the ''Last Knight'' setup; the story is set at the midpoint between his 1940s WWII adventure and the 1980s setting of the upcoming [[Bumblebee (film)|''Bumblebee'' movie]] to which it is a prequel, the 1960s, and 'Bee is still working for the British government.

*On Page 6, as Bumblebee flees the Stasi through the streets of Berlin, a sign in the background identifies the street as: "Walther P.Strasse.38." This is an allusion to the Walther P38 pistol, which many ''Transformers'' fans will recognize as the alternate mode of [[Megatron (G1)|the original Generation 1 Megatron]]—but its inclusion here is more specifically a nod to the fact that it was the {{w|The Man from UNCLE Gun|signature weapon}} of Napoleon Solo from ''The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'' In fact, the original Megatron toy was specifically ''based'' on the special modified appearance of the "U.N.C.L.E. gun", with its silencer, stock, and scope! *Reeve's quip (quoted above) about a "driving license to kill" refers to Bond's famous "license to kill" (the permission granted him by his superiors to take lives when necessary), used as the title of {{w|Licence to Kill|his 1989 film}}.
*When Bumblebee and Wildrider crash through the Berlin Wall, broken fragments of a sign happen to fall in such a way that they spell out "ACHTUNG ßE BE," an allusion to the {{w|U2}} album ''{{w|Achtung Baby}}'', written and recorded in Berlin. That, in turn, is likely a reference to the fact that U2 frontmen {{w|Bono}} and {{w|The Edge}} wrote the {{w|GoldenEye (song)|theme song}} for the Bond movie ''{{w|GoldenEye}}.''
*After the opening action sequence, the comic has a splashy two-page "title sequence" with a Bond movie-style dramatic power ballad theme song that seems particularly evocative of the themes to ''You Only Live Twice'' and ''{{w|Thunderball (film)|Thunderball}}''. Its six panels show "clips" of Reeve and Bumblebee in action in various locales with various beautiful, deadly, ethnically-diverse women, referencing several classic Bond scenes, like the ski chase and Union Jack parachute scene from ''{{w|The Spy Who Loved Me (film)|The Spy Who Loved Me}}'' (only here, it's Bumblebee with an Autobot symbol parachute) and the time he wore a fake duck on his head to disguise himself while swimming in ''Goldfinger'' (Reeve does the same, while Bumblebee uses a fake walrus!).
