No Decepticon leader wants '''Fangry''' under his command. The rebellious, foul-mouthed Fangry explodes violently against any being who dares give him an order. He has attacked almost as many unfortunate Decepticons as he has their actual enemies, the Autobots. A Decepticon with a healthy sense of self-preservation will give Fangry orders in the form of mild suggestions or reverse psychology.

Fangry has complete faith in only his judgment and his alone. Unwilling to listen to advice, his tactics are notoriously flawed. Furthermore, he's likely to be abandoned on the battlefield when in trouble. The mere act of coming to his rescue implies he needs help at all -- and, well, you know how he reacts to that idea.

Fangry and his partner Brisko oversaw part of the Z Foundation's attempt at recruiting humans to take down the Autobots for them. When [[Bludgeon (G1)|Bludgeon]] assumed command of the Decepticons after the war with Unicron, Fangry was quick to assert his independence, especially given his unease with the Autobot/Decepticon alliance that had tenuously been forged in the aftermath. To be honest, Autobot commander [[Grimlock (G1)|Grimlock]] didn't make things any easier by throwing cups of oil at Fangry's head to shut him up (and what was Grimlock ''doing'' with a cup anyway? He has no mouth!). Fangry tried to jump Grimlock later that night, but bit off more than he could chew since Grimmie had just received his spiffy new [[Actionmaster]] upgrade. His public humiliation did serve a purpose, however, as it gave Bludgeon a rallying point to ensure his fellow Decepticons were willing to end the alliance abruptly, and leave the Autobots stranded on Cybertron. Fangry accompanied Bludgeon and the Decepticons to the massacre on planet [[Klo]], and after the Autobots arrived and were successfully ambushed, Fangry served as lead tracker hunting the remaining five Autobots. Fangry appears rather briefly as part of Bludgeon's [[Warworld]]-Decepticons during their Prime-baiting attack against Earth. In the course of the operation he brandishes a pair of guns, though never actually attacks anything with them, and transforms all of once. While he presumably survives [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]]'s return and Bludgeon's resulting... er, "retirement", he is not actually seen afterward. Most likely, he's trying to collect those five triliters of Energon resin he owes Starscream because of a bet they made about the Bludgeon-Megatron battle's outcome.

'''Grotusque''' laughs at life and everything in it. Why shouldn't he when nothing out there could ever be as frightening as his own reflection in the mirror? Still, Grotusque gamely laughs off even his own hideous apearence and alternate mode with a joke about [[Primus]] having had a little '''too''' much high-grade [[energon]] that day.

He's jovial, upbeat, and irreverent by nature despite his frightening exterior. To the frequent amusement (and sometimes annoyance) of his comrades, Grotusque can be counted on to fill the air with laughter and lighthearted jokes in even the darkest or least appropriate of situations. To their dismay he's simply incapable of taking ''anything'' totally seriously. Yet they have little other reason to complain, Grotusque's courage is legendary and he's a top-notch fighter. He's also quite brilliant at his function as strategist, with a sharp and analytical mind that's perfect for planning masterful campaigns (and witty quips). Fighting is fun, in Grotusque's opinion, or he simply wouldn't do it, and, in the end, death is as much a joke as life, so smile and laugh a little, and enjoy yourself while you're here.

Conflicts with the locals made this difficult, and those conflicts were only exacerbated by the Decepticons' arrival and subsequent [[binary bonding]] with a deceitful group of local Nebulans, including the pairing of Decepticon leader [[Scorponok (G1)|Scorponok]] with high-ranking official [[Zarak|Lord Zarak]]. Zarak turned the Nebulan people against the Autobots, portraying the Decepticons as public heroes even as they raided Nebulos's resources to serve the lust for power of both Zarak and Scorponok. When the Decepticons attempted to take control of the Mercury Gardens, the Monsterbots and several comrades attempted to stop them. They failed -- not only did the Decepticon [[Headmaster|Headmasters]] kill every Autobot but the escaping Monsterbots, they also successfully proclaimed their heroism to the media for driving off the Autobot "attackers".

Just about the only thing they can agree with themselves on is destroying [[Decepticons]]. Thankfully they are, at least, good at that.

Though he doesn't give slag for authority or decency, Repugnus always does his job well.

Man, does he love his job. He'll describe, with relish, how he clawed an enemy within an inch of his life, then beat the bastard's head to a fuel-soaked wad of scrap metal with his own torn-off leg unit. He'll also add plenty of profanities and colorful idioms to the story. His friends would find this disturbing, if he had any.

The three Monsterbots were among the dozens of Autobots who joined Fortress Maximus's crew aboard the Steelhaven, as the Autobot commander sought to lead his people away from the war on Cybertron. Resettling on the planet Nebulos, their peace was short-lived. {{storylink|Ring of Hate!}} Scorponok's Decepticons followed them and waged war anew against the Autobots.

The Monsterbots were among a squad of Autobots who attempted to stop a Decepticon takeover of the [[Mercury Gardens of Melanossus]]. Though they fought fiercely, the Decepticon Headmasters were too powerful. Grotusque realized the gardens were being destroyed by the battle, and -- over Repugnus's protests -- ordered a retreat. Throughout the Beast Wars Terrorsaur turned on Megatron at the drop of a hat, and was willing to team up with anyone who suggested doing so. ==Trivia==
* Terrorsaur apparently knows how to disarm a bomb (if he has enough time), since in Equal Measures Megatron orders him to disarm the Maximal bomb that was sent in the Predacon base.
* As Terrorsaur was dying in lava, his hand was briefly seen glowing, indicating that Terrorsaur was going through [[transmetal|transmetalization]]. This was probably included as a "Trap Door" so the writers could resurrect Terrorsaur or Scorponok if they needed them later.

* Terrorsaur's CGI model in "Theft of the Golden Disc" is based on [[Skyblast]] with a new head design. However, his CGI model is slightly different from his appearance in "Dawn of Future's Past".
