'''As if searching for Starscream and decoding a mysterious message from Cybertron wasn't trouble enough for the Autobots, Megatron and the Decepticons are free and back on Earth!'''

==Synopsis==

[[Image:Cyb_ep26_you_shall_not_pass.jpg|left|thumb|220px]]

Out in space, riding atop an asteroid, [[Crumplezone (Cybertron)|Crumplezone]] leads [[Scourge (Cybertron)|Scourge]] to the sphere holding [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] and the other [[Decepticon]]s prisoner. Scourge's flame breath and axe fail to even make a dent in the globe, but Megatron knows that it is only a matter of time until he is free.

On [[Earth]], the [[Autobot]]s are confronted by [[Colonel Franklin]], who tells them his story. As a child, he fell into the [[Green River Rapids]], and was rescued by a shadowy figure that changed shape into a helicopter. Nobody ever believed his story, but he knew what he had seen was real, and dedicated himself to finding other such stories. As he grew older, he joined the military to further his search for the truth, and now, it's standing right in front of him. It even turns out that his rescuer was [[Evac (Cybertron)|Evac]]! Now that everyone at last realizes that Colonel Franklin is on the side of the angels, he offers up all his military resources to help the Autobots find [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]] and the stolen [[Omega Lock]] and [[Cyber Planet Key]]s.

[[Image:Cyb_ep26_starscream_with_key.jpg|right|thumb|220px]]

In the seas of the South Pacific, one of the [[Ancient Decepticon]]s awakened by Starscream, the wily [[Thunderblast (Decepticon)|Thunderblast]], is out looking for some fun, and scans a human speedboat for an [[alternate mode]]. As she is enjoying the sun and surf, [[Jetfire (Armada)|Jetfire]] appears in the sky overhead. They fight briefly, before Thunderblast suddenly vanishes into thin air. Jetfire transmits the info to the Autobot base, where [[Scattorshot (Cybertron)|Scattorshot]] deduces that Thunderblast has disappeared into a [[Camouflage Shield]] that is hiding something in the middle of the ocean. That something, as we soon learn, is a volcanic island that Starscream is using as a staging base, to which Thunderblast returns, arriving just in time to witness Starscream adding the Earth's Cyber Planet Key to the Omega Lock. As in the past, the addition of the key causes the lock to open a [[space bridge]], launching a beam of energy into space, and into the heart of the [[Unicron Singularity|black hole]]. Across the galaxy, on [[Velocitron]], on [[Jungle Planet (Cybertron)|Jungle Planet]] and on Earth, a space bridge portal hangs in the sky, displaying the terrifying image of the black hole to all onlookers. Concerns over the secrecy of the Autobots' mission have to be put on the back burner, however, when a strange energy burst is detected by the Autobots' computers. Despite fears that it has come from the black hole or the space bridge, it turns out that it is a encrypted signal sent back from Cybertron itself, a response to the original signal the Omega Lock sent out in the past.

In space, Scourge and Megatron combine their power, striking the sphere from within and without simultaneously. The tactic succeeds in shattering the sphere, freeing the Decepticons within, and Megatron immediately plans to head for Earth and revenge himself upon Starscream. Scourge requests that he be allowed to join Megatron, as he hungers to visit new worlds and experience new challenges. Megatron permits it, and the group leaves through a [[dimension gate]].

[[Image: Cyb_ep26_message.jpg|left|thumb|220px]]

Back on Earth, [[Red Alert (Armada)|Red Alert]] and [[Vector Prime]] have decrypted all they can of the signal from Cybertron, which seems to be telling the Autobots to bring the Omega Lock and Cyber Planet Keys back to the planet. Of course, they have to get them back from Starscream, first...but before they can start making plans to do so, Megatron's dimension gate appears in the sky above [[Niagara Falls]]. Acting quickly, Prime's team calls upon the help of several refugee Autobots to evacuate the humans out of the surrounding area with warnings of a tornado, after which Scattorshot surrounds it with a camouflage shield to hide what is about to transpire. The Autobots roll out for Niagara Falls and meet Megatron's forces there, but when both sides admit that there are more pressing concerns at hand, the Decepticons attempt to depart. As letting them go is not an option, Optimus Prime opens fire on their dimension gate, collapsing it, and starting off a major battle. As [[Override (Cybertron)|Override]] and [[Crosswise (Cybertron)|Crosswise]] deal with Crumplezone and [[Ransack (Cybertron)|Ransack]], and [[Overhaul (Cybertron)|Leobreaker]] and [[Snarl (Cybertron)|Snarl]] clash with Scourge, [[Landmine (Energon)|Landmine]] is confronted by [[Mudflap (Cybertron)|Mudflap]] and almost paralyzed with shock. Vector Prime comes to his aid, and Landmine reveals that he practically raised Mudflap back on Cybertron.

[[Image:Cyb ep26 machine gunned.jpg|right|thumb|220px]]

Megatron and Prime go head-to-head, meanwhile, but their battle is interrupted by Red Alert, Scattorshot and [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]], who entreat their leader to help Leobreaker and Snarl, who have been trapped by Scourge's flame, while they hold off Megatron. Prime does so, and the three Autobot troops give a surprisingly good account of themselves against the much more powerful Decepticon leader. As his rage at being thwarted by weaker warriors boils over, Megatron taps into the power of the Omega Lock and Earth's Cyber Planet Key. The Lock fires a beam of energy around the planet, which strikes Megatron and unlocks in him a new [[Cyber Key]] Power: a powerful machine gun that he uses to mow down Hot Shot, Red Alert and Scattorshot in one deadly volley. Optimus Prime turns in time to see his warriors fall, and charges at Megatron with a howl of fury...

==Notes==
===Differences with ''Galaxy Force''===
*As ever, ''Cybertron'' adds the customary reference to the [[Omega Frequency]] when the Omega Lock is fired up.
*''Galaxy Force'' sees Bud see a lot of rather uncharacteristic scientific observations, as he tells Lori that a normal black hole could never expand, and that it wouldn't return anything sent into it. ''Cybertron'' just replaces it with him making jokes (mostly about brownies). In large part, this change is also necessitated by the fact that in ''Galaxy Force'', it's a lead into the shocking discovery that Cybertron is still intact within the black hole. Since ''Cybertron'' changed things so that the planet was never consumed in the first place, this lead-in is entirely unnecessary, and excised.
*When the battle starts, Crumplezone and Ransack transform and...just drive off. ''Galaxy Force'' gives no reason for this odd "tactic", least of all why Override should bother following a fleeing enemy, so ''Cybertron'' adds the explanation that they are attempting to exit the camouflage shield.
*In ''Cybertron'', Mudflap is much more apologetic to Landmine, and would rather not fight him if he could avoid it. In ''Galaxy Force'', he's terribly righteous. Jerk.

===Animation and/or technical glitches===
*When the Autobots confront Megatron, a dubbing error sees Optimus Prime deliver a prolonged speech while Vector Prime's mouth is moving, carrying on directly into when his own mouth starts moving.

===Continuity errors===
*The sphere containing Megatron and the Decepticons has changed from an opaque metallic globe to a translucent purple shimmering one.
*Vector Prime claims that a signal was sent into space "each time" a Cyber Planet Key was placed into the Omega Lock, when it only happened with the Velocitron Key. The error is not present in ''Galaxy Force'', where Vector Prime only mentions the Velocitron Key incident.

===Transformers references===
* When faced with Leobreaker and Snarl, Scourge transforms to beast mode himself, with the promise of giving them a "[[Beast Wars (franchise)|Beast War]]".
* A black tanker truck resembling ''[[Robots in Disguise (franchise)|Robots in Disguise]]'' [[Scourge (RID)|Scourge]] can be seen in the traffic jam created by the Autobot refugees after Scattorshot tries to stop Megatron's warp gate.

===Real-world references===
* In response to the sight of Scourge unleashing his fire breath, Crumplezone gasps "Woah, flame on!", quoting the catchphrase of superhero the [[Human Torch]], a member of the [[Fantastic Four]].

===Trivia===
* "Revelation" was the last episode of the series to premiere on [[Kids' WB]], and the final new episode to air in 2005. When the series returned in 2006, it was back on [[Cartoon Network]].
* Scourge is not voiced by [[Trevor Devall]] in this episode, but the identity of the stand-in actor is unknown.
* As in "[[Retreat]]", actress [[Chiara Zanni]] stands in for [[Sarah Edmondson]] as Lori for ths episode. She will do so once more, in "[[Inferno (episode)|Inferno]]".
*''Cybertron'' has Thunderblast intimate that Crosswise only sealed her away thirty years ago. While not impossible, that just doesn't seem long enough ago, really, does it?
*When the Decepticons arrive on Earth, Crumplezone gets the planet's name wrong, calling it "Dirt". The same joke would later be made in the ''[[Revenge of the Fallen (film)|Revenge of the Fallen]]'' movie by [[Jetfire (ROTF)|Jetfire]].
'''Following the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s destruction, the new Dinobots are unleashed! But what ancient horror is behind Grimlock's miraculous transformation?'''

==Synopsis==
The [[Decepticon]]s, led by [[Megatron (SG)|Megatron]], and the [[Autobot]]s, led by [[Optimus Prime (SG)|Optimus Prime]], are battling for control of the [[Arch-Ayr]] fuel dump. [[Soundwave (SG)|Soundwave]] arrives with the [[Mayhem Suppression Squad]], forcing the Autobots to withdraw. A thunderous clatter heralds the coming of [[Grimlock (Shattered Glass)|Grimlock]] and the [[Dinobot (SG)|Dinobots]], controlled by [[Wheeljack (SG)|Wheeljack]]. The mad scientist vows revenge on Optimus Prime. Optimus, however, convinces Wheeljack to use his [[ember]]less monsters against the Decepticons. But when ordered to attack, the Dinobots turn on each other and scatter.

Back at the Autobot base, Optimus vents his anger at [[Blurr (SG)|Blurr]] and [[Side Burn (RID)|Side Burn]]. He orders all available Autobots to bring back the Dinobots for reprograming. Meanwhile, Megatron comes to the same conclusion, sending some top Decepticons after the beasts.

Some time later, [[Cliffjumper (SG)|Cliffjumper]] and [[Sideswipe (SG)|Sideswipe]] locate [[Slugfest (Shattered Glass)|Slugfest]]. But the hulking [[Goryu (SG)|Goryu]] comes to the small Dinobot's aid.

Elsewhere, [[Jazz (SG)|Jazz]], [[Goldbug (SG)|Goldbug]], [[Rodimus (SG)|Rodimus]], and [[Blurr (SG)|Blurr]] debate who will climb a tower to retrieve [[Swoop (SG)|Swoop]].

Cliffjumper and Sideswipe finally defeat the two Dinobots and go after an Autobot passing on the horizon. When cornered, [[Huffer (SG)|Huffer]] admits that he's running from Grimlock.

The group of Autobots bring down Swoop, then Blurr and Rodimus respond to a call from Huffer about Grimlock's location.

Cliffjumper and Sideswipe track Grimlock to an old bunker. Sideswipe shows hesitation. This is the place where Optimus had Sideswipe attacked for insubordination after the Optimus killed Sideswipe's commander [[Drench (SG)|Drench]]. That conflict also led to Sideswipe's own comrade [[Cliffjumper (SG)|Cliffjumper's]] death. The current Cliffjumper dismisses those concerns and the two descend deep into the tomb-like bunker. While examining funerary hieroglyphics, a booming voice calls, "GET OUT." But the way out is obscured; the tunnels have changed. Continuing on their journey, Cliffjumper injures his leg in a trap.

Rodimus and Blurr arrive at the bunker. Along the way down, they also run into a booby trap. On the other side, they meet up with Cliffjumper and Sideswipe. Cliffjumper and Rodimus inadvertently tumble into a hidden passage, activating yet another hazard.

At that same moment, Blurr and Sideswipe are harassed by [[Mutant (SG)|mutants]].

Rodimus deactivates the crushing trap, and the two fall through the floor. Rodimus realizes that this place is where the Omega Terminus is hiding. He plans to use it to create his own army. On their way, they locate a vial of healing [[scraplet|scraplets]] who eat dead metal.

The mutants cease their pursuit when Blurr and Sideswipe reach the [[Omega Terminus]] chamber. The four meet up again, crossing a narrow bridge over a deep chasm. On the other side, they find Grimlock, who explains in his rudimentary way that a voice guided him to his chamber. A light shoots out of the Omega Terminus, striking Grimlock. The lumbering beast transforms into a robot, suddenly eloquent. To the surprise of the others, he's been granted an ember and a robot mode, along with a great deal of intelligence.

Grimlock proclaims that the Omega Terminus doesn't want the others here. Cliffjumper challenges him, but the Omega Terminus responds. Four corpses are animated, among them, the native Cliffjumper and Drench. Grimlock divulges that the mutants bring the deactivated robots back here so that the Omega Terminus can use them for new life. A battle ensues. The zombies are dispatched with the scraplets and Grimlock falls over the edge into the chasm. The formless voice again instructs them to leave, and the four are only too pleased to obey.

For his failure, Rodimus is sent to [[Ratchet (SG)|Ratchet]] for an upgrade: a new buzzsaw-hand. Blurr reports to Optimus that the Autobots have gathered eight Dinobots. Unannounced, Grimlock enters the room. He offers his services to Optimus while also asserting his independence. '''Following the ''Ark''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s destruction, the new Dinobots are unleashed! But what ancient horror is behind Grimlock's miraculous transformation?'''

==Synopsis==

This enrages Prime, but Grimlock's intellect impresses the Autobot leader.

Later, Grimlock breaks into the Decepticon corral, promising the Decepticon-captured "Dinocons" a trip to the Omega Terminus...
'''Decepticons wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of... the Autobots?'''

==Synopsis==
{{note|This story follows the events of [[Crossing Over: Part 6]].}}
Emerging from a dimensional portal, Cliffjumper arrives, to his shock, on [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. Almost immediately, he is jumped by an oddly colored [[Triggercon]] named Ruckus. Ruckus tries to make a getaway, when he's blasted by Rodimus. Rodimus takes Cliffjumper to see Optimus Prime. Optimus escorts the by-now-nervous Cliffjumper to the [[smelting pool]] to see Rumble's execution. Quite unwisely, Cliffjumper tries to talk some sense into Optimus and gets blasted for his pains. As a test of loyalty, Optimus dumps Cliffjumper into the [[Rad Zone]]. While unconscious, Cliffjumper's body is found by [[Protectobot (G1)|Protectobot]]-colored versions of Scrapper and Long Haul. Cliffjumper wakes up to see both Hook and Scrapper working on him. Needless to say, he freaks out and makes a run for it, only to collide into Megatron, accompanied by Sideswipe. Sideswipe asks to see Cliffjumper alone. Upon further inspection, Sideswipe concludes that the Cliffjumper standing before him is not the same Cliffjumper he knew; after all, his Cliffjumper was killed right before his eyes during an ambush. Cliffjumper asks what the slag is going on, and Sideswipe condenses his universe's history.

In this universe, Optronix was absolutely obsessive about knowledge. Feeling unsatisfied in his original position, he backstabbed and betrayed countless others to become one of the more influential members of society. He began preaching intolerance for Cybertron's peaceful lifestyle, and others who agreed with this philosophy, mainly those who were similarly dissatisfied, joined him. In time, Optronix declared himself and his followers autonomous from Cybertron, and thus, they took the name [[Autobot|Autobots]]. Optronix then upgraded his followers, but, of course, he kept the most powerful mods for himself. When he finished upgrading, he renamed himself Optimus Prime. Then, one day, the Autobots began their reign of terror. Those who refused to join the Autobots were scrapped. Eventually, Optimus's sanity was shattered with a shocking revelation, but no one, not even his closest friends, knew what that was. The Autobots did not go unchallenged; other Cybertronians who managed to escape the initial massacre formed a loose resistance, but without a strong leader to guide them, the cause was sure to sputter out. That's when Megatron emerged from [[Polyhex]], uniting the resistance fighters into a tightly knit army. Megatron had only one equal on the battlefield, namely Optimus, but had the additional advantage of being able to transform. Armed with the technology of hiding themselves in plain sight, the resistance became the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]]. Optimus, however, managed to reproduce the technology for his own troops to use. Because of that, morale has been sinking.

Cliffjumper, quite out of his league, asks why an Autobot in his universe would be a Decepticon in this one. Sideswipe confesses that he was once an Autobot, but over time, he stopped believing in Optimus's cause and was subsequently left for dead after a staged ambush. That was when he joined the Decepticons for the sole purpose of revenge. Cliffjumper isn't exactly convinced, but decides to stick around before he makes a final decision.

[[Image:Shatteredglassmegatrondecepticons.jpg|left|250px|thumb|Listen to the voice of not-doom.]]
Back in [[Iacon]], Blurr reports to Optimus (while Prime spars with [[Holo-drone|holo-drones]], no less) about the status of the [[Ark (Shattered Glass)|Ark]], but is concerned about the launching platform's stability. Optimus is unconcerned and even welcomes a Decepticon attack. At Decepticon HQ, Starscream reports on the Ark's status as well, with a highly concerned Megatron listening in. As Cliffjumper and Sideswipe enter, Megatron informs them that Optimus plans to head to other planets to plunder their resources. Cliffjumper exclaims "By [[Primus]], he can't be allowed to do that," leaving the others slightly confused. Cliffjumper then provides a highly condensed version of the Transformers' origins. Megatron is somewhat relieved to learn that a god may have been behind their creation, but says that he needs to concentrate on a plan to get past the guards at the launching platform. Starscream then comes up with the brilliant idea of attacking the platform itself. With the platform's destruction, the Ark will collapse under its own weight, stranding the Autobots on Cybertron, albeit temporarily. To destroy the platform, Starscream plans to use Cliffjumper's "[[Glass gas]]" to weaken the steel, making it vulnerable to regular weapons fire. Cliffjumper agrees to assist Starscream with replicating the formula as Megatron and the others plan the new attack.

At sundown, Razorclaw and Rampage dispatch the guards, allowing Screamer, Divebomb, and Whisper to deploy the "Glass Gas Bombs", but while the bombs hit their target, their weapons fire fails to destroy the platform. It soon becomes an all-out brawl between the two sides, as Megatron and Optimus trade barbs. When Optimus spots Cliffjumper, he attempts to destroy the "traitor", but Megs takes the hit. Finally spurred into action, Cliffjumper finishes the job, destroying the platform and crippling the Ark. Megatron orders the 'Cons to retreat, but Optimus, enraged, attempts to extract revenge. Megatron gives Optimus a parting gift before flying off into the sunset with Cliffjumper, who finally agrees to join the resistance.
===Transformers references===
* Though several of the crowd-fillers in this comic are fabricated versions of previous characters, ''Shattered'' Soundwave does exist as a toy. He's the [[Soundwave (G1)/toys|"Sonic White" version of MP3 Soundwave]]. Quite a few of those got sold on that BotCon weekend.

* ''Shattered'' Perceptor does exist as a toy, too. He's [[Perceptor (G1)|Generation 1 Perceptor]] [[Magnificus|in his original ''pre-Transformers'' Microman colors]].

* There's a [[Diagnostic Drone]] helping Hook and Scrapper fix Cliffjumper. Amusingly, it's wearing a little nurse's cap.

* Sideswipe's history of ''Shattered'' [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] closely mirrors (so to speak) the version told in [[The Transformers (issue)|the very first ''Transformers'' story]], and even Optimus Prime's initial rallying cry to his troops is an homage to [[Megatron (G1)|Generation 1 Megatron's]] in that issue. However, Optimus Prime's early name, Optronix, is a reference to [[Dreamwave Productions|Dreamwave]]'s ''[[The War Within]]''.

* Reflector's [[character model]] is based on [[Spy Shot 6]]. Both of them transform into cameras.

* [[Nightbeat (SG)|''Shattered Glass'' Nightbeat]], [[BotCon 2008]]'s customization class figure, appears briefly at the [[Ark (SG)|Ark]] launch.

* Sideswipe's reasons for changing sides are the same as [[Wheeljack (Armada)|Armada Wheeljack]], whose toy mold he shares.

===Real-world references===
* Cliffjumper mutters "Ponderous, slaggin' ''ponderous''" after Sideswipe tells his tale is part of a semi-elaborate convention callback. There is an infamous set of outtakes of [[Casey Kasem]] (the original voice actor for Cliffjumper) having... well, violent meltdowns while recording ''American Top 40'' ("Ponderous, f***in' ''ponderous'', man."). Clips of these outtakes were edited with footage of Cliffjumper attempting to sniper-shot Megatron from "[[More than Meets the Eye, Part 1]]" for the closing credits of [[MSTF]] at [[OTFCC 2004]].

[[Image:ShatteredGoBots.gif|right|150px|thumb|Shouldn't Fitor be colored like [[Path Finder]] or something?]]
* Artist [[Don Figueroa]] started a trend in his early Dreamwave days by killing off cameos of [[Tonka GoBots]] [[Cy-Kill (disambiguation)|Cy-Kill]]. Suitably enough, in this mirror-verse tale, [[Leader-1 (SG)|an evil Leader-1]] (in Cy-Kill colors) is cannon fodder. Oddly enough, though, Cy-Kill's fist is one of those raised in support of Optimus Prime's revolution.

* Jazz blurts out "I ain't gettin' bombed by no plane!", a reference to the oft-repeated mantra of B.A. Baracus (played by Mr. T) from the ''A-Team''; "I ain't gettin' on no plane!".
'''The Decepticons fight to save Earth from Rodimus Prime's Autobots.'''
==Synopsis==
After [[Heatwave]] manages to locate [[Soundwave (SG)|Soundwave]]'s stasis pod and get him reactivated, they gather up Soundwave's cassettes who have landed nearby, and go off in search of the ''[[Nemesis (Shattered Glass)|Nemesis]]''. They eventually find the ship's crash site, and discover there's a team of local scientists snooping around. After a misunderstanding between the scientists and [[Ravage (Shattered Glass)|Ravage]], the [[Decepticon]]s eventually learn that the [[human]]s—[[Professor Arkeville]] and his interns—are friendly and sympathetic, and invite them onboard to meet up with [[Starscream (SG)|Starscream]] and [[Cliffjumper (G1)|Cliffjumper]], who survived the crash.

[[Rodimus (SG)|Rodimus]], on the other hand, meets up with his own set of human allies—the [[Witwicky#Shattered Glass continuity family|Witwicky brothers]]—when the three try to steal him. He takes them back to the ''[[Ark (Shattered Glass)|Ark]]'' and convinces the other [[Autobot]]s to accept the humans' help, though not before dealing with an attempt by [[Goldbug (SG)|Goldbug]] to usurp leadership. Rodimus ultimately wins, and, after listening to advice from the Witwickys and studying [[Earth]]'s transmissions, hatches a plan: Hijack one of the United States' [[Burpleson Air Force Base|military bases]], take control of the country's [[Global Orbital Defense Satellite|defense satellite]], and use it to hold the planet hostage until the humans accept the Autobots as their new Mafia-like leaders.

The Decepticons learn of the Autobots' success in gaining control of the base, and launch an assault to free it, having managed to locate [[Crasher (Shattered Glass)|Crasher]]'s pod in the meantime. During the fight that ensues, [[Heatwave]] is able to gain access to the satellite's controller and use it to disable the Autobots' control and evacuate the base. He then turns the satellite on the base itself, destroying it, and finally crushes the controller as well. The satellite then self-destructs.

When [[President Colton]] hears of the situation, he decides that, while the Decepticons are worth keeping an eye on, he's especially interested in the Autobots...
*In this universe, World War III occurred during the 1980s. In 1988 one specific attack destroyed the Western seaboard of the United States and sent most of it underwater. Other details are unknown, including the participants and who was on what side, though the current day military characters seem generally afraid of the Soviets and "communists", and the British are mentioned as wanting to invade the US. Rick also makes mention at one point of "rebels" of some kind operating in the US in the current day.
:''Seaspray is an evil [[Autobot]] from the "[[Shattered Glass (franchise)|Shattered Glass]]" [[continuity family]].''
{{faceless}}
When no one else can search the dark depths of the ocean, call in '''Seaspray'''. Fascinated by [[Earth]]'s oceans, Seaspray is known to report every detail of them whenever possible, much to the annoyance of his fellow [[Autobot]]s, who often cut him off. His robot mode form is hunched monstrously, with wide shoulders leading down to arms with deadly claws so huge they reach the ground. His words are distorted with a deep burbling.

{{quote|I… found these behind strong vaulted doors. Such precautions indicate value… yet no warming energy do they give. I am vexed.|Seapsray after raiding a bank without knowing it|[[Eye in the Sky]]}}
===Shattered Glass===
Seaspray was tasked with scouting the area around the ''[[Ark (Shattered Glass)|Ark]]''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s underwater crash site on [[Earth]] to see if there was anything useful they could salvage. Among his finds was a large amount of money from vaults that had been sunk during World War III. {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}
**''Accessories'': Pistol, Cybertron Decepticon Cyber Planet Key

: A [[redeco]] of ''[[Cybertron (toyline)|Cybertron]]'' [[Shortround]], [[Storm Surge]] transforms into a hovercraft. Inserting a [[Cyber Planet Key]] into his key jack swings a pair of (non-firing) torpedo racks up into firing position. This gimmick is available in both vehicle and robot modes. There is also a small, non-firing gun that can be held in either of his claws or can be mounted on the top of his hovercraft mode.

: During transformation, snapping the torso into place forces the head up, making it easier to twist into place. He also has wheels on the underside of his vehicle mode, allowing him to be rolled on smooth surfaces.

: Storm Surge was part of the [[AllSpark Power]] series of Target-[[exclusive]] [[Size class|Scout Class]] toys.

:This toy was [[Repurposing|repurposed]] as Shattered Glass Seaspray.
