In [[2020]], when an energon-deprived [[Unicron]] began attacking all the intruders that were currently occupying his dormant body, [[Primus]] summoned Arcee and sent her to reinforce the Autobots. She served to rally the Omnicon forces and provide Kicker Jones with rapid, agile transportation through the dangerous interiors of Unicron. By the time she had taken on this form, she had been inducted into the ranks of the [[Protector]]s, the elite team of agents who travel space and time in service of the hyper-dimensional race of evolved Autobots known as the [[Alternity (species)|Alternity]].

While observing a battle between [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)|the black Convoy]] and one of [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Megatron]]'s [[auto-avatar]]s, Elita Seven waited for the aftermath and chastised the bad boy of the [[Convoy Aggregate]] for fighting dirty. Convoy took exception to her calling him a "deity" and insisted she call him "Knight of Darkness." She retorted that even if he was a deity she wasn't going to pander to him like that. {{storylink|Arch-Nemesis!}}

As time progressed, the Alternity realized that Megatron's forces had been repeatedly focusing their attacks on the year 2009, and Elita Seven was teamed with [[Bumblebee (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Bumblebee]] to search the timelines for clues as to why. While investigating [[universal stream]] [[The Transformers: Binaltech Asterisk|Primax 905.0 Beta]], they came to the conclusion that a new type of dimensional flux would come into existence there, and that Megatron was searching for its source that he might use it for his own ends. The flux soon struck, causing a particularly bizarre effect: printed media worldwide began to warp and distort! Moving quickly, Elita and Bumblebee tracked the source of the distortion to a tablet in the Otsuka Museum of Art, which was in the process of being stolen for Megatron by [[Reflector (G1)|Reflector]]. Bumblebee bested the Decepticon trio, but Megatron then struck from across the dimensions, wounding the little Autobot and destroying both the museum and the tablet. When Bumblebee awoke, Elita requested that he explain just what the heck had happened; Bumblebee explained that the tablet was a device invented by [[Planicron|beings]] from a two-dimensional universe that converted artworks into trans-dimensional gateways they could have passed through. As Bumblebee began steeling himself for the next dimensional incursion, Elita reminded him they needed to clean up the mess they had made in this world first. {{storylink|The World Is Flat!}}

While Elita Seven helped provide cover fire for a cross-universal battle, the higher-dimensional beings in her squad suddenly all seized up. They returned to normal momentarily, but had dreadful news for their Protector allies: the Alternity's aggregate had been sundered by [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Megatron]]! Though all individuals in the aggregate had survived, taking refuge in their respective Auto-Avatars, Elita Seven was left deeply concerned; they no longer had access to the Alternity's god-like abilities. [[Optimus Prime (G1)#Alternity|One of the Optimuses]] in her company told Elita Seven to continue fighting, as transpiring events were still within the parameters of what the collective had planed for. The battle soon turned to the Autobots' favor when [[Thundercracker (G1)#Alternity|Thundercracker]], disgusted by the senseless loss of life the Planicrons suffered due to Megatron's exploitation of their power, released the lower dimensional beings from his leader's control.

But to assure themselves a total victory, the Autobots still needed to find the correct spatial doorway for the Planicrons to emerge into three-dimensional space, so that they could supersede the now destroyed aggregate as multiversal defenders. Elita Seven's team quickly deduced that the correct path for the Planicrons' evolution was through the [[BT World]], and she set out with [[Bumblebee (G1)#Alternity|Bumblebee]] and [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)#Alternity|Nemesis Prime]] to guide the Planicrons there. Upon their arrival to the target world, they were greeted by [[Grimlock (G1)#Alternity|Grimlock]] and [[Optimus Primal (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity#Alternity|Optimus Primal]]. With their help, the group soon tracked down the schematics for the unfinished [[critias Gate]]; a two-dimensional doorway for two-dimensional beings. Together, they then witnessed the Planicrons come forth through the gate. The whole process was rather cacophonous though, and Elita Seven had to cover her ears to behold the spectacle. Though Megatron, barely holding on to a cohesive form as other agents were destroying his Auto-Avatars elsewhere, tried to abort the Planicrons' ascension, he was soundly defeated by his target. The Autobots cheered at the obliteration of their foe.

Afterwards, the former Alternity met on planet [[Athenia]]. There, Elita Seven teased Cliffjumper over never having gotten around to upgrade himself to a godlike super-being when he had the chance. She was rather heartbroken over the Alternity's dissolution though. Noticing she had been crying, Bumblebee tried to cheer her up. He explained that as a higher-dimensional being, he had only been able to see her akin to an anatomical chart, but now she appeared as an individual standing before him. Proving to be a bit too out of control to base near human cities, the Omnicons were sent to the site of a new energon well in the Yukon. While blowing off some steam, they were captured by [[Cyclonus (Armada)|Snow Cat]] who attempted to rewrite their programming to turn them into [[Decepticon]]s. Subconsciously guided by the snarky, floating, advice-giving head of Over-Run, they managed to break free from the [[Spark Rewriter]]. Arcee and her teammates were still left at a disadvantage, being in an unfamiliar territory, ill-equipped for its snowy conditions. But by slowing down and taking in information about their whereabouts, the Omnicons were able to defeat Snow Cat and gain better understanding of their abilities. {{storylink|Omni-Potent}}

On a mission with [[Kicker Jones|Kicker]] to the Black Sea in [[Turkey]] to locate a new energon well underwater, they were attacked by [[Tidal Wave (Armada)|Mirage]] (who had previously butted heads with them as Tidal Wave), [[Slugslinger (Energon)|Slugslinger]] and [[Sharkticon (Energon)|Sharkticon]], who were attempting to capture the energon-empathic human. {{storylink|Multiplicity}} Arcee stood little chance against Mirage, even when both she and Skyblast teamed up against the Decepticon; she wound up serving as little more than a punching bag for her opponent. {{storylink|Multiplicity, Pt. 2}} Arcee was left in an unconscious heap on the ground as Mirage boasted about his victory to the last Omnicon standing, Strongarm. When Over-Run learned he was the next target for the energon vampire [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]], he summoned Arcee and the Omnicons to aid him. {{storylink|Armageddon Part 1}} Too late to stop Over-Run's demise, the Omnicons lashed out at Starscream, but his energon-absorbing abilities made their standard attacks useless. During the [[Quintesson]] invasion that followed, Arcee and the Omnicons received a pre-recorded message from Over-Run. She served to rally the Omnicon forces and provide Kicker Jones with rapid, agile transportation through the dangerous interiors of Unicron. By the time she had taken on this form, she had been inducted into the ranks of the [[Protector]]s, the elite team of agents who travel space and time in service of the hyper-dimensional race of evolved Autobots known as the [[Alternity (species)|Alternity]].

While observing a battle between [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)|the black Convoy]] and one of [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Megatron]]'s [[auto-avatar]]s, Elita Seven waited for the aftermath and chastised the bad boy of the [[Convoy Aggregate]] for fighting dirty. Convoy took exception to her calling him a "deity" and insisted she call him "Knight of Darkness." She retorted that even if he was a deity she wasn't going to pander to him like that. {{storylink|Arch-Nemesis!}}

As time progressed, the Alternity realized that Megatron's forces had been repeatedly focusing their attacks on the year 2009, and Elita Seven was teamed with [[Bumblebee (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Bumblebee]] to search the timelines for clues as to why. While investigating [[universal stream]] [[The Transformers: Binaltech Asterisk|Primax 905.0 Beta]], they came to the conclusion that a new type of dimensional flux would come into existence there, and that Megatron was searching for its source that he might use it for his own ends. The flux soon struck, causing a particularly bizarre effect: printed media worldwide began to warp and distort! Moving quickly, Elita and Bumblebee tracked the source of the distortion to a tablet in the Otsuka Museum of Art, which was in the process of being stolen for Megatron by [[Reflector (G1)|Reflector]]. Bumblebee bested the Decepticon trio, but Megatron then struck from across the dimensions, wounding the little Autobot and destroying both the museum and the tablet. When Bumblebee awoke, Elita requested that he explain just what the heck had happened; Bumblebee explained that the tablet was a device invented by [[Planicron|beings]] from a two-dimensional universe that converted artworks into trans-dimensional gateways they could have passed through. As Bumblebee began steeling himself for the next dimensional incursion, Elita reminded him they needed to clean up the mess they had made in this world first. {{storylink|The World Is Flat!}}

While Elita Seven helped provide cover fire for a cross-universal battle, the higher-dimensional beings in her squad suddenly all seized up. They returned to normal momentarily, but had dreadful news for their Protector allies: the Alternity's aggregate had been sundered by [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Megatron]]! Though all individuals in the aggregate had survived, taking refuge in their respective Auto-Avatars, Elita Seven was left deeply concerned; they no longer had access to the Alternity's god-like abilities. [[Optimus Prime (G1)#Alternity|One of the Optimuses]] in her company told Elita Seven to continue fighting, as transpiring events were still within the parameters of what the collective had planed for. The battle soon turned to the Autobots' favor when [[Thundercracker (G1)#Alternity|Thundercracker]], disgusted by the senseless loss of life the Planicrons suffered due to Megatron's exploitation of their power, released the lower dimensional beings from his leader's control.

But to assure themselves a total victory, the Autobots still needed to find the correct spatial doorway for the Planicrons to emerge into three-dimensional space, so that they could supersede the now destroyed aggregate as multiversal defenders. Elita Seven's team quickly deduced that the correct path for the Planicrons' evolution was through the [[BT World]], and she set out with [[Bumblebee (G1)#Alternity|Bumblebee]] and [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)#Alternity|Nemesis Prime]] to guide the Planicrons there. Upon their arrival to the target world, they were greeted by [[Grimlock (G1)#Alternity|Grimlock]] and [[Optimus Primal (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity#Alternity|Optimus Primal]]. With their help, the group soon tracked down the schematics for the unfinished [[critias Gate]]; a two-dimensional doorway for two-dimensional beings. Together, they then witnessed the Planicrons come forth through the gate. The whole process was rather cacophonous though, and Elita Seven had to cover her ears to behold the spectacle. Though Megatron, barely holding on to a cohesive form as other agents were destroying his Auto-Avatars elsewhere, tried to abort the Planicrons' ascension, he was soundly defeated by his target. The Autobots cheered at the obliteration of their foe.

Afterwards, the former Alternity met on planet [[Athenia]]. There, Elita Seven teased Cliffjumper over never having gotten around to upgrade himself to a godlike super-being when he had the chance. She was rather heartbroken over the Alternity's dissolution though. Noticing she had been crying, Bumblebee tried to cheer her up. He explained that as a higher-dimensional being, he had only been able to see her akin to an anatomical chart, but now she appeared as an individual standing before him. Subconsciously guided by the snarky, floating, advice-giving head of Over-Run, they managed to break free from the [[Spark Rewriter]]. Arcee and her teammates were still left at a disadvantage, being in an unfamiliar territory, ill-equipped for its snowy conditions. But by slowing down and taking in information about their whereabouts, the Omnicons were able to defeat Snow Cat and gain better understanding of their abilities. {{storylink|Omni-Potent}}

On a mission with [[Kicker Jones|Kicker]] to the Black Sea in [[Turkey]] to locate a new energon well underwater, they were attacked by [[Tidal Wave (Armada)|Mirage]] (who had previously butted heads with them as Tidal Wave), [[Slugslinger (Energon)|Slugslinger]] and [[Sharkticon (Energon)|Sharkticon]], who were attempting to capture the energon-empathic human. {{storylink|Multiplicity}} Arcee stood little chance against Mirage, even when both she and Skyblast teamed up against the Decepticon; she wound up serving as little more than a punching bag for her opponent. {{storylink|Multiplicity, Pt. 2}} Arcee was left in an unconscious heap on the ground as Mirage boasted about his victory to the last Omnicon standing, Strongarm. When Over-Run learned he was the next target for the energon vampire [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]], he summoned Arcee and the Omnicons to aid him. {{storylink|Armageddon Part 1}} Too late to stop Over-Run's demise, the Omnicons lashed out at Starscream, but his energon-absorbing abilities made their standard attacks useless. During the [[Quintesson]] invasion that followed, Arcee and the Omnicons received a pre-recorded message from Over-Run. While observing a battle between [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)|the black Convoy]] and one of [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Megatron]]'s [[auto-avatar]]s, Elita Seven waited for the aftermath and chastised the bad boy of the [[Convoy Aggregate]] for fighting dirty. Convoy took exception to her calling him a "deity" and insisted she call him "Knight of Darkness." As time progressed, the Alternity realized that Megatron's forces had been repeatedly focusing their attacks on the year 2009, and Elita Seven was teamed with [[Bumblebee (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity#Alternity|Bumblebee]] to search the timelines for clues as to why. While investigating [[universal stream]] [[The Transformers: Binaltech Asterisk|Primax 905.0 Beta]], they came to the conclusion that a new type of dimensional flux would come into existence there, and that Megatron was searching for its source that he might use it for his own ends. The flux soon struck, causing a particularly bizarre effect: printed media worldwide began to warp and distort! Moving quickly, Elita and Bumblebee tracked the source of the distortion to a tablet in the Otsuka Museum of Art, which was in the process of being stolen for Megatron by [[Reflector (G1)|Reflector]]. Bumblebee bested the Decepticon trio, but Megatron then struck from across the dimensions, wounding the little Autobot and destroying both the museum and the tablet. When Bumblebee awoke, Elita requested that he explain just what the heck had happened; Bumblebee explained that the tablet was a device invented by [[Planicron|beings]] from a two-dimensional universe that converted artworks into trans-dimensional gateways they could have passed through. As Bumblebee began steeling himself for the next dimensional incursion, Elita reminded him they needed to clean up the mess they had made in this world first. {{storylink|The World Is Flat!}}

While Elita Seven helped provide cover fire for a cross-universal battle, the higher-dimensional beings in her squad suddenly all seized up. They returned to normal momentarily, but had dreadful news for their Protector allies: the Alternity's aggregate had been sundered by [[Megatron (G1)/Generation 1 cartoon continuity|Megatron]]! Though all individuals in the aggregate had survived, taking refuge in their respective Auto-Avatars, Elita Seven was left deeply concerned; they no longer had access to the Alternity's god-like abilities. [[Optimus Prime (G1)#Alternity|One of the Optimuses]] in her company told Elita Seven to continue fighting, as transpiring events were still within the parameters of what the collective had planed for. The battle soon turned to the Autobots' favor when [[Thundercracker (G1)#Alternity|Thundercracker]], disgusted by the senseless loss of life the Planicrons suffered due to Megatron's exploitation of their power, released the lower dimensional beings from his leader's control.

But to assure themselves a total victory, the Autobots still needed to find the correct spatial doorway for the Planicrons to emerge into three-dimensional space, so that they could supersede the now destroyed aggregate as multiversal defenders. Elita Seven's team quickly deduced that the correct path for the Planicrons' evolution was through the [[BT World]], and she set out with [[Bumblebee (G1)#Alternity|Bumblebee]] and [[Nemesis Prime (Universe)#Alternity|Nemesis Prime]] to guide the Planicrons there. Upon their arrival to the target world, they were greeted by [[Grimlock (G1)#Alternity|Grimlock]] and [[Optimus Primal (BW)/Beast Wars cartoon continuity#Alternity|Optimus Primal]]. With their help, the group soon tracked down the schematics for the unfinished [[critias Gate]]; a two-dimensional doorway for two-dimensional beings. Together, they then witnessed the Planicrons come forth through the gate. The whole process was rather cacophonous though, and Elita Seven had to cover her ears to behold the spectacle. Though Megatron, barely holding on to a cohesive form as other agents were destroying his Auto-Avatars elsewhere, tried to abort the Planicrons' ascension, he was soundly defeated by his target. The Autobots cheered at the obliteration of their foe.

Afterwards, the former Alternity met on planet [[Athenia]]. There, Elita Seven teased Cliffjumper over never having gotten around to upgrade himself to a godlike super-being when he had the chance. She was rather heartbroken over the Alternity's dissolution though. Noticing she had been crying, Bumblebee tried to cheer her up. He explained that as a higher-dimensional being, he had only been able to see her akin to an anatomical chart, but now she appeared as an individual standing before him. Subconsciously guided by the snarky, floating, advice-giving head of Over-Run, they managed to break free from the [[Spark Rewriter]]. Arcee and her teammates were still left at a disadvantage, being in an unfamiliar territory, ill-equipped for its snowy conditions. Ten million years ago, Centurion was one of the many Maximals who followed "[[Onyx Prime]];" unaware or uncaring that this member of the [[Thirteen|Thirteen Primes]] was a cover identity used by a time-travelling [[Shockwave (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Shockwave]]. Following the end of the [[First Cybertronian Civil War]], Onyx and his Maximals departed [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] for good and established a base on the barren planet [[Antilla]]. In time, Onyx would uncover the artifact he dubbed the "[[Talisman (G1)|Talisman]]", part of an ancient doomsday weapon responsible for the planet's destruction.

Twenty thousand years ago, Centurion was part of an expedition under the command of [[Domitius Major]], at the behest of "Onyx"; as part of his larger goals, Onyx decided to have the Talisman relocated to [[Earth]], and assigned the crew of the starship ''[[Axalon (BW)|Axalon]]'' to do so. {{storylink|Our Finest}} Centurion and his shipmates were evidently not aware of the full scope of "Onyx's" plans, nor the paradoxical nature of their impending voyage; they reached [[Ice Age]] Earth solely by accident, having been drawn off-course to refuel their ship after a ten-thousand year voyage. While preparing to land, however, their ship was intercepted by the younger Shockwave, who had come to investigate his [[Regenesis]] project. Shockwave confused the crew aboard with a bounced broadcast of [[Optimus Prime (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Optimus Prime]] and [[Bumblebee (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Bumblebee]] before easily shooting them down and causing their ship to crash in prehistoric Europe. In the crash, the [[Talisman (G1)|Talisman]] aboard the ''Axalon'' scrambled the memories of the crew.

Centurion was the first of them to awaken, and, disoriented, briefly glimpsed the transmission of Optimus he had seen earlier. His brief confusion over his identity led him to wonder aloud if he ''was'' Bumblebee... which inspired the nearby Shockwave to use the amnesiac explorers in a twisted experiment. By replacing the lost memories of the ''Axalon'' crew with data on the Cybertronian Autobots and Decepticons, Shockwave convinced the stranded beast-bots that they were warriors in the [[Great War (G1)|Great War]] and pitted them against one another in a series of simulated wargames in order to study their tactics for his own use. When [[World War II]] swept the world, only "Bumblebee," now sporting an automobile form, and "[[Maximal Shockwave|Shockwave]]" remained. In the winter of [[1944]], "Bumblebee" tracked down and fought "Shockwave" in [[France]], where their combat was observed by [[Sgt. Savage]] and the [[Screaming Eagles]]. As he stepped into the frozen wreckage of the ship, "Bumblebee" was struck by an unexpected memory: his ''true'' name, Centurion. Kreiger discovered an empty plinth inside the ship that had once held the Talisman. Before Centurion could tell his comrades about his master, who the Talisman had once belonged to, they were attacked by more of the drones, now inhabiting and animating Domitius's corpse. Kreiger watched, fascinated by the battle, until the Talisman's energy made the entire ''Axalon'' disappear—with Savage inside it. Centurion managed to defeat Domitius's animated corpse, but was upset at losing what he hoped to be his final resting place. Confused, angry, and psychologically vulnerable, Kreiger — given new purpose by the discovery of the Talisman — offered to help the erstwhile "Autobot" in finding the artifact that had brought all this upon him. {{storylink|Strange Visitors}}

In 1994, Centurion was present in Kreiger's [[Project Ice Man|Brasnyan base]] during Kreiger's experiments on Mike Power, the "[[Atomic Man]]." Through this experimentation, Power managed to interface with the Talisman, somehow summoning the lost ''Axalon''... and with it, Sergeant Savage. Second later, [[Joe Colton]]'s [[Adventure Team|Adventure Force]] stormed the base, though Kreiger ordered his Cybertronian asset to avoid attacking the intruders in the ensuing standoff.

Twelve years later, Kreiger and Centurion joined Joe Colton and [[Skywatch]] in [[Project Hot House|Project: Hot House]], an effort to renovate an abandoned Decepticon bunker located inside [[Mount St. Helens]] and develop new forms of anti-Transformer weaponry using the Talisman as a starting point. Through the Talisman's energy, Kreiger was able to bring [[Bugly (G1)|Bugly]] back online, but the Decepticon managed to escape the perimeter. Centurion was dispatched to bring Bugly back into Skywatch custody, and he found and subdued the runaway Decepticon in front of Sgt. Savage and several members of the newly founded [[G.I. Joe (team)|G.I. Joe]]. Dragging the struggling Decepticon behind him, Centurion returned Bugly to Skywatch custody, chaining him to Talisman as part of an experiment involving [[Ore-13]]. When Savage objected to Centurion's ruthlessness, the Maximal simply tossed him into the path of the Talisman's beam as it blew Bugly apart — Colton's goal had always been to lure Savage, saturated with Talisman energy, into the base to use him as a test subject. {{storylink|When Eagles Scream}}

In the meantime, Centurion had chauffeured Tomax to the [[I.R.O.N.]] building in San Francisco when [[Ayana Jones|Mayday]], [[Kup (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Kup]], [[G.B. Centurion initially chose to remain undercover until Kup revealed himself; mistaking the elderly Autobot for a Maximal straggler, Centurion opened fire on Kup and their brawl threatened to collapse the skyscraper. Shortly afterwards, however, Blackrock accessed Kreiger's files and learned the truth about Centurion's history. Following the capture of Garrison Kreiger and a reunion with a time-displaced Sgt. Savage, Kup had taken it upon himself to teach the amnesiac Transformer about [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]. Centurion politely listened while hacking the Onyx facility's defense systems to create a diversion, firing on an incoming G.I. Joe air unit as a distraction. Deploying an arsenal of hidden weaponry, Centurion apologized for fooling the Autobot and opened fire. {{storylink|When Eagles Scream}} The two Cybertronians grappled with each other until their fight was interrupted by a swarm of [[Dire Wraith]] hybrids that Action Man released as a distraction. The resulting combination created a composite being: though still calling himself "Centurion", this new Transformer contained the memories of both the Maximal and the human. With an angry [[Metrotitan (G1)|Metrotitan]] and [[Optimus Prime (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Optimus Prime]] bearing down on them, Colton's alliance retreated, leaving Centurion behind — but not the Talisman, which [[Doctor X]] and [[Tempest (G.I. Joe)|Storm Shadow]] took with them. The energies released by the Talisman's teleportation threatened to unleash another wave of mutative energy, and Centurion threw himself into the Talisman, seemingly perishing. Seconds later, however, he returned to life and explained his recent rebirth to the assembled Revolutionaries and [[Verenya]]ns. Joined by some [[Red Shadows]], Colditz and Centurion soon left the outskirts of the city and set up a camp in the wilds while Colditz tried to contact Kreiger. Blackrock learned of Centurion's plan before Kup and [[Arcee (G1)/2005 IDW continuity|Arcee]] caught up with them, prompting Colditz to detonate his explosives and Kreiger to remotely transmit a destructive surge of Talisman energy through Centurion's systems. Realizing that this was a deliberate bid to kill Centurion, Blackrock managed to convince Centurion to rein in the out of control energy at the cost of leaving him comatose in [[stasis lock]]. Centurion remained comatose throughout the rest of the crisis until Kreiger—revealed as the alien wizard [[Merklynn]]—unleashed the energies of the Talisman, {{storylink|First Strike issue 6|First Strike #6}} which had the side effect of returning Centurion to operational status. Still trying to investigate his Cybertronian side, Centurion chose to return to the wilds of Cybertron and made the acquaintance of the [[Dinobot (G1)|Dinobots]] and [[Sandstorm (G1)|Sandstorm]], who were guarding a cache of [[protoform]]s. He sent a message to Blackrock, who brought Arcee, Optimus, and [[Slag (G1)|Slug]] with him to investigate. Not that it really matters, but did Megatron really not come with the Gun accessories originally in Japan? Just that, those accessories can be made into a Gun turrent for Microman figures, so that doesn't quite sound right, since he was originally a part of that line.

The US Megatron boxart is identical to the MC P38 Uncle art aside from the added sigil, and was edited to blue for the red Goodbye Megatron set. Yet the art used for the standard release was repainted from the MC P38 (black) to US megatron colors, complete with the red legs and arms. Not sure why the notes make a big deal on the secondary beam cannon mode. It is however NOT a modified version of said mode. Both the larger robot mode and the one for a microman are originally intended for the mold. (Hence handles being there for the robot and for a microman figure)
