Dreamwave Pics
I don't know that we really need two identical-looking pictures of DW Bruticus from the same poorly-lit scene. Did he even do that much in the Dreamwave continuity? I say pick one or the other. --Monzo 13:32, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

:Poorly lit perhaps (well have you ever been in a very bright storm?), but awesomely drawn. But if we must get rid of one - I say keep the 'stupid gun' picture, since its funnier. --FFN 13:50, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
::I'd rather keep the other one, since we see more of Bruticus than his head. --ItsWalky 15:51, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Bruticus is among my very favorite Decepticons. You all should honor and fear him. Moreso the latter.

Incidentally, how do I go about adding pictures to these articles? Do I need to host the picture first, or can I just zip 'em out there straight from my computer?
Text Box
Are we actually using that odd text-box thing? -- Monzo 00:39, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
: No, I think that's a leftover from a straight wikipedia C&P. Besides, as new incanrations of characters happen, mottos and altmodes change. --M Sipher 00:54, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

I don't suppose anyone has the last issue of that handy dandy so they can get a decent picture of Bruticus? The only thing I could find was a picture of freakin' Superion. ---Blackout- 01:46, 14 September 2009 (EDT)
Brute Justice
In Final Fantasy XIV's 3.2 patch a group of bosses based on Bruticus and the Combaticons were added to the game: In the 8 man raid Alexander Midas: Burden of the Son, 5 bosses, Blaster, Brawler, Swindler, Vortexer and Onslaughter, combine to form the boss Brute Justice. I was wondering on which pages, where and should this reference be added to the wiki. -- Ultimatecalibur (talk) 03:39, 21 March 2016 (EDT)

Marvel comics entry
Here's my suggestion for what to write into the section:

"Predacons were summoned from Cybertron by Megatron (albeit manipulated into doing so by Shockwave) to lure out Optimus Prime so he could finally kill his nemesis - only for them to attack Megatron instead in the peak of battle, to kill Megatron and allow Shockwave to take command.

Predaking was much like his cartoon eqivalent, only he didn't get his ass handed to him in every turn."

What do you think? :D --84.250.41.125 17:43, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
::The second paragraph would be breaking our in-universe rules. Plus, I'm not sure what it's saying. It reads like you're saying the cartoon Predaking got his ass handed to him every time unlike in the comics, but in the comics Megatron ultimately defeated Predaking. --ItsWalky 17:48, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
:::Well of course it's incomplete, since that particular bit was from the UK comics and fails to mention their second encounter with Megatron and subsequent end in Underbase-powered Starscream's hands. Also, there seems to be a separate entry for the G1 Predacons...anyone else think these two articles should be merged? 84.250.41.125 20:32, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
::::...no, Megatron fought Predaking in the US comics, not in "Prey." Also, Predaking never fought Underbase Starscream, so that would not be mentioned on this page. And, yes, of course there's a separate entry for the group. They're two separate entities. Predaking is a guy. The Predacons are the 5 individual guys who combine to form him. --ItsWalky 20:39, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
:::::Well, yeah, it was hardly a fight. Otherwise I'd agree with you, but there are articles for each individual Predacon, then as a group AND as a gestalt. A little too much information scattered around IMO, plus the 'toys' section in the Predacon article is kind of redundant...84.250.41.125 21:02, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Legal issues?
I read somewhere that Predaking was not originally available in Japan due to legal issues, as there already was another character with a lion head for a chest in another anime...any confirmation to this? Takeshi357 00:35, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Predaking Vs. Predaking (G1)
Is there a reason why Predaking is simply titled "Predaking", when similar Generation One characters are linked as "Character Name X (G1)"? User:fairplaythings 16:24, 17 January 2010 (EST)
:Because so far there's only the one Predaking. Parentheses are only used when there's more than one thing with the same name in Transformers, so we have to have some way to differentiate between them. (Like, there's a Bumblebee (G1), a Bumblebee (Animated), a Bumblebee (Movie), etc.) See Help:Disambiguation#Disambiguation suffixes for more info. --Jeysie 16:31, 17 January 2010 (EST)
Omnibot edit war
Figured we should discuss this. Personally, I don't see the problem in removing the Omnibot comment. Mentioning the Omnibots is kind of trivial and ruins part of the joke: we build up to Predaking as an invincible warrior... who is defeated by Sky Lynx. Adding that he has been defeated by others takes some of it away. --NCZ 16:02, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
:I agree. Having the Omnibots part really ruins the joke. I think it would be better to not have it. --Kirby 16:08, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
::Seconded. The joke is about the general invincibility of Predaking, mentioning that Sky Lynx routinely gets the better of him in multiple continuities is funny, saying that he has been beaten in various continuities by various individuals is not. --Khajidha 16:22, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
:::Thirded. If we add the Omnibots, then we might as well add the Beast, Dai Atlas, Pointblank, etc. Basically it opens the door to a whole lot of stupid and pointless dogpiling. ---Blackout- 16:25, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
::::Disagree. Because beating Predaking is, like, the only thing the Omnibots did. Ever. Beast and Dai Atlas and such were pretty much pushed as these kill-em-all types. The Omnibots? It's an epic holy crap moment. Out of everyone that gets mentionned here, they deserve the spot the most, even more so than Sky Lynx. --Detour 18:00, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
:::::They also defeated Devastator, Menasor, and Bruticus in the same story, so it's not something Predaking-specific. And as the anon mentioned, it was only once in a Japan-only TV Magazine-exclusive manga, so a lot of people wouldn't get it. Sky Lynx is mentioned repeatedly during this article. --NCZ 18:13, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
::::::Yeah, it's a holy crap moment, but it's an Omnibot holy crap moment not a Predaking specific one. Make a bigger deal of it on their page. --Khajidha 18:16, 3 September 2010 (EDT)
