Spiral's [[Mini-Con storage panel]] was detected underground, near a major highway under construction. Both [[Autobot]] and [[Decepticon]] braved battle and heavy traffic to retrieve the panel. The Decepticons, thanks to the digging strength of [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]] (who was in reality an Autobot agent undercover) came close to obtaining it, but the arrival of the mysterious [[Sideways (Armada)|Sideways]] tipped the battle in favor of the Autobots, and with [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]]'s newfound skill with the [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]], the Decepticons were forced to retreat and Spiral was saved.

Back at the Autobot base, while [[Billy (Armada)|Billy]] was getting dirt-bike rides on Sideways, Spiral offered to give a ride to [[Fred (Armada)|Fred]], who was moping about missing all the fun. Fred accepted, but quickly regretted his decision and commenced with the whining. {{storylink|Gale}}

Later, after the Decepticons got ahold of the [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]], Spiral was seen among the Mini-Cons recently captured by them. How they acquired possession of her from the Autobots is unknown. {{storylink|Conspiracy}}

Spiral, [[Backtrack (Armada)|Backtrack]] and an unknown Mini-Con were assigned to <s>repair</s> "tune up" [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] following a close encounter with the [[Requiem Blaster (Armada)|Requiem Blaster]]. {{storylink|Runaway}}

On the moon, Spiral and the other Mini-Cons were put to work by Megatron constructing a new space cruiser. When the Autobots lay siege to the Decepticon base, [[Perceptor (Armada)|Perceptor]] sought out the Mini-Cons and tried to get them to accompany him to freedom. Their servility programming was too strong to overcome at first. After Spiral and the others saw Perceptor valiantly risking his life against Megatron, however, the Mini-Cons shrugged off the chains of their oppression, and fled to the warp gate chamber where the Autobots transported them to safety on Earth. {{storylink|Rescue}}

As the Autobots prepared their new spaceship to chase the Decepticons back to Cybertron, Spiral and the united Mini-Cons were seen helping with the construction work. {{storylink|Remorse}} Spiral and the Mini-Cons all chose to willingly follow the Autobots into space aboard the ''[[Axalon (Armada)|Axalon]]'', fighting alongside them against the Decepticons. {{storylink|Depart}}

Spiral was among the Mini-Cons who fled [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] millions of years ago, {{storylink|Armada Free Comic Book Day}} and along with the rest of the Street Speed Team she ended up living in a [[Mini-Con Moonbase|base]] on [[Earth]]'s [[Moon (moon)|moon]]. {{storylink|Dreamwave Armada issue 9|Armada #9}} Unfortunately, [[Dualor (Armada)|Dualor]] brought the Earth-based Mini-Cons there, which also brought the [[Decepticon]]s.
