Another day at the office wherein the [[Autobot|Autobots]] battle the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] for a [[Mini-Con]]. From the Autobots' base, the kids watch (with [[Billy (Armada)|Billy]] and [[Fred (Armada)|Fred]] also there this time). While [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] holds off the Autobots, [[Demolishor (Armada)|Demolishor]] digs up the Mini-Con. [[Cyclonus (Armada)|Cyclonus]], in a rare moment of competence, blasts away Red Alert's attempt to snipe at Demolishor. But just as the Decepticons teleport home, the Mini-Con is blasted from Demolishor's hands by a new Autobot, who [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]] introduces as [[Blurr (Armada)|Blurr]]. Blurr activates the Mini-Con panel, who turns out to be [[Incinerator (Armada)|Incinerator]].

Returning home from victory, the Autobots are greeted by the kids, who show interest in their new friend Blurr, who barely acknowledges the kids.

Later, Incinerator makes beepy conversation with the Street Action Mini-Cons. The five kids try to start conversation with Blurr, but are sidetracked by the topic of Fred's big fat stomach. When [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]] arrives, Blurr icily departs. [[Carlos Lopez|Carlos]] and Billy give chase and Blurr almost mistakes them for the enemy when they jump out and surprise him. Hot Shot tries to break through Blurr's tough guy persona, and Blurr explains that he doesn't need to have a personality.

The Decepticons detect the activation of a new Mini-Con and head out. Demolishor takes extra caution to not lose the Mini-Con at the last minute as he did last time. And Megatron barely registers that the two captured panels containing the components of the [[Skyboom (Armada)|Skyboom Shield]] have started to resonate.

The Decepticons arrive at the general location where the Mini-Con ([[Downshift (Armada)|Downshift]]) has already activated and begun to run laps around a human-made racetrack. The Autobots show up soon after and try to intercept the Mini-Con. Hot Shot and Blurr give chase, while the rest of the Autobots and Decepticons get into a standing firefight.

On the track, Hot Shot and Blurr have conflicting direction, and impact each other a few times. Blurr, however, is unresponsive. [[Smokescreen (Armada)|Smokescreen]] uses his Mini-Con [[Liftor]] to blast away [[Starscream (Armada)|Starscream]], [[Sideways (RID)|Sideways]], and Cyclonus. Blurr and Hot Shot have to stop and combine with their Mini-Cons to overcome the chasm interrupting the racetrack.

On the other side of the track, Blurr, in car mode, begins to rotate rapidly, blowing away Cyclonus and blowing the Mini-Con into the empty stands. Blurr opens up fire on the Mini-Con, causing it to fall beneath the stands where Hot Shot catches it, to Blurr's confusion. Cyclonus yanks the Mini-Con away and the Decepticons retreat.

At the Autobot base, the kids scold Hot Shot for not getting along with Blurr. Hot Shot heads to apologize to Blurr, who appreciates the sentiment and concedes that he was unaware that the Mini-Cons were more than just tools, and that he doesn't interact with others very smoothly. Hot Shot and Blurr give each other respect knuckles like the first episode, and everybody is happy they made a new special friend.

On the moon, Megatron returns with Downshift to discover that [[Dirt Boss (Armada)|Dirt Boss]] and [[Mirage (Armada)|Mirage]] have unlocked on their own, and they combine to form the Skyboom Shield.

==Synopsis==
At the [[Autobot]] base, Carlos sits down to enjoy a drink of milk. The kids discuss Hot Shot's determination as he trains with Scavenger as his new instructor, and Alexis suggests they go see Hot Shot in action. Rad and Alexis rush off and Carlos struggles to catch up, and none of them really seems to care that they left their breakfast behind. So much for the most important meal of the day.

The trio look for Hot Shot, but find only Scavenger, fast asleep, after they initially mistake his snores for the growls of an animal. Alexis jokes that Carlos also likes to take naps. As Scavenger, oblivious to the kids, continues to nap, Hot Shot practices his dramatic punching and kicking. Surprisingly, Scavenger has no commentary to offer.

Seeing Scavenger's sloth, Carlos ponders on the matter of Scavenger's allegiance and advises Hot Shot to be apprehensive. Elsewhere, Carlos overhears similar misgivings regarding Scavenger from Smokescreen, who compares Scavenger to Sideways.

Meanwhile, on the Moon, Starscream puts forward the idea that Scavenger has switched sides. Because Scavenger deserted the Decepticons, Megatron declares him an enemy and puts the call out for his head. Starscream interjects, and Megatron responds by standing, ripping off a panel from the back of his shoulder treads, and throwing it at Starscream, which the steam coming from his shoulder shows.

Back on Earth, the kids inquire after Scavenger with Optimus. Before Prime can explain, the Autobots' Mini-Con detection alarms go off.

In a snowy area, the Autobots and Decepticons square off and battle head-on. Most of the battles are evenly matched, but Scavenger completely out-maneuvers and overpowers a Mini-Con-enhanced Cyclonus. Moments later, when the battle nears a chasm, Scavenger is abruptly missing in action, leaving Hot Shot to reconsider his previous faith in his instructor.

The battle continues, with Optimus and Megatron moving ever closer to the deep chasm, while Scavenger doesn't respond to any calls for him. Back at the Autobot base, Alexis spots Scavenger on the video broadcast from [[Laserbeak (Armada)|Laserbeak]].

Megatron is ready to finish Optimus when Optimus surprises the Decepticon by ejecting his own legs and grabbing hold of Megatron in a move apparently designed to plunge both warriors into the chasm. But before Optimus can plummet heroically to his and Megatron's mutual doom, Scavenger leaps off the other side of the canyon and, in mid-air, manages to fling Optimus to safety.

When the kids express their amazement at how much faith Optimus places in Scavenger, Red Alert patiently explains that Optimus and Scavenger came to trust each other long ago on Cybertron. Why didn't Red Alert enlighten them earlier? For suspense, of course. Red Alert also points out that Scavenger never really switched sides; he was only on the Decepticon side to gain needed strategic information.

While Red Alert schools the kids, on the battlefield, the Autobots take some time to taunt the outnumbered Decepticons. As the Decepticons consider their less-than-ideal situation, Sideways and Megatron emerge dramatically from the chasm, and Sideways sends Megatron flying directly at Scavenger. Unfortunately for the airborne Decepticon leader, Optimus is quick to protect Scavenger and blasts Megatron away. Megatron swears vengeance as the Decepticons beat a hasty retreat.

The battle at last concluded, Smokescreen and Hot Shot tender their apologies to Scavenger, who graciously accepts.

==Synopsis==

The [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] are enjoying their recent success. Starscream casually provokes Demolishor into attacking, and then tauntingly holds the tank off with the [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]]. Starscream walks away, laughing, while Scavenger, characteristically observing events from a distance, predicts that Starscream's arrogance will cause the faction's eventual failure.

In the [[Autobot]] base, things are looking down. Billy and Fred unintentionally lay the blame with Hot Shot. Later, when a repaired Hot Shot is watching the sunset, his moping is interrupted by the five kids making really, really stupid faces. This display of crazy expression cheers the Autobot up. As soon as he's regained his enthusiasm, Hot Shot is called to go on another mission.

In thick foliage, the Autobots and Decepticons all split up to search for the [[Mini-Con]]. Demolishor and Starscream again prepare to clash, but Megatron puts his underlings back in line. Once the other Decepticons leave, Megatron instructs Leader-1 to put "the plan" in motion.

While considering his own ambitions, Starscream comes under attack from laser fire, which is heard by everybody else. Starscream, not seeing his assailant, displays his power by slashing a tree, and then almost accidentally attacks the other Decepticons.

Hot Shot runs into Sideways, who transforms and drives away. Hot Shot chases after the traitor and heads right into Scavenger, who taunts Hot Shot while dodging the Autobot's attacks with ease.

Optimus, Smokescreen, Red Alert, Cyclonus, Starscream, and Demolishor engage in an open firefight. Starscream comes under fire from Leader-1 once again and, unable to see the tiny Mini-Con, again almost accidentally slices Demolishor. Megatron, however, is able to leap out and block the slash. The Decepticons enquire as to why Starscream is attacking his comrades, and eventually it's agreed that Megatron should hold the Star Saber.

Laserbeak, remote piloted by the kids, finds the Mini-Con panel. At the same time, Demolishor's Mini-Con also finds the panel. The Autobots and Decepticons engage each other once more, and Optimus forms his Super mode. Sideways and Hot Shot again race each other. By recalling what Scavenger said earlier, Hot Shot is able to defeat the motorbike. Back at the battle, Scavenger grabs onto the Mini-Con panel, and the Decepticons return to base.

At the Decepticon base, the Mini-Con resonates with the other yellow Mini-Con panel. Scavenger then announces that his time with the Decepticons is over. He soon arrives at the Autobot base, and Optimus orders Red Alert to let the Decepticon inside. Shaking hands with Optimus, Scavenger reveals that his entire time with the Decepticons was as an Autobot spy.

At another battle for a precious [[Mini-Con]], the [[Autobot]]s and the [[Decepticon]]s face each other, with Scavenger suspiciously absent. When Sideways and Hot Shot press forward, Starscream retreats, while Cyclonus and Demolishor also unenthusiastic about the notion of going against the Star Saber. With all the Decepticons literally running away (having apparently forgotten their alt modes), Prime and Smokescreen look for the Mini-Con.

At the battlefield, Sideways announces he's found the Mini-Con, causing him to be rushed by Megatron who sits on the bike. Megatron is able to grasp the Mini-Con, but Sideways in turn holds onto Megatron. And Hot Shot uses his hyperdrive to grab on to Sideways. Together, the three are all caught in Megatron's teleportation back to the Decepticon base. Scavenger, who was apparently passively monitoring the fight from a distance, considers the teleportation "An interesting turn of events." Prime and Smokescreen are left to look for their partner.

On the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], Megatron is unable to awaken the Mini-Con; finding the panel to be a fake, he crushes it into dust. Then Sideways reveals (via a retroactive foreshadowing flashback) to Hot Shot that this was all part of his plan to get Hot Shot inside of the Decepticon base so that he might eliminate the Decepticons. Cyclonus and Demolishor arrive and Megatron orders the battle to begin again.

Scavenger returns to the damaged Decepticon base. Sideways and Hot Shot take cover in a hallway and the Decepticons lead the two Autobots outside, revealing that the Decepticon base is on the moon. The duo follow the Decepticons knowing that they might be heading into a trap. Megatron's disembodied voice taunts Hot Shot. Soon, the couple are surrounded by shadowy figures, and when Hot Shot attempts to plow through one of them to get clear, he sees that one the shadows is Optimus Prime. Or is it?

After attempting to converse with a suspiciously hostile Optimus, Sideways points out that the Optimus Hot Shot is talking to isn't actually Optimus at all but actually a clever ruse. The two take cover in a Moon hole and the two agree to split up to defeat the holographic doppelgangers.

Megatron meanwhile announces that whomever can claim the Star Saber from Hot Shot is allowed to keep it. Hot Shot and Sideways finish off the holograms and Hot Shot briefly hops on Sideways' bike mode as the Decepticons begin their attack. Hot Shot leaps off of Sideways, cutting off Cyclonus's rotor, and knocking over Demolishor as he lands, ready to duel Starscream.

Starscream gains the upper hand against the exhausted Hot Shot, but Megatron reveals that he's taken Sideways prisoner and is ransoming him for the Star Saber. Hot Shot is conflicted, but concedes that it's his duty to save Sideways and gives up the sword. Megatron releases Sideways, but before he can claim the Star Saber, Hot Shot verbally commands the three Mini-Cons to separate and return.

At that moment, Sideways changes sides, knocking the Star Saber away from Hot Shot to Starscream. Sideways changes his head and logo, and Hot Shot emotionally laments how he was easily deceived. Cyclonus and Demolishor literally kick Hot Shot while he's down. Starscream is about to kill Hot Shot to earn the Star Saber, but Scavenger arrives and suggest that Hot Shot has had enough.

Back at the Autobot base, the Autobots and kids have been anxiously waiting. While Carlos, Billy, and Fred believed that Hot Shot would easily defeat the Decepticons, the rest of the Autobots weren't so optimistic. However they were forced in a passive position as they were unaware of the location of the Decepticon base. When Hot Shot arrives in brutal shape and falls offline, Red Alert rushes to provide aid.

Starscream celebrates his new sword, gloating that he is undeniably the most powerful warrior in the universe. This causes an enraged Megatron to destroy the monitor he was watching Starscream upon, eliciting a laugh from Sideways.

In an idyllic setting, Channel 4 reporter [[Kelly Baumgartner]] gives a weather report and is promptly squirted by a small boy with a water pistol. Once the live feed is over, Kelly scares off the rugrat and bemoans her lack of success in making it big.

[[Alexis]] rides [[Sureshock (Armada)|Sureshock]] into the Autobot base, where [[Hot Shot (Armada)|Hot Shot]] and [[Scavenger (Armada)|Scavenger]] are sparring, but when she and the [[Mini-Con]] reach the command centre, it's empty. While she puzzles over where everyone's gone, the Mini-Con alarm sounds. She rushes to the launch area, where [[Optimus Prime (Armada)|Optimus]] tells her nothing is amiss. The boys run up, prepared for a camping trip, and Alexis icily asks why no one told her about the vacation and why she wasn't invited. Although the boys try to convince her they simply forgot, she huffily tells them to go enjoy themselves. After they leave, she asks Sureshock if she should have told them the forecast for this weekend was for rain.

Up on the [[Moon (moon)|Moon]], the [[Decepticon|Decepticons]] are conducting training exercises. Which largely consist of [[Megatron (Armada)|Megatron]] waving the [[Star Saber (Armada)|Star Saber]] and chasing his men around.

Back on Earth, the kids have fun swimming in a river while [[Red Alert (Armada)|Red Alert]] and [[Smokescreen (Armada)|Smokescreen]] discuss the importance of downtime. After [[Carlos Lopez|Carlos]] invites the bots to join in, Smokescreen fishes him out with his crane and tosses him back into the water. Driving along the shore, Smokescreen joins [[Rad White|Rad]], who's optimistically indulging in a spot of fishing. Smokescreen dunks his crane into the water, which Rad protests won't catch any fish, and manages to splash a fish into Rad's hand. On the other side of the river, a small boy named Shaun watches them and soon joins in the fun.

Kelly and her cameraman are driving up the road parallel to the river towards the dam when they notice the kids playing, and Kelly spots [[High Wire (Armada)|High Wire]] and [[Grindor (Armada)|Grindor]] sitting in Smokescreen's cab. Dismissing her story, her cameraman drives on as a storm front begins to close in. Shaun's dad fetches the boy to take him back to the campground as it begins to rain. Carlos complains that they said it was going to be sunny on Channel 4.

That night, they take shelter in the Autobots. [[Billy (Armada)|Billy]] and [[Fred (Armada)|Fred]] play cards. Alexis, safe and warm at home, looks out her window and observes that it's really pouring down. Reporting from Steveson Dam, Kelly's new weather report includes news that the dam floodgates will be opened if rain continues, causing flooding along the river.

The Autobots opt to head for home, much to the disappointment of the kids. Just then, Shaun appears on the other side of the river, waving frantically, so Carlos and Red Alert drive across to see what's up, but Shaun just wants to say goodbye. Suddenly there's a rumbling and a huge mudslide washes across the side of the river, covering all three of them.

Alexis reaches the Autobot base, where Optimus reports the others aren't back yet. When they contact the missing kids, Carlos and Rad let them know about the mudslide and that Shaun, Red Alert and Carlos are trapped under the mud. Optimus tells Red Alert to transform, but Rad says there are people watching. Although Alexis pleads with Optimus to bend the rules, she quickly notices that Kelly and her cameraman have stumbled on the mudslide and are covering it live on Channel 4. Optimus, Hot Shot and Scavenger rush to the scene.

Under the mudslide, Carlos and Red Alert try to reassure Shaun that rescue is not far away.

Smokescreen continues to dig. Kelly covers the story, even as warning sirens begin to sound and her cameraman flees. Shaun's panicked father offers to help, but the kids point out the approaching help in the form of three more Autobots. Hot Shot knocks out Shaun's dad, but as Rad helps the father into Hot Shot, [[Laserbeak (Armada)|Laserbeak]] suddenly takes off. The tiny Autobot circles Kelly's head, making her drop her camera.

Alexis, monitoring the situation from the Autobot base, notices with alarm that the dam floodgates have been opened.

Smokescreen and Scavenger continue to work to dig out Red Alert and finally reach their fellow Autobot. Optimus blocks the river in an attempt to halt the oncoming floodwaters while Red Alert is hauled out of the mud. Once Smokescreen and Red Alert are out of harm's way, Optimus and Scavenger transform. A log washed down the river strikes Scavenger and, as Kelly attempts to film, the two Autobots are pulled out of the flooding river by Red Alert.

Once the storm has passed, Shaun is reunited with his father, who doesn't believe his tale of giant robots. Kelly and her cameraman review the tape from the camera to find she doesn't have any footage of the Autobots. Alexis welcomes everyone back to base and admits she was really scared that they wouldn't make it. After the others patronise her for a while, she finally has enough and chases Carlos.

Up on the Moon, Megatron is still chasing Sideways.

:Your browser is caching the old image. If you click on the image to bring up just the image, then hit "refresh" on your browser, that ought to update your cache. Otherwise, you could try emptying your cache and seeing if that helps.
