Bot Shots (franchise)

Bot Shots is a Transformers franchise launched in 2012 and centered around staging battles between Bot Shot Transformers, two at a time. Rather than make the collecting of specific characters the focus, the franchise plays up the combat aspect of Transformers in the form of a battle game. The line's Japanese release, rebranded "BeCool", ignores the battle aspect of the figures, and focuses on the toys themselves.

The Bot Shots franchise includes:

• A toyline
• An online game, for which special codes included with the toys are needed.
• A Japanese toyline, which ignores the battle aspect.
• Japanese web-cartoon series
