Spying on Autobot City with a number of his soldiers, Galvatron became jealous of the Autobots for their base because its facilities allowed the Autobots to harvest lots of energy. This meant they didn't have to waste time stealing fuel like the Decepticons, whom Galvatron believed could spend it better waging war. Starscream agreed and suggested the Decepticons to build their own city, but Galvatron dismissed that idea, stating he needed the Decepticons for battle.

While discussing who else could build them Decepticon City, Soundwave reported on a human car show that would feature a voice-controlled robot car. Galvatron declared the robot car to be the worker they needed, which they'd steal and research to create a larger workforce suited for the task.

In the end, the theft was prevented by the Autobots and Decepticon City never built. Car Show Blow Up
