Dōmya is an alien from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Dōmya (ドーミャ) is hopefully not a typical member of his species, otherwise the Department of Family Services is going to cry. Dōmya seems to feel that a good beating is the way to show affection and teach your family new skills. Learn to swim, slap around the head. Learn to be an adult, slap about the neck. Potty training must have been a real pain.

Oddly, he needs goggles when underwater.

Dōmya tried to teach his little brother, Gōmya, how to swim. However, Gōmya was rather incompetent because he was just a kid, resulting in many a beating from Dōmya which, naturally, hurt his brother's feelings as much as his flesh. Well, Gōmya's mental anguish eventually collided with an Angolmois Capsule which had just crashed on their planet, Solid. The resulting effect froze Dōmya, as well as all of Solid, in a block of ice. The Maximal Break eventually helped Gōmya learn to swim and convinced him to give his big brother a second chance, thawing out both him and Solid. As Gōmya began to drown, a newly thawed Dōmya came to help bring both Gōmya and Break to the surface. He would go on to compliment his brother's newly acquired swimming skills after helping Break retrieve the Angolmois Capsule.

Dōmya, along with his brother, thanked the Maximals for helping thaw their planet. Burning Heart Below Freezing
