- I see this has been flagged for deletion. Although it's not explicitly used in TF fiction it is the standard symbol for the group (and thus, I would argue, "appears" in the text story featuring Ramak and Braxe at the very least). I intended to set it (and the Spectral Knight unicorn) up for use in the faction icons template, to be used on the few Visionaries character pages we've got, for consistency's sake. In that regard, I think it meets the same standard as the Animorphs and Rebel Alliance icons. which also don't appear in any TF fiction. Danja (talk) 05:51, 14 May 2019 (EDT)
- The Animorphs and Rebel Alliance logos appear on the packaging of their respective Transformers toys. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 08:34, 14 May 2019 (EDT)
- Packaging isn't really media, is it? If we're counting that we should count the use of these symbols in Transformers UK. This seems a really pointless hair to split for two images that will spruce up some stubs slightly. Danja (talk) 12:05, 14 May 2019 (EDT)
- Yes, packaging counts. But use of these symbols in a back up strip that didn't cross over with the main title doesn't seem to be enough.--Khajidha (talk) 13:33, 14 May 2019 (EDT)
- We have the MASK logo used in a similar way, despite it not appearing in-universe, only on the comic covers and the Revolution SDCC boxset. We have the VENOM logo used similarly despite it not appearing anywhere. I really don't see how bringing over a key part of the official branding for a Hasbro franchise that's lightly entwined into the canon is a problem. There's a point at which canonical purity becomes obstinate pedantry. And if it's really necessary to go full-pedant on this, Darkstorm appears in TF V Vis #1 in his original 80s design, thereby making his original toy a cross-over element, the packaging of which features both these symbols.
