I won't stress this too heavily, but it might be appropriate if this image were renamed to fit the (admittedly loose) conventions for naming comic book covers (so that the images all line up properly when/if someone clicks on the "Category:Comic covers" link for such images). In this case, such would probably look something like "gathering4d.jpg". More information can be found at Category_talk:Comic_covers.
Just a thought. Like I said, it's not something I intend to make a huge fuss over.--G.B. Blackrock 22:26, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, according to Wiki conventions, we wouldn't even upload this cover, because The Gathering is just one singular article with one of the covers of #1 represented. Not a convention I agree with, but dem's the breaks. (Besides, this isn't the whole cover, and it is cropped to get the logo and title out of there.) --ItsWalky 23:01, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I only bring it up since it was categorized as a comic cover, and therefore showed up when I looked at the "Category:Comic covers" page on another matter entirely, causing me to say "Hmmmm. I don't remember that one. Let's click the link to find out more." :) --G.B. Blackrock 23:10, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
- If we don't like that convention, why don't we change it? I don't see why Prime Directive should get one page, while War and Peace gets six, just because the latter has individual issue titles. - RolonBolon 23:43, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't say "we" don't like the convention, I said "I." If the feelings go the other way, we should change it. --ItsWalky 00:14, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Indeed, if you want to create individual article pages for each issue of (say) Prime Directive, go right ahead. When I was the only one writing comic articles, someone said it would be easier just to go by stories, rather than individual issues. Since I was doing mostly just Marvel US issues, and most Marvel US issues were on a 1-to-1 ratio issues-to-stories, I saw no reason to argue. I'm not even really involved in that anymore, so I don't really care one way or the other.--G.B. Blackrock 04:20, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

- Aha. I had forgotten that using the comiccover Fair Use tag automatically put it in the Comic Covers category. That may be a little problematic in occasions like these, but nothing catastrophic. I've replaced it with another tag. --ItsWalky 23:23, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
