Are you sure? Because Sam and Mikaela SAW that protoform in the open ground. Prime makes his grand entrance before them later, it couldn't be him. Had to be Ironhide. Jazz landed in the baseball stadium and Ratchet landed in the firehouse, so it wasn't them out in the open ground. Detour 03:57, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

No, Prime lands in the crater that Sam and Mikaela stake out, turns and runs the other direction, and then scans the truck from the top of the hill. Ironhide very clearly lands in the pool and scans the Topkick. (The neighbors', according to the novelization.) There is no wiggle room for the pool bot to be anyone but Ironhide. --ItsWalky 06:02, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Also the pace shows that the open ground one was Ironhide, cause you see the pool protoform hiding behind the tree, then runs off a bit, then we switch to a scene of Ironhide just finish scanning a truck, then again, switch to the famous Prime truck scan. (PM)

Prime's protoform crashes into the field in the middle of nowhere near the observatory the kids are in. Jazz crashes into the baseball stadium, Ratchet into the storefront and Ironhide into the pool. Prime's protoform transforms, gets up and runs away. Ironhide's protoform gets out of the pool, walks away from the girl, hides behind the trees from the girl's parents, and then leaves as the truck belonging to that family. Prime, still in the middle of nowhere, stands upon a hill overlooking a road and scans the truck as it drives past.

Okay, I just watched the trailer again, in a high quality file format, and the head design of the robot who climbs out of the pool is 100% Prime's head design. Go back and watch it. That head design is pure Prime, not Ironhide. Detour 05:27, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

The protoform running in the field also looks like Prime. And the Jazz protoform doesn't even have Jazz's trademark Cross shaped hands. I think we can safely say that the protoforms were roughly identical. --Terrocon Blot 05:44, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

They appear to be identical. At Ben Procter's porfolio page on the protoforms, there's just one representative of the protoform bot mode, and he gave a generic name for its filename. If you look at his other images, he gave the specific final character names (as approved by Hasbro, not Bay) for their filenames, even the designs that were eventually dropped or were extremely early. I will operate under the assumption that the protoform designs are largely identical UNTIL we get official information otherwise.

And the heavenly music was to play up what Bumblebee said earlier (through his radio) about who they were, and the fact the little girl thought the bot in the pool was the tooth fairy. --FFN 05:58, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
