Was Tripwire called by name or shown full-body in the issue? That visor design doesn't look like Tripwire's to me - his is more integrated into his helmet and goggle-shaped. The visor in the scan reminds me more of Flash or Grand Slam. --Monzo 03:25, 28 April 2011 (EDT)

I used YoJoe.com's comic guide to identify him. I'm no Joe expert, but I thought those slight "ear"-protrusions his helmet has indicate him to be Tripwire rather than either Flash or Grand Slam. Geewunling 03:46, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
Yep, the Yojoe comic guide identifies the visored guy in both issues 3 and 4 as being Tripwire. Personally, I kind of agree with Monzo that it doesn't look all that Tripwire-esque but Yojoe.com is a notable Joe fansite so they know their stuff. It's possible they even asked the writer or artist. --Detour 04:16, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
Well, like I asked above - is he shown full-body, or at least more than his head, at any point in the issues where he appears? I'd rather look at the appearances themselves and take a stab at IDing him than going strictly off what Yojoe says, but I don't have time right now to dig my own copies out. --Monzo 04:44, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
He's on a RAM in a groupshot in issue 4. --Detour 04:48, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
If you're going to check visor's identity, would it be possible to get a confimation on the Iron Grenadier chick in Black Horizon 2? The tfwiki says she's Mistress Armada. YoJoe says she's Mistress Armada. But she sure doesn't look like the Mistress Armada I can find with google. Geewunling 07:05, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
She's in part 1 and WOW, that is so not Mistress Armada. For starters, Mistress Armada was black, and most definitely not a redhead. --Detour 07:24, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
Allright, I pulled out my issues. The additional active and reserve Joes called in show up in about four places; this panel, the last page of #4, one of the covers to #5, and the first splash page of #5. Just going by my gut as a Joe fan, these are who I see:
This image: Sci-Fi, Quick-Kick, Lady Jaye, Beachhead, Flash (because he has a backpack), Storm Shadow.
Issue 4 page: Beachhead (again), Duke, Storm Shadow (again), Stalker, Barbecue, Lady Jaye (again), Sci-Fi (again), some kind of horribly off-model/off-color Flash-like guy (maybe, but he has thigh-boots), two completely unidentifiable squiggly men.
Issue 5 cover: Storm Shadow (again again), Cover Girl, Flint, Duke (back from #4), Stalker (back from #4), Sci-Fi (again again), Dusty, Flash (again again?), Lady Jaye (again again).
Issue 5 splash page: Flint, Lady Jaye, Dusty, Flash (I think? chest pads are wrong shape, but it's colored as him), Stalker, Fast Draw, Rock'n'Roll, Beachhead, Duke, and... honestly, the last two guys look to me like a miscolored Spirit and a miscolored Star Brigade Sci-Fi (going by the helmet shape).
Considering that Flash more-or-less consistently shows up with the other people called in, I would say the guy on the monitor is him. Also, it's kind of funny to me that Quick-Kick doesn't show up in the later groups at all, but I guess there's only so much he could've done. --Monzo 09:08, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
It's really hard to tell because the art in Art of War (ba-dum-psh) is all over the place, given the three artists working on it. But I'd say it's Flash if only IIRC, all the guys in Art of War were guys who'd shown up in previous stories. --Detour 09:21, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
Fast Draw shows up out of nowhere in AoW too... but that probably doesn't matter. Would you two be so kind to fix whatever you believe to be wrong? Because I have no clue anymore who is who. Geewunling 11:41, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
