Transformers: Maximum Force, published by Titan Books, is the name of the fourteenth printed Generation 1 trade paperback, which contains five issues of the original US Transformers comics published by Marvel.
Contents
[edit]- Bob Budiansky sketchbook
- "Pretender to the Throne!"
- "Totaled!"
- "People Power!"
- "The Cosmic Carnival"
- "Monstercon from Mars!"
- Covers
- A gallery of all paperback versions of the Titan Transformers books.
Items of Note
[edit]- This collection includes five comic issues as opposed to the usual six. This is due to the omission of issue #43, which was not part of the same continuity.
- Like a number of the covers, the trade paperback cover features a lot of off model images. Scorponok has a slightly more toy like 'window' on his chest, unlike the Marvel Comics model (it isn't actually a window on the toy but at least it's a simpler shape). Blowpipe is HUGELY off model to the point that it took a lot of work to ID him. The gun mode kinda features his barrels, but without the blue barrel and his leg piece being on top. The barrels are merged with the main frame, his robot mode has the main barrel become the handle in the chest, while his toy blue gun barrel does not appear. Skullgrin should have a white or light purple skull. The Steelhaven, however, is fairly on model.
