The Transformers: Primacy is the third and final part of the trilogy that began with Autocracy and Monstrosity. It was announced at WonderCon 2014,[1] and drops the eight-page, digital-first chapters of the previous installments to become a regular four-issue mini-series.

Flint Dille described the series as "sort of like the Transformers' 'Lord of the Rings'," adding that it will be focused on the most epic and destructive battle of the Cybertronian Civil War.

Like Autocracy and Monstrosity, Primacy was written by Chris Metzen and Flint Dille and drawn by Livio Ramondelli. Livio had a hand in the story this time, co-plotting along with the other guys.
