Sonic rifle
The Insecticon Barrage carries a sonic rifle. Sometimes, instead of having his sonic weaponry built into his superstructure, Rumble also sports a sonic rifle to perform his sound-based attacks. It emits a high-pitched whine.

[edit]Rumble used his sonic rifle against both the Autobots Optimus Prime and Prowl, and you. In one possible scenario, Rumble used the weapon to send sound waves rippling towards you through the earth. Thankfully, you were standing near the Druid Stone. The stone's mysterious powers reflected the ripples back towards the Decepticon, leaving you unharmed while Rumble was sent hurtling through the air. Highway Clash

After the Insecticons abducted the Race Track Patrol and several other Micromasters from Little Iacon, Barrage's sonic rifle was stolen by Chop Shop as they made their way back to Decepticon HQ. Recipe for Hate

- As was relatively common with Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profiles, Barrage's weapon was given a slightly different name, only for it to be referred to by its more traditional name when it later appeared in Dreamwave's Micromasters.
