MediaWiki:TFWiki.net 2014 Transformers Hall of Fame Auditions
In 2010, Hasbro launched the Transformers Hall of Fame, honoring both those who have contributed to the development of our beloved franchise and the characters that inhabit it! The first four honorees to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame were Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream, and a vote across the fandom elected Dinobot to be the fifth. In 2011, Hasbro automatically inducted Ratchet, Ironhide, and Soundwave, and the fandom cast its vote for Waspinator! Next, in 2012, Hasbro automatically inducted Grimlock, Jazz, and Shockwave, and the fandom voted in Wheeljack! Then, in 2013, Hasbro did away with automatic inductions, and fans voted in Ultra Magnus and Beast Wars Megatron!
Now, in 2014, the voting begins again!
The rules are as follows:
- You must pick your top five Transformers characters, from any era. They must actually be Transformers; sorry, but no humans, non-Transformer aliens, non-Transformer robots, or anything else of the sort are being considered for the Hall of Fame. Any votes for such entities will not be tabulated. It is the sole discretion of the contest organizers to decide what does and does not count.
- Take your top five list and put it in alphabetical order. Order of preference does not matter. Feel free to denote the character's franchise of origin, although these distinctions may or may not figure into the final results.
- You must take this list and put it on this page, making sure to bulletpoint and sign it.
- You cannot pick a specific version of Bumblebee, Dinobot, Grimlock, Ironhide, Jazz, Megatron, Beast Wars Megatron, Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Ultra Magnus, Waspinator, or Wheeljack. They've already been inducted!
- However, you CAN vote for Optimus Primal! Hasbro considers him separate!
- Only one entry per user.
MediaWiki's entry period ends at 4pm on June 2nd, 2014. The final results will then be sent to our friends at Hunter Public Relations, who will combine our data with that of other fansites; the overall top five Transformers will then be used in a poll that will appear starting early in June on the official Transformers page on Facebook, where the world at large will vote for the next two entrants into the Hall of Fame!
