Wonder Festival (ワンダーフェスティバル), abbreviated as Wonfes (ワンフェス), is a biannual Japanese convention for toys, figures, and sculptures. WF Winter is held in February, while WF Summer is held in July. The event is sponsored by Kaiyodo manufacturing company, where it attracts a large number of exhibitors, from toy companies to small garage kit sculptors. It has been held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. TakaraTomy occasionally debuts new product prototypes at the event booth exhibit, and sometimes various exclusiveTransformers merchandise is made for it.
This event not only hosts booth displays for the first party toy companies, but also encourages small creators to produce official merchandise under their special one-day license. Often, the products produced in such small quantities leads to said products gaining substantial value on the secondary markets. This is also the only instance where creators outside of TakaraTomy can produce licensed Transforming figures.
