A ship carrying [[Autobot]]s from [[Caminus]] visited Marasma, where [[Firestar (G1)|Firestar]] acquired some black diamond to colour her hair and the actor [[Vertex]] was infected with personality ticks. After draining Vertex of her charisma and killing her, the ticks spread to the ''[[Vis Vitalis]]'' where [[Skater]], [[Flex]] and [[Borer]] deduced their origin and devised a way to defeat them. {{storylink|The Frail Gaze}}
