The Human Confederacy was born in 2029 through reverse engineering of Cybertronian technology. After the [[Scouring of Nebulos]] in 2031, the [[Human|humans]] imposed an armistice on the Cybertronians pushing them into the [[Allowed Zone]] consisting of [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]] and nine other worlds. [[Galvatron (G1)|Galvatron]] made [[Great Push|an attempt]] to break free of the Allowed Zone which went rather poorly for the Cybertronians. The humans cut the Allowed Zone in half and continued to advance their technology even further as they explored the galaxy. {{storylink|Micro-Aggressions}}

In the mid to late 24th century, mankind began to divide into the Traditionalist and the Celestial movements. By the 25th century, this division had grown into a schism that began to suck resources away from the Confederacy Fleet which resulted in old ships being stuck in service longer than they should.
