The '''Talisman''' is an object created by the [[Guardian Knight]]s, for the purpose of seeking out a being worthy enough to be deemed a Knight and aid in the battle against [[Quintessa (TLK)|Quintessa]]. It has some degree of sentience, as it is able to alter its shape and even become mobile if that is necessary to fulfill its purpose. 

According to the prophecy, the Talisman appearing is the first sign of the apocalypse, signalling the end of times. [[Daytrader|Some bots]] would consider it wise to stay as far away from it as possible.

The Talisman was an object created by the [[Guardian Knight]]s at some point in the distant past. It was prophesied to mean the end times if found or used. It was created for the purpose of finding someone worthy enough to be a Knight, and could form the legendary sword [[Excalibur]]. The chosen Knight would aid in the fight against [[Quintessa (TLK)|Quintessa]].

In the 21st Century, |Quintessa]] the '''"Great Deciever"''' enacted a plan to use the [[Staff of Merlin]], to restore [[Cybertron]]. A [[Talisman Knight|Knight]] of the would travel to Earth to gift the Talisman to a being worthy enough to be '''"The Last Knight"'''. The [[Transformers Reaction Force|TRF]] shot down the [[Talisman Knight's ship|Ship]], which crash landed in the no-go-zone of [[Chicago]] where he would be mortally wounded. The fugitive and [[Transformer|Cybertronian]] sympathizer [[Cade Yeager]], tried to help the Knight, even pressing his wound. The Knight in it's last moments deemed him to be worthy of the Talisman and tried to give it to him, stating that it would 'protect him'. Cade refused it however believing it to be a trinket and would leave without it. 

After the Knights death, the Talisman would become mobile and follow Cade to the [[Junkyard(TLK)|Junkyard]] where he and several Autobots were hiding out. 
Later [[Daytrader]] a Cybertronian merchant would notice the Talisman, but beleived it to be a replica, saying that if it was real it would be a sign of the Apocalypse. Cade was surprised by the Talismans appearance.
