'''Fan Built Bots''' are characters created by [[Hasbro]] by polling [[fandom]]. Thus far two sets of polls have been held, resulting in the creation of a single bot, [[Windblade (G1)|Windblade]], in [[2013]] and a [[combiner]], [[Victorion]], in [[2015]].

==2013 polls==

The result, [[Windblade (G1)|Windblade]], was revealed first in art form at [[San Diego Comic-Con]] 2013, with her toy subsequently revealed at [[Toy Fair 2014]]. Windblade obtained a [[Windblade (G1)#Generations|toy]] in the 10th wave of [[Size class|Deluxe-class]] ''[[Transformers: Generations|Generations]]'' toys; she also starred in a [[The Transformers: Windblade|4-issue miniseries]] from [[IDW Publishing]], which was later revived as an ongoing series.

Due to the character's popularity, a [[Windblade (RID)|different incarnation]] of Windblade is also featured in the ''[[Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015 cartoon)|Transformers: Robots in Disguise]]'' cartoon, with [[The Buzz on Windblade|an episode focused on her]].

==2015 polls==
The second set of poll was announced on [[January 15]], 2015, this time to create a whole new combiner. The polling was done via the ''Transformers'' mobile app. The first set of polls began on [[January 25]]. Each limb was voted on individually. This poll infamously revealed the alternate modes for what would become ''[[Combiner Wars (toyline)|Combiner Wars]]'' Voyager Class [[Hot Spot (G1)#CombinerWars|Protectobot Hot Spot]] and Legends Class [[Groove (G1)#Generations|Protectobot Groove]] before those figures would be officially unveiled at [[Toy Fair]] 2015.
