The '''Mountain Dew Robots''' are a group of Transformers operating in secret on Earth.  Although only two individual members are known -- both of whom transform into [[Wikipedia:Mountain Dew|Mountain Dew]] vending machines -- the existence of a divergent future timeline in which an entire complex known as Dew City is built implies that they may be as numerous as the [[Chevy Autobot]]s.  At the very least, there's probably a red one.  And a blue one.  And two black ones.  And a ''diet'' one...

The origin of the Mountain Dew Robots is unknown.  At least one of their number was awakened on Earth by the [[All Spark]]'s area-effect, but the others are unaccounted for.  They might be [[NBE|aliens]].

Mountain Dew Robots have not been identified as either Autobot or Decepticon.  Dewbot, in fact, sports the Mountain Dew logo on his forehead where a faction symbol would normally go.  Given what little is known about them, the Mountain Dew Robots might even represent their own faction.  A faction of REFRESHMENT.

'''Dewbot''' is a covert infiltration agent specializing in heavily trafficked human installations.  You could walk by him, even stop and ''touch'' him, and never know you'd interacted with a Transformer.{{storylink|Capture the Cube}}

Disguised as a large vending machine he is effectively invisible to humans who are used to seeing them everywhere.  The moment humans' backs are turned, Dewbot engages his whisper-mode transformation sequence and continues on his mission.  The result is quite similar to Bugs Bunny disguising himself as a bush.

Dewbot's robot mode has four arms canted front and rear, affording him an almost spider-like dexterity.  Magnetic grapplers on his feet allow him to scale walls and even ceilings.  He is strong enough to shatter 3 inch steel with his bare hands.  Completing the illusion of his alternate mode, Dewbot is capable of dispensing Mountain Dew or Code Red.

Dewbot's craft relies on remaining undetected; he has no on-board armaments and his land speed is below average.  He cannot see in the dark.

He also enjoys the lost art of ''dance'', often taking time in the middle of a mission to strut his stuff.

Dewbot staked out [[Sector Seven]] headquarters while the [[All Spark]] was being moved, following the relocation team in and evading detection in order steal it.{{Storylink|Capture the Cube}}

Since Dewbot failed to capture the All Spark in any known continuity, presumably his infiltration ended with the 'Game Lost' ending, in which he triggers one too many alarms and the All Spark is locked down.

The timing of Dewbot's mission is unclear, but the All Spark's relocation implies that it falls either before (or immediately after) [[James Farr]]'s death on March 16 2006, or after [[Rebecca Howard]]'s arrest on April 1st 2007, since Dr. Howard stonewalled all experimentation on the All Spark in the interim.

Dewbot is not the only Pepsi product vending machine running around the American west -- when [[Sam Witwicky]] accidentally activated the All Spark during his flight from the [[Decepticon]]s in [[Mission City]], the artifact's radiation animated an SUV [[steering wheel robot|steering wheel]], an [[Xbox 360 robot|Xbox 360]], and a Mountain Dew soda machine into robots.  This Mountain Dew Robot sports a different head and has an arm-mounted can-[[cannon]]. You might think this is pretty awesome, but unopened soda cans are much less delicious and refreshing when used as projectiles. {{storylink|Transformers (2007)}}

The [[Transform Your Summer]] promotional site included images of '''Dew City'''; a horrible (yet strangely refreshing) post-apocalyptic Earth where the planet's entire water supply had been transformed into Mountain Dew and a gleaming emerald cityscape rose to cover the entire planet.  The Dew City images were available in both Autobot and Decepticon versions.

Dew City's origins are unknown, but it appears to be linked to a recurring image on the Transform Your Summer site of the All Spark, floating in orbit of Earth, nearly colliding with a 20oz. bottle of Mountain Dew.
