A few references are carried over from these other incarnations — Bumblebee notes that the bar used to be "an old oil house," referencing the bar's full name, and the bar retains its policy of catering to both Autobots and Decepticons while upholding a "no fighting" law strictly enforced by its owner — traits held over from its original incarnation in the Marvel UK comics. 
* Bumblebee notes that Maccadam is rumored to be one of the original [[Thirteen]] Primes. Aside from being the first mention of the Thirteen in the Cyberverse continuity, this plot point is likely inspired by 2015's "[[Ask Vector Prime]]" feature, which implied that Vector's sibling [[Alchemist Prime]] had taken up a new identity as a humble bartender, implying but never outright stating that he may be the mysterious Maccadam.
