Two Warriors Come Out of the Sky

Synopsis
In orbit above Caminus, the space bridge disgorges the Combiners Computron and Menasor, already gripped in battle. The two trade blows as they fall towards the planet's surface, and the Decepticon takes the upper hand, tearing off Nosecone and Afterbreaker as they approach the spires below. Crashing to the ground, Computron insists on the illogicality of their fight, but is silenced by a foot to the face from a triumphant Menasor.

The Decepticon combiner quickly comes under fire, however, from a pair of Camiens—former cityspeaker Windblade and her companion Maxima. Menasor gives chase, but comes to a halt after Windblade cuts off his left leg, Brake-Neck. The Combiner retaliates with a blow that knocks Maxima's arm clean off, and grabs hold of Windblade. In a self-sacrificial play, Maxima burns her jets in Menasor's face, freeing Windblade but earning herself a fatal blow from the Combiner in the process.

In a rage, Windblade cleaves Dead End from Menasor's shoulder and then slices the entire combiner in half at the waist. With his dying words, the Decepticon combiner insists that Windblade is not fighting for her planet or friends, but is just a "killer" like him, and warns that the council on Cybertron has plans to use the Enigma of Combination to raise an army of Combiners. With Menasor dead, Windblade sheds tears for Maxima, before taking her fallen comrade's blaster and heading through the space bridge to Cybertron, not noticing that Computron clings to life.

On Cybertron, Optimus Prime awaits...

Quotes
"It is illogical for Menasor and Computron to fight. Conclusion: Combiners should cease fighting and-" [Menasor punches Computron through a building] "...Probability of my survival is-"<br>
[Menasor stomps on Computron's head]<br>
"ZERO!"
:—Computron pleading with Menasor, who isn't too interested.

"What a nerd."
:—Menasor is unimpressed with Computron.

"Oh look, it's the high and mighty Cityspeaker. You here to talk at me?"<br>
"I don't do that any more."<br>
"Works for me, never was much of a talker."
:—Menasor says that he doesn't talk much to Windblade, yet he has the most speaking lines in this episode.

"You said 'For Caminus and Maxima', we both know that's not true. Hah... hah... you're just a killer, like me."
:— Menasor doing his best Liquid Snake impression.

Notes
Continuity notes
*Unsurprisingly, Menasor appears in his Combiner Wars toy design, featuring Wildrider/Brake-Neck rather than Offroad for his left leg.
*Computron, meanwhile, has the torso of his Generation 1 toy with the head and limbs of his Combiner Wars figure (minus the pauldron formed by Scrounge and Cybaxx, naturally), the result of design revisions mid-way through production.
*While we are acknowledging Menasor's left leg to be Brake-Neck and arm as Dead End, the show itself does not, simply treating them as... Menasor's limbs, not individuals in any way. No names are mentioned or robot modes seen aside from Menasor.
*Likewise, while we acknowledge Computron's limbs as Afterbreaker and Nosecone, the show itself treats them solely as an arm and leg with no autonomous identities.
*Windblade's face mask appears to sort of... fall off in sections, rather than retracting in any kind of sensible manner.
*Maxima's facial markings imply that she is a cityspeaker like Windblade.

Animation and technical errors
* Both Maxima and Windblade are effectively flying backwards in jet mode when Menasor charges through an elevated floor to attack them. It's apparently possible for some vertical take-off and landing aircraft to fly backwards, but if that is the case here then their jet engines shouldn't still be producing thrust as shown.
