[[Pyra Magna]] was imprisoned in the White Tower for the destruction of [[Turmoil]]'s ship during the [[War of the Threefold Spark]].  After the rise of the [[Decepticon]]s, her release was authorized by [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Optimus Prime]], who sent [[Chromia (G1)|Chromia]] to retrieve Pyra.  Roadmaster was uneasy about letting the Tower's most infamous prisoner out, and even moreso when Pyra requested that the place's comm blockers be momentarily shut off.  Pyra broadcast a message to [[Jumpstream]], who [[teleportation|teleported]] to the [[Great General]]'s side atop the Tower.  {{storylink|War World: Awakenings|Awakenings}}
