Major Bludd participated in Cobra's first major public action, a [[Battle Android Trooper]] attack on [[Washington, D.C.]].  {{storylink|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers issue 1|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers #1}} Later, he, [[Doctor Mindbender]], and the [[Baroness]] greeted [[Destro]] and his [[Iron Grenadier]]s on their arrival to [[Cobra Island]].  Bludd suspected that the Baroness was ''particularly'' happy to see the arms dealer. {{storylink|G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers issue 2|G.I.
