'''Lorenzo di Bonaventura''' (born [[1957]]) is an American film producer, long-time collaborator of [[Michael Bay]], and the godfather of pretty much every single blockbuster ''Transformers'' film. During the 1990s he served as an executive at Warner Bros. Pictures, climbing up the ranks to become President of Worldwide Production. While at Warner, some of his more noteworthy accomplishments included discovering and overseeing the production of ''The Matrix'' trilogy of movies (which starred [[Hugo Weaving]]) <small>(yay!)</small> as well as securing the rights to the ''Harry Potter'' series <small>(boo!)</small> before leaving in [[2002]] to form his own production company. For the next twenty years, he stewarded the film arm of the [[Transformers brand|''Transformers'' brand]] at the helm of the self-titled '''Di Bonaventura Pictures''' (in association with [[Paramount Pictures|Paramount]]) through hell or high water, where he continues to this day.

Outside of the ''Transformers'' brand, some of his other projects include all three ''[[G.I. Joe (franchise)|G.I.
