A herd of robo-deer were grazing near where a group of miners emerged from [[Iacon (polity)|Iacon]]. The group came up on a herd of the beasts, only for the robo-deer to flee  towards a nearby ruin when a [[Quintesson]] ship caused the ground to shake as it arrived overhead. As the group of miners took shelter in the ruin, one of the robo-deer attempted to sprint through the buildings, only to be blasted by the overhead ship.

Much later, as energon flooded back to Cybertron's surface, a group of robo-deer rushed over to partake. {{storylink|Transformers One (film)|Transformers One}}

*While the robo-deer went unnamed in the film, the [[Transformers One: Movie Novelization|novelization]] refers to them as "unusual robo-deer creatures". The film's script refers to them variously as "robo-deer", "electro-deer" and plain "deer".
