*Metrobase is (in its one illustrated appearance, seen at the top of this article) drawn to resemble the Autobot [[city-bot]] [[Metroplex (G1)|Metroplex]]. Its white, blue and burgundy coloration, meanwhile, is similar, but not identical, to the Metroplex [[redeco]] [[Metrotitan (G1)|Metrotitan]]. Any fictional connection between Metrobase and either of these two Transformers is never mentioned, nor is it revealed if the Metrobase can transform as they can.
