'''Jimmy''' is a young boy living in [[Portland]], [[Oregon]]. Judging from the poster for ''[[wikipedia:Escape_(Journey_album)|Escape]]'' in his room and his interest in old cassette players, he is hopelessly stuck in the 80's.

In 2007, Jimmy found an old [[Soundwave (G1)|cassette player]] in a pawn shop. Despite his friend's complaints that it was just old junk, Jimmy recognized it as a classic and bought it. {{storylink|Spotlight: Soundwave}} Some time later, he was seen playing video games, blissfully unaware that his cassette player was sending out signals to mess with [[Skywatch]]. {{storylink|Devastation issue 4|Devastation #4}}

As Jimmy was playing with an [[Snake-Eyes|action figure]], [[Ravage (G1)|Ravage]] busted through his wall and told him that he had something that didn't belong to him. This was quickly followed by [[Laserbeak (G1)|Laserbeak]] burning the roof of Jimmy's house and stealing his cassette player.
