As part of G.I. Joe's air force, Slip-Stream attacked the [[Cobra]] aircraft that were escorting [[Power Station Alpha]] to [[Cobra Island]]. While the battle went in the Joes' favor, Cobra got away by holding an innocent cruise ship hostage. {{storylink|Power Struggle}} When Slip-Stream learned that Cobra were trying to save the world from the [[Decepticon]]s in their own way, he did not look forward to working alongside them. {{storylink|Ashes, Ashes...}} Regardless of his sentiments, Slip-Stream joined forces with the Cobra and the [[Autobot]] air forces and attacked the Decepticons' base.
