Dim Tim accompanied [[Doctor Boxer]]'s archeology class on a field trip to [[Dinobot Island (G1)|Dinobot Island]], where he was left supervising a group of students at the southern end of the island.  Two of the group, Randall and [[Ed]] uncovered what appeared to be a [[Paddles (character)|metal elasmosaur]], while [[Harcourt]]'s team found an old jukebox buried not far away.  Once both had been excavated, it turned out that the jukebox was actually a [[Decepticon]] named [[Raze]], who attacked the students when he was reactivated.  {{storylink|Paddles (story)|Paddles}}
