Hoping to draw more [[Godmaster]]s out of the woodwork, [[Ginrai]] arranged for an appearance on the Wideshow.  In front of the cameras, he transformed into his robot mode and asked for anyone who had had strange experiences to contact him via the station.  Unsurprisingly the resulting feedback was less than helpful, including some person who insisted they were from outer space.  The broadcast was seen by the [[Decepticon]] [[Headmaster Junior]]s, which led to Ginrai being attacked by the Decepticon Godmasters. {{storylink|Eliminate the Godmaster Ginrai}}

Ginrai would continue to pop back to the station to check out the mail received as a result of his appearance.  This finally bore fruit when he found a letter from [[Lightfoot]] which sent him on a mission to Canada to locate the young man.
