[[Stratosphere]] was seconded to NEST Ops Vancouver and did routine patrols when contact was lost with him over British Columbia. Captain Fraser, a senior official at the base, called in an Autobot search-and-rescue team, though she didn't rate Stratosphere's chances.

Canada Forces Air Command doesn't have AV-8B's, though they sure appeared to come from CFB Comox in the strip. (Comox does have other planes with bombing capabilities)
