Rage was being pursued by an [[Cybertron Elite Guard|Elite Guard]] team after stealing the [[Heart of the Dragon]], so once he reached the Metrotitan, he unleashed Buffalo Dump and the three Minotorons. The four creatures stamped down Metrotitan's entrance ramp and Rage used a speaker attached to Buffalo Dump to introduce his creations to the confused [[Autobot]]s. The [[Combaticon (G1)|Combaticon]]s opened fire, but quickly discovered that that Minotorons' hides were thick enough to simply deflect the lasers. After dodging the creatures, [[Dion]] remembered a doohicky that [[Swindle (G1)|Swindle]] happened to have that might help. Said device's sonic emissions repelled the Minotorons, which headed back towards the Metrotitan.
