And also, based on the leaked design for Scrapper in that big Devastator pic from a few days back, Scrapper's arms are much thicker than the ones on Scrapmetal. When errors are listed in the form of a question, I sometimes have the urge to answer them. "How on Earth did the big metal box containing a complex electronic mechanism shouting to be released ever make it through airport luggage screening?" I don't know about the film, but in the novel it is Mikaela's Epic Hotness that distracts the guard into just letting her through. That and she said there were expensive mechanic's tools inside so it might look strange in an x-ray. Sure I have my doubts that would happen in the real-world, but that is the in-fiction explanation.
