As part of a plan to create [[energon (fuel)|energon]] out of energy, [[Scorpnok (G1)|Scorponok]] had [[Iguanus (G1)|Iguanus]] install an electrostator at the top of the [[Empire State Building]], where it would draw the power of a thunderstorm created by the [[Decepticon]]s' [[stormmaker station]]. The plan was foiled when the [[Micromaster]] [[Roadhandler (G1)|Roadhandler]] punched the electrostator off the Building's spire. Iguanus attempted to grab it midair, but was struck by the gigantic thunderbolt, which sent him plummeting all the way to the ground. {{storylink|King Con!}}
