* [[Flint Dille]], who co-wrote "Prime Target", had a large hand in the development of [[Sunbow Productions|Sunbow]]'s ''[[Inhumanoids]]'' series — a series which featured an Inhumanoid named Ssslither, a reptilian giant who had been sealed in an ancient temple deep within Borneo. It's unlikely that a direct connection between the beast of Borneo and Ssslither was ever intended, but it does raise the question of why Dille seems to associate the island with giant reptiles.
