The [[Machination]], through its [[Idea & Design Works Custom Wheels]] front in [[Fort Wayne]], [[Indiana]], bought some Ultralite-50 from Ultralite America, as did a garage in [[Beaver]], [[Utah]]. With the alloy, The Machination created a decoy car to replace with [[Sunstreaker (G1)|Sunstreaker]] and fool his [[Autobot]] teammates into thinking that he was dead. 

After the bait-and-switch, [[Jimmy Pink]] examined the decoy's chassis and found that it was made from Ultralite.
