President Colton commissioned the [[Global Orbiting Defense Satellite]]s as a defense against the chance of the [[United States of America|United States]] ever being attacked again. After the [[Autobot]]s hijacked the satellite and the [[Decepticon]]s eventually destroyed the satellite's controller in response, Colton was glad to hear the satellite's self-defense mechanism worked exactly as planned. He wasn't too concerned with the rest of the world's reaction to the remainder of the satellites being brought on-line, nor with [[Professor Arkeville]]'s scientists. The [[Transformer]]s, however, interested him a great deal, especially the Autobots...  {{storylink|Eye in the Sky}}
