Members of the Guard were present at the Primal Basilica in the time before the [[Great War]] when [[Nominus Prime]] had been killed and been interned at the high altar. However, [[Orion Pax]] came to believe that the [[Matrix of Leadership]] within Nominus [[Prime]]'s chest had been replaced with a bomb.
