When the ''[[Lost Light]]'' intruded on Galactic Council space, it was intercepted by ''The Benign Intervention'', whose captain had some choice words to say. K'gard was talked into cooperating with the [[Autobot]]s by [[Ultra Magnus (G1)|Ultra Magnus]], and used the ship's teleport to beam some of the the ''Lost Light''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> crew to the planet below, before bringing Ultra Magnus aboard the ''Intervention''. When the ship was hit by a beam of energy from the planet, K'gard dispatched the ship's compliment of troops to the planet surface and used the ''Intervention''<nowiki>'s</nowiki> systems to create an incineration shell around the ''Lost Light'' in preparation to destroy the other ship. The timely intervention of a freed [[Metrotitan (body-type)|Metrotitan]] meant that the ''Lost Light'' escaped destruction and ''The Benign Intervention'' continued on its way. {{storylink|Primus: You, Me, and Other Revelations}}
