[[Grey|Dr Grey]] was based at Fossil Bluff Station. When a discovery was made in one of the oil fields, he rushed off to investigate. [[Jeff Grey]], [[Bill Gordon]] and [[Neil Travers]] later arrived by boat for a visit, and the staff passed on a note saying where Dr Grey had gone.
